✓ Great speaker but annoying app featuresI LOVE the sound of the speaker. However, a couple of things about the way it connects irk me. Firstly, if you have any of the mood lights on (which are cool!) the light on my phone torch flashes too.. I can't fathom how to turn it off, but it means I can't have the mood lighting on as it runs my phone battery down plus the torch constantly flashing is really annoying. Secondly, when controlling via the phone app (all my music is on my phone via soundcloud, iTunes or Dropbox) each time I literally do anything else on my phone like - play a game with sound, try and take a video or make a phone call, the music stops. In order to take a video of the speaker working I had to use another phone to take the video then send to myself via WhatsApp, just to send to my parents to say thanks for my amazing gift! I've got round that by using a second mobile to control the speaker instead, but if anyone has a workaround for either of these issues, I'd love to hear the solution. Otherwise, everything else is ok and the speaker itself is amazing. Plus you can connect an aux cable or plug in a usb stick if needed..Version: 1.3.63

✓ Literally Took Away Speaker FunctionalityThis app has literally removed rather than added speaker functionality, the app originally paired with my LG GP3 bluetooth speaker and allowed for changing of the LED color displayed, changing the input/connection type used (which is critical for connecting wired to a ps4 which I often did) and even allowed a master volume control that allowed a better control of volume than setting volume ok connected devices. However, with a recent update every time I now open the app I am told the app is no longer compatible with my speaker. This means all those features above are completely locked away and my speaker was set to a low master volume in the app meaning it is essentially useless as I can no longer adjust that volume, or any of the above settings, without the app. Thanks LG, for making and ruining a great product!!! :).Version: 1.7.06
