✓ Needs improvementI literally just paid for the app because my 1 year old loves watching these videos on YouTube. He has been counting and saying his abc’s. I will teach as well but took a backseat approach to see if this show was going to be beneficial. I don’t really sit my son in front of the tv, if I do it’s prob towards the end of the day and I like it to be educational. So, by observing him watching the YouTube videos I see he’s increased his learning double so this is my go to for his development. However, I am disappointed with the app. It’s glitchy on my phone. No sounds play only the instrumental and I can’t go back once I click on a letter and it takes so long for them to start sounding out the letter I didn’t even know at first they had that option that’s how glitchy and laggy it is for me. I can’t really do much in the app itself. I am okay with supporting them because I believe in their cause but they should put more thought and care into their app esp if they are charging. You’d expect it to be well throughout. Dollar or not it’s the principal. At least have your app represent you in a good light and this app is so far below the bar of what they offer on YouTube. I see they haven’t updated it since it’s debut. I hope they see this review and consider working on their app or are already in the process. Shalom.Balance=KeyVersion: 1.2

✓ App could do with some improvementsAs much as I love Akili on YouTube, the app is very basic and could do with some improvements. it is very affordable and for the price I didn’t expect leaps and founds however I would at least like an introduction or some instructions on how to use the app rather than just straight into the game and being guided by some arrows. ✓ Way too simpleThe app consists ONLY in the following: 1) Pick a letter of the alphabet 2) From a set of four choices, find the letter you just picked 3) The app then says the letter name and sound it makes a few times, along with three words that begin with that letter That’s it. Way too simple to be helpful. Too little reinforcement on each letter. And it’s lowercase letters only. The Akili letter YouTube videos are way better. For an app try the Starfall ABCs. Still pretty simple, but it spends more time on each letter, and requires more child interaction. Also, it’s free..ChrisGeekster93Version: 1.2

✓ Great but needs moreMy daughter loves akili so I decided to buy to app. I just wish it had a little more to help learn not really hands on. And we went through the whole app in like 5 minutes. I hope in the future more games are added in to learn..AnanderrrsVersion: 1.2

✓ Information Not as advertisedI feel cheated ... even though it’s a dollar worth. The information given isn’t what is given . Only the alphabets matching comes up and the alphabets are in small letters only. My issue is cancelling the subscription, I can’t seem to find a way to cancel and the email I sent hasn’t been responded to..AsdfhhjjkkklVersion: 1.2
