Easy to fit the verb reviews in when taking a short break from other stuff meaning you can practice little and often and it targets and repeats what you need to practice. Too often you are made to memorize the different verb endings for each conjugation form, without drilling also what the form is saying. ✓ Great app for drilling French verbsGreat app for drilling in those words. It introduces you to the chart, familiarizes you to the conjugated forms by presenting a multiple choice and then has you write it out. Very effective. I wonder if there is an option for batch studying words though (and randomizing tenses). It’s kind of tedious to keep switching tenses on one word and then move one word to the next. Also, I noticed theres no passé composé tense despite there being passé simple. Passé composé is very very commonly used in both colloquial and written forms, while passé simple is strictly very literary and used to describe events far disconnected from the present (aka past historic). Please put in passé composé 😭🙏.Version: 2020.9

App developer is obviously very much “on top” of seeing that we are given the best instruction and it shows. So far, it’s the list of the 100 most used verbs, (he has included every conjugation) but I think I read a note saying he was planning to add more. If you struggle at all with verb congregation (I was fine until I hit the Spanish pretérito), this is the app for you. Having a coffee break, sitting on the train, sitting on the loo … open app, select new verb/tense and bingo you are learning. It hasn’t replaced my written flash cards yet, as I find writing them out helps, but using this app has become key to my Spanish language journey and sits in my phone dock as a constant reminder to learn rather than waste my time scrolling through faux lives and adverts on social media.
