More importantly, the time is incorrect (ahead of the correct time) by 11 mintes. I’m not sure when this started but I think it was sometime in the summer of 2023. Interestingly the time changes with the hour (ie the British Summer time adjustments) but each time remained 11 minutes fast. This would be an issue if we wanted to use the film as evidence in unlawful entry situation..Version: 1.99.710

We were in Arizona watching the hurricane storm on our cameras in Florida. Love this system. Two things I would like to see, ability to turn off/on a camera in the app. We don’t like the interior camera on when we are home but love it when we aren’t. Second, while reviewing past video is fairly easy jumping forward, the fast forward option is great. I love the system and highly recommend it. ✓ Reliable cameraI have had this Dahua camera for over 3 years. It works great. My biggest concern with cameras this price was the detection value. This camera detects motion from 150’ with no problem. It helped me bust a guy I knew who came one day (while I was at work) “borrow” some tools… I am planning on buying more Dahua cameras soon. ✓ Missing FunctionsThe app is generally good but lacks certain features and some functions removed in latest update. PTZ no long allows selecting presets as it did previously. You can't start and stop saved patterns or scans on PTZ cameras. No ability to switch off or pause notifications easily without switching all off and then having to remember to switch back on. The only problem is maneuvering around the cameras when you need a certain clip or pictures. Also not real easy to form invisible trip wires. ✓ GoodI install cctv daily and use this app and it’s very good the only thing that could be done better is the motion detection on playback, you need to make the back ground black and the motion detection yellow so you can see on playback when the motion has been detected! At the moment it’s very hard to see on the blue bar and a very light black line which means there has been motion detected but you struggle to see it the lines need to be thicker and brighter That’s the only thing that in my opinion should be addressed. Oh and to be able to change the time from the app as sometimes for whatever reason the time can jump ahead or back an hour and would be handy to change to correct time when this happens as you can reformat or restart system remotely so why not be able to change time ?.Version: 1.99.202

It's not always and there's no rule when it will happen- it just happens. - a few times a Year it suddenly switches off just after launching, - sometimes loading image from camera goes to 98% and stops. Switching to next camera and returning to the previous solves it - image is visible immediately. (I use it on iPhone 13 mini with always newest possible iOS.).Version: 1.99.401

✓ Teething issues a plenty but now settled downSystem installed by a friend who runs a security company. Replaced a less sophisticated system. He promised the world with this system but for weeks it was plagued with problems. False activations in their hundreds mis identification of items causing continuous push notifications with false info. He replaced one system controller and that helped. It was not the end of the issues however. 2 cameras were replaced and since then things have finally settled down. We still get accidental activations from heavy driving rain or snow but generally 95%are now genuine activations. Overall it’s a great system. Don’t know if others have had issues but now it’s working its great and with 8 cameras we have a 360 % coverage of the house and gardens Ian.Version: 1.99.611

Right now I have alarms set for motion detection and I can turn the alarm on/off globally (bell icon on live screen). But in the app, 'motion detection' still sends notifications even when alarm is disarmed. I tried other (non-obvious) notifications options but none of them seems to be linked with whatever I have set up for alarm on my recorder.
