✓ Good but …I really want to learn BSL as it has so many good benefits and it’s best to start as young as possible (I’m 13). This is a really good layout and program however you need to pay to do the majority of it. It’s a real bummer as I can only do 3 sections and the rest I have to pay to use. I understand that you need to earn money somehow but please don’t force people to pay for a skill that could bring together community’s..0123456789101Version: 1.44

✓ Amazing however…I know I have written a review before on this app however, that was before I discovered the member ship thingy. In my opinion learning BSL properly should be free considering there are hundreds of people in the world who do not know sign language but have a family or friend who has hearing difficulties, therefore them not being able to communicate properly. ✓ Love it butI love the app I think it’s amazing for learning but you get around 2 hours of free content (which is good in comparison to a lot of apps) and £13 a month is a lot of money for the remaining content. It’s similar to Duolingo and has 19 topics to learn. You can learn the first 3 fully and the rest half. There’s a flash card system only available after pay. All in all the app needs more content as I could only imagine being provided with around 3-4 hours more of content after paying £13 a month.Kids club 2011Version: 1.44

✓ Great app but limited contentLove the app as the learning style is very intuitive and similar to Duolingo you don’t realise how much you learn as you go. However I paid £40 for the 3 month subscription which was a lot of money but thought it would be worth for 3 months’ access to lessons that I could do every day but after 3 DAYS I’ve done all the lessons and that’s it. Would be 5 star if it had a lot more content, 4 stars for this content free or much cheaper but I’ve had to make it 3 stars as money doesn’t match the content. 😭.SwashfordVersion: 1.45

✓ Considering your mission…If the mission of SignLab is to make sign language affordable to the world it baffles me a little bit as to how you can charge so much for an app. £90 a year is steep for what is on offer here and feels like such a contradiction to the supposed benevolence of your goals that I can only assume it’s been priced in error? If it was £40 I may well have already paid. And many more would. I don’t know why you would price yourself out of the market like this and cause so many to be put off from learning something so important. You’re offering one language here and it’s not that comprehensive a course yet either. Many other language apps offer a lot more for a lot less. If your goal is accessibility this just does not fit. You would even make more money if you dropped the price because many more would pay. Even offering monthly payment would be a huge improvement in financial accessibility. ✓ PaymentMe and my friend both downloaded this app to learn bsl for fun, and were doing everything together at the same time. after doing “greetings”, “useful signs” and “numbers”, I had to pay like £70 to continue, whereas my friend unlocked everything without even paying. she said they unlocked one by one, but I even deleted my account and made two new ones but I still have to pay and she doesn’t. it’s an amazing app so I don’t understand why we have to pay so much to use it, and I cant even learn enough before paying, it’s unfair. of course she has to pay for quizzes and flash cards, and it still suggests to upgrade to premium, so I don’t understand. please fix.RaspberrychocVersion: 1.45

✓ UhSo basically I was really really enjoying this and I thought that I would maybe even be able to have a full conversation soon but I was 17 days in (pretty good to be fair) and it gave me a paywall-I cannot do anymore lessons or practise. And it’s really depressing when you don’t know that that will happen cuz now I have to install a different app and learn it all over again. It was great tho.#cora=pawsomeVersion: 1.45
