✓ FigmentI thoroughly enjoyed this game. The theme was unique. Graphics were awesome. Only one problem I have with the game is that they could’ve left out the cursing. It’s not needed at all. ✓ SwearsThis is a great game with a brilliant story and a lot of potential but the guy swears. A lot. Yet the age rating says 9+! If I was 9 I would have learned at least 2 really bad swear words from this game, but the rest of the game is fine! ✓ Imaginative Creative BrillianceThis is a fine example of a Developer who really cares about their product. The imagination and creativity in this adventure are astounding. The voices are wacky as are the characters, and it all works beautifully. Frustratingly I got stuck on a fight scene and thought I wouldn’t be able to progress with the game, however persistence paid off and eventually victory was mine. Revised back to 5 stars. ✓ FabulousI’ve loved every minute of this game, I originally started the free part but became hooked and quickly purchased the full game, I have just finished and I can honestly say it blew me away, the concept is clever and original, the story lovely and on top of that very catchy music, I especially like the rhymes the villains sing 😂hilarious. I’ve just seen that there’s a sequel and got very excited only to realise it’s not in my App Store..... booo! 😢 oh well hopefully it will be available some time. I also love the fighting scenes which was a surprise as I normally don’t enjoy combat games but the difficulty setting was perfect... not too easy but not too hard. ✓ Loved 99% of the gameI love the graphics. I love the characters and voice actors. I love the music, songs and story line. I even love all the puns. I hate the thumb control! I almost didn't buy the game because of other reviews about the controls. The control that moves Dusty around proved the biggest challenge but perseverance finally paid off. I definitely enjoyed the fight scenes at the end of each chapters. It’s a good way to move on and show that you are getting closer to your goal. Also the dialogues, the music ... it’s simply genius! If you’re a legend of Zelda fan from back in the day— I’m talking Nintendo 64, ocarina of time and GameCube twilight princess you’re sure to like this game too. I’ve never considered myself a gamer or huge on video games or app games but this game deserves so much praise. The detail that has gone into every single aspect of this game is incredible. The music. The graphics. Man. The idea that you’re playing within the mind is not only extremely creative too it also allows you to self reflect. In act one, nightmares escaped and trauma has changed the entire side of the mind we’re in. It’s unrecognizable. How do nightmares and trauma affect your own mind and body? Despite tapping the screen multiple times and trying to move the character, he simply just doesn’t move sometimes...which makes boss fights very frustrating. ✓ One of the best iPhone games!This game is UNREAL!!! Soooo well made! I will admit that some of the game is insanely hard to figure out on your own... I did have to use a walk through for a few of the “puzzles” in the game, but it really gets your brain working all while being super submersed into the game’s world. ✓ Love this game!Best $5 I have ever spent. I enjoy the music, the creativity and the imaginary as well as the dialogue is very believable without being corny. It kept me entranced for long periods of time because i have to be indoors due to the covid-19 it was the most entertaining way to spend my time. I would say there should be also hints when you realize you are stuck. I play on my phone and the screen is smaller so it can be hard to see some things in the game. When trying to re-enter the “Planning Plateau” level, I cannot enter the bridge and can only go back to the previous level. ✓ Great graphics but difficult to controlI love the game and the concept, the backgrounds and the characters. It is an amazing and beautiful story about our mind. It is very visual. There is a guy who travels through the mind fighting all types of diseases and bad guys which represent fears, depression, anxiety. There are quite a lot of fighting scenes where you have to fight or escape from nightmare figures. The controls are under your left thumb which is not the best for the right-handed people. I am finding it hard to navigate. It does spoil the fun. But I will carry on and hope this is something you will work on. Having controls to be on the right side would make it easier for me. I would also create distance between the roll and sword buttons. I would like to see the energy icon all the time, not only when I lose life. There are a lot of fight scenes and the nightmare figures are almost impossible to conquer. In some scenes I don’t even have to fight them to achieve my goal. I would make it clear - once I have killed a bad guy he stays killed and doesn’t reappear. In the scenes where you don’t need to fight in order to finish your task - remove the bad guys. There needs to be a purpose for a fight and clarity, also the feeling of accomplishment. Everybody compliments your beautiful graphics. There are a lot of doors and plants that don’t have a function in the game. You could develop that. I don’t think there even need to be fight scenes at all in this game as it is a mind puzzle but if there are you would have to work more on the feedback you have received and test it with a couple of players before releasing an update..Version: 1.3.7
✓ Thoroughly entertainingI tried the free taster, which is extraordinarily long, and was completely hooked. This is an excellent puzzle game which can be played if you think logically. The controls took a bit of getting used to but they aren’t too difficult. The story is good and the characters fun. I particularly love the art work and the imagination and the work which have gone into this game is astounding! I never buy games with fighting as I hate hack and slash, so I was a bit apprehensive about this after reading other reviews. However, the mini fight sequences at the end of each chapter are actually fun and consist of just using your character to destroy the bad little demons before passing onto the next level. I rarely pay much for a game, as they are not usually not worth (with a few notable famous exceptions) more than a couple of pounds. However, after playing the free taster I had no hesitation in paying for this, it’s brilliant and really entertaining. However, there are some glitches in movement on the iPad, for example: not allowing the main character to traverse moving platforms due to the function preventing you from running off edges (biggest problem), and occasionally swings with the sword don’t do anything to the boss even when the sword clearly hit the boss.
