✓ Great so farFrom a comparison of alternatives, it has the best UI and integration with iOS (Shortcuts are especially powerful) & Alexa. It seems very well thought out. It wasn’t clear from the description but there’s a 1 week trial period before subscription starts so little risk. But yes it does require entering your Tesla credentials of course, as all Tesla apps would, and some more detail on the usage and security employed would be welcome and provide more confidence). If you’re super paranoid about that then none of these apps are suitable, and much else besides..Version: 2.2.2

✓ Love this app! And possible automationI’ve only had this app for about five hours, but I’m already really liking it. Love being able to ask Siri to do things for me! One thing I would really like in the automation is that when I come home the rear camera app opens. I use the rear camera to let me know when I should stop in my garage. Just a thought. ✓ Brilliant automation, insightful data & useful loggingTessie has been with me since day 3 of my Tesla ownership, I’ve referred many to the Tessie experience during my time as a user. Of particular benefit is the ability to lock the Tesla into strictly off peak only charging with both cut off and resume Charing fully automated based on times. We open and close our boot using Siri as we’re approaching the car as well which is really helpful with no key fob. Finally come tax time the export function for log booking is an absolute life saver..Version: 8.8.5
✓ Amazing for Data TrackingI downloaded this app before I took delivery of my MYP and didn’t know what to expect. I quickly realized that this is the best app to have if you are into tracking data over time, not to mention while doing so on a beautiful, easy to use app. I often tap and hold on the graphs to zoom into more precise data readings of energy uses on drives, idles, etc. I think the $200 for lifetime use is a bit pricey but I will write that off over the years of Tesla ownership. The scheduling options go further then the regular Tesla app. I use it for very specific off peak charging and preconditioning at work. ✓ Suggestion for TabletsHello, so I would love to add two iPads, one behind each seat in my Model Y to give the interior a higher end look while providing passengers with options such as changing the temperature and adjusting seat warmers. This app would be so perfect if it had a “tablet” mode where it shifts into landscape and gives an even simpler UI for passengers. They should only be able to view the controls, climate, and location. Additionally, allowing us to launch the app in either Full View mode (like now) or Tablet mode to provide a seamless experience. ✓ Best iPhone Tesla app - but still missing a few key thingsTried TeslaFi, TeslaScope, Stats, Tezlab, Nikola, and Tessie. I pick TeslaFi and Tessie for now. I’d like to just use one, but TeslaFi is missing a mobile app and economic ability to support multiple cars, and Tessie is missing: 1) trips / roadtrips. I like to share my roadtrip info with friends. 2) better more concise visuals of analytics like TeslaFi 3) IOS shortcut “send destination to car” action 4) iOS shortcut “get destination from car” action 5) Calendar views by month and year with applicable stats via their web interface like TeslaFi. What they do have is 50% of that but I can’t easily go to March of last year and get all my driving/charging stats and compare to this year..Version: 11.1.18

When I got my Tesla just over a year ago, I tried out several web and iOS apps. I assumed I would mostly use TeslaFi given it is the standard and the comprehensiveness of the logging. However, a native iOS app was still appealing, particularly for Apple Watch functionality, and I found Tessie to be the cleanest and most functional, at a reasonable annual subscription price. Over the past year, I have seen regular and substantial feature upgrades. I also made a feature suggestion which was implemented within a week or two, and received one-and-done support and a fix for an edge case bug on an evening within the hour. Incredible. I essentially never even look at TeslaFi any more, and use Tessie on a daily basis - probably as important as the Tesla app itself. Cannot recommend enough..Version: 6.2.9

✓ Excellent appExcellent app. The price is justified by the attention to details and quality of deliverables. I admire the developer(s) work from UI to UX to backend. Whether someone decides to subscribe to the app or pay for it is a personal choice based on the value the app provides to them. I encourage the dev to consider decreasing the price if they are able to decrease the cost per subscriber or are able to keep the profit margin per subscriber constant. It really helps this is being a software product and the operational costs are hopefully are not as high. That may help drive the subscriptions up and increase the agg profit. ✓ Just a few things that bug me to death.Why can't the interface fit on the screen of my iPad Pro? Why does the interface consist of buttons ten times the size they need to be? Why did the designers make sure that there is as little contrast as possible between the lettering and the background? Do they think we like struggling to read apps? The charts are very useful. Why isn't there a way to export them? You can't even screenshot them because the useful information is carefully sprawled out so that it's bigger than the screen. ✓ Can’t logon with 2FA - Update: Fixed!I use 2FA on my Tesla account. Tessie doesn’t allow me to connect the app to my Tesla account without disabling 2FA. Edited to 3 stars: After I disabled 2FA and connected Tessie I enabled my 2FA again and Tessie still is connected to my Tesla account. Time will tell if it continues working. ✓ Reliable and ModernUnlike other third party apps Tessie UI is modern and user friendly. As I love data this app is worth my money and gives me exactly what I need to keep a better track. Additionally, Watch OS and Siri support works like a charm which allows me to communicate with my car on the go. 4 stars at this stage as I wish Tessie could introduce charging features for automatic start/stop scheduling functions. ✓ Where do I start?An extremely well written and intuitive app. Much better than the Tesla app (sorry Elon). It is a must if you have a Tesla. And even more of a must if you have a Tesla + iWatch. You can simply use your iWatch as a key, which is not avaialable on the Tesla app. Also you can check charging from your iWatch. There are so many Easter eggs in this app. There is the ‘visualise my range on a map’ which shows a highlight area on a map where you can reach to with your current battery level. There is the ‘real world’ range which shows what you are realistically getting from your battery, which is less than the Tesla figure. Very handy. Very in-depth journey trip info and battery usage. Also historical charging data. This app is well worth the $50 a year - easily. I can’t quite understand how people could give it low stars just for the price. It is very good value for money. ✓ Not sureIt’s a good looking app and a lot of thought and attention has been put into this, you can tell. For me though, it doesn’t do enough to distinguish itself from the original Tesla app? Maybe it’s an app for stats, but I was after functionality (actually, I want multiple preheat cabin options so I can warm the car in the morning and evening before leaving work) If it had the above feature, I would happily pay £50 a year just for that. ✓ Way more detailed that the official Tesla appAbsolutely blown away by this app. Way more detailed than the official Tesla app. Breaks down your favourite chargers, all chargers EVER visited, can tell the difference between the chargers and more importantly (for me anyway), the cost of the charge. Provides updates to your smart watch, even tells you detailed info for example, when to swap over tyres (every 6.5k). Really Impressed!.Version: 8.7.4
