✓ Not bad if it were 2009This app is garbage. If it weren’t my ONLY option to watch the Cubs, I definitely wouldn’t subscribe. The antiquated user interface is amateur hour. They advertise it as new and improved, I can only image how bad the old version was. Get it together!.Version: 2.0.2
✓ Love the App. But I cant lock my phoneI love being able to watch my Cubbies now. However, if you airplay to your tv you CANNOT lock your iPhone Otherwhise the game stops playing. You either need to make sure your phone does not lock, or have an additional app open that will keep your phone on and running. Definitely annoying and battery draining..Version: 2.0.4
✓ Easily worst app I’ve ever usedThis app constantly stops working and dies when casting to my TV with Airplay. Whenever I get a notification on my iPhone it pauses. Whenever I use my iPhone and then stop and the screen goes black, it pauses. I have to unpause it like 100 times to get through one Cubs game..Version: 2.0.2
✓ When it works…Top of the third inning on my first use of the app & it has had an error message & I’ve had to restart the app no less than 5 times. When it works it is fine but it is totally unacceptable how many times it crashes.Version: 2.0.2
✓ Awful and expensive$20 a month to stream the cubs and it’s not even available on my main TV (because it’s not Ruku) and even on my upstairs TV this IS Ruku the app doesn’t always let me watch the game, as it happening right now which is why I’m writing this review. I have to watch most games on my phone or iPad. And if you do watch it on a TV, you have unskippable ads! On a app you pay $20 a month for! This network is a crock of crap, and it’s an embarrassment Cubs ownership pulled this on a team that is as popular as it is because they were on free TV for decades..Version: 2.0.2
✓ Still has issuesThe app just updated again 2 days ago. I have the app on my Roku device and I can not play it because the sound is ahead of the video—— the app will work on my phone, but when I go to AirPlay it now, all of a sudden I have to have the app open and on my screen to be able to shut my screen off or it will stop playing on my tv. ✓ Crappy app on Apple TVThis crap app freezes frequently when I open it. It literally displayed a message saying come back later twice, so I couldn’t watch the Cubs game. Wanting to watch the Cubs is the only reason I haven’t canceled my subscription. Clearly it was rushed into service before it was finished. ✓ Closed captioningNewly subscribed to the stand alone subscription. Picture quality is really good but every time I log in, I have to manually turn off the closed captioning which can be difficult to get to. ✓ Constant pausingHave to leave my device open to keep it playing when casting to TV, even then, it still randomly pauses. Most times I have to restart the app to keep it going. Samsung currently doesn’t support Marquee (although Marquee claims they do) only available via internet browser on tv/device which is cumbersome and time consuming each time u want to watch the Cubs Live - the remainder of programming on Marquee is crap Two attempts to research Customer Support - crickets. ✓ App constantly buffersThis app buffers and buffers…..and buffer. Once it starts playing again it is super blurry. So frustrating. None of my other streaming apps do this..Version: 2.0.4
✓ Horrible on every deviceThe only way this app works for in market streaming is if you watch on a fire stick and don’t log out or switch apps. Watch the first couple innings but need to let your kid use the TV? Well if you try to go back into the app while the game is going on it gives you an error. If you try to go to a different fire stick in a different room error. I’ve yet to have it work on my phone or chromebook. On my Roku the sound is 2 pitches ahead of the video. The app basically doesn’t work and isn’t up to modern standards. It’s like going back in time 20 years..Version: 2.0.2

✓ Horrible appSays you can register up to 20 devices but are only allowed to stream from 2 at a time. Even though no other devices are on and no one else in house is watching the game App CONSTANTLY will tell you you can watch because the game is streaming from multiple devices. There’s no option to try to look up which devices the games are supposedly streaming on. If you leave any device with the app still logged on, even though game isn’t being streamed, it apparently counts that. So you have to go to every tv every phone and manually log out, and sometimes that doesn’t even work. I’ve often had to log in with my phone get the error message log back out then for some reason it will then work on the TV. I’ve contacted customer service and it’s just a repeated reply that says you can only stream from two devices..Version: 2.0.2
✓ Hostage Cubs FanFinally have the option of watching Cubs games live. That’s it. The quality of the streaming experience has a long way to go. -Picture quality is ok.. -App not available for Samsung smart TV Google Chromecast. -Apple Airplay is glitchy -Very limited Archiving or playback options. Really limited considering this is my most expensive monthly streaming subscription. ✓ App Compatibility is TerribleMarquee rolled out the direct to consumer model but it does not partner with a lot of important operating systems. I have to airplay my iPad to my Apple TV box because the app on the Apple TV box only allows online logins with a cable subscription.
