✓ Ignored the app for 3 yearsI had purchased pro version of The Grid (base app of this version)which was ignored for several years and now the developer is asking to move to this app. What guarantees that it will not be abandoned? ✓ Can’t really try itDownloaded to give it a try but the features I wanted to try out are not available without purchase so can’t really test it out properly. Also, it seems a bit glitchy in places. ✓ Seems Nice, But…*** Thanks for your response. • You wanted to know about the glitch in Extreme Calendar. So I have written up a description of it and will post it as an Extreme Calendar review (it is somewhat difficult to describe so hopefully you will be able to understand what I am trying to convey). *** I was excited when I discovered Extreme Calendar and eventually got the paid version. It was great in many ways and I used it for years. However, it stopped being updated long before it was replaced, despite at least one troublesome glitch that should have been addressed years ago. Now there is Ulti-Planner (nice name!) which, while also pretty nice (as far as I can tell from the free version), requires you to pay for several features that came free with Extreme Calendar, and has a one-time paid version that is almost twice as expensive as Extreme Calendar’s paid version was. I have considered biting the bullet and paying for this new calendar as well. However, my experience with Extreme Calendar made a memorable impression and I really have to wonder whether, in time, regular updates for this calendar (or any updates at all) stop coming as well. ✓ NO WAY TO IMPORT CALENDARSObviously program is useless with no way to enter date sensitive data as no default calandra as a result of the program being unable to recognize any of my 78 calendars. It’s sister program Agenda does this perfectly. Wasted 2 hours of my life trying to get Ultimate-Planner to work properly because promo material seemed promising. ✓ Poor layout and designI’ve been using xtreme agenda (same author) for years and I absolutely love it. It is one of the few apps I actually paid to upgrade. I got a notice that this is the replacement for XA so I installed it. No, thank you. The interface is awful. The XA interface has a large calendar space and is very easy to read. I would need to use a magnifying glass with this crowded mess 100% of the time for it to be of any use to me. I’ll hang with XA a little longer..JFuscoVersion: 1.0

✓ Really like this apps potential, just a few concernsThis app has come the closest I can find to being exactly what I want in a calendar. A way of seeing a detailed view of the month and to filter by specific event types and work out how many times an event is occurring in a period. However it is severely let down by the fact changes don’t seem to be reflected in the app and the week view doesn’t seem to be part of the free version. I know there’s a 14 day free trial however I don’t have a lot of time to deep dive and it would be nice to see a week view as this is fairly standard..ParallelsaVersion: 1.35

✓ UPDATE: I raised my rating to a 3 because the developer responded & that’s quite rare these days!ORIGINAL: So the pictures of the app on the App Store look good. I got pretty excited about this one. Tried the free trial and it doesn’t get past one single page which is the year. I can’t even get it to show the day. It doesn’t come with directions, so I have no idea what I may be doing wrong. But I can’t understand how all these people, are they real people?, Are giving it such high ratings and actually, the pricing is too low to make it a really legitimate good app. i’m running it on the latest version of iPhone and the latest update.
