✓ Love this app!!This app is really impressive. I just passed CySA+ yesterday, and it was by far my favorite tool. It keeps track of your weakest subjects and missed questions. You can take a quick 10, timed quiz, missed questions, weakest subject, or build your own quiz. It allows you to review all questions. Really useful for test prep. I was quite surprised. ✓ Good, but needs a comment featureI love this app it has helped me pass a couple of certifications in the past, I just wish there was a comment feature incorporated when viewing community results! Some of the answers are very similar and the explanation doesn’t always make enough sense to understand. ✓ Exceptional Interface, Good CISSP PrepI cannot say enough good things about this app. The interface is outstanding and it was easily my favorite test prep tool for the CISSP I passed yesterday. It is important to note that the questions are very good at testing your knowledge and identifying your weaknesses, BUT they are more technical and better written than the questions on the actual exam. ✓ Pls optimize for iPad!!Well designed. The way you interact and the outputs are very good. I would give it 5 stars if only it were optimized for the iPad. Currently it looks like an iPad app that you can zoom. When using with an external display the screen reorients as landscape, but the dimensions are really portrait. ✓ Wow Such A Great App!I’m a long time user of PocketPrep apps for studying CompTIA verifications and have always loved the apps. They are no longer available, so they redirect you to this app instead. I thought I’d try it, and wow it’s such a great app! It’s like the old apps, but supercharged and so tastefully updated. ✓ Passed CISSP first time!I used this for not quite a month, in addition to my own online study course and research and I passed CISSP on first attempt. The questions and content are useful. The answers are sourced and you can read up on them if you chose…and you should! This is a solid app and that you can use it anytime, means you never have an excuse not to get some studying in. ✓ Great for quick studying!I love the quick 10 feature. Any time I have 5-10 minutes to spare, I can knock out a quick quiz or 2. I learn better this way. I also like that it tracks your progress with subjects as well as how you’re doing in comparison to others using the app. The question bank is pretty large, I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and I haven’t run into too many duplicates. ✓ I passed my exam first tryThere are quite a few negative reviews but I wanted to share that I used this app everyday and I passed my Security + the first try. This was not the only form of study I used and it was coupled with other study guides and questions. However this app helped me to quickly study and LEARN the concepts. I used the quick 10 quiz almost every day (few times a day) until I was receiving 80% grade results and felt confident with the material. NO these questions will not be on the exam but it helps you to understand the concepts. I highly recommend using them as an addition to other study materials..Version: 3.6.7
✓ Getting Better: UI is better, questions are good.I reviewed this earlier when it wouldn’t go landscape mode on iPad but it works better now. Questions are better but some do reflect some knowledge on the writer. You have to think into the question to understand that they don’t always know all the technology making two answers correct. ✓ Excellent App but...This is an excellent, well made app for learning any of the CompTIA subjects. My only disappointment is how expensive the full version is. It packs a hefty monthly subscription for a phone app that does not even have any videos. But I don’t really think I can fault the app for anything else. ✓ Feature-Rich Study App!I tried many CompTIA study apps and the Pocket Prep offered many elements that others do not. This app offers you stats of your progress and knowledge, matching it with the community, and lets you know your study streak. It lets you know your weaknesses in particular subjects and lets you focus on those often-missed questions. You have options of time quizzes, weakness quizzes, quick pop quizzes, etc. It even has a count-down to test day in case you have that plan, which is a great motivator. I really like their Question of the Day and you can personalize your reminders/times. Most importantly, they are very thorough in their explanation of the correct answer so you know thoroughly why you got it wrong and how to research it further. Finally, they have amazing customer service and contacted me back very quickly. I feel confident I will pass with this app!.Version: 1.2.7

✓ Great ResourceI’ve used this product for 2 certification exams and I am now back for my 3rd. This is a very good resource that I consider one of the top reasons I did so well on the previous two exams. This is a newer app that combines many of their previous test prep program into one app but it brings with it a new pricing structure which I am not a fan of. Previously, you could purchase the premium version for $25 per test for life. They now charge a $20 subscription which may benefit some who take many test quickly but not most users..Version: 1.2.7
✓ Great on the go resourceI took and passed the CompTIA Net+ with the help of this app. The explanations are a great tool to further cement concepts. As you are using this app, don’t just memorize the questions and answers, but make sure to read the explanations behind the answers. I liked that there was the option to review/study questions you missed or flagged. I highly recommend using this app in conjunction with other resources (ex. ✓ App locked me out-updated ****I had to create a new profile but I was able to login and restore purchase.😀 I paid for the yearly subscription to the app about a week ago. I have switched iPads and now not able to log in. The one time passcodes don’t work and neither does the reset password, All I get is a network error. I’m currently studying for more than one cert though and would love to be able to create my own quiz where I can choose more than one cert to answer questions in the same quiz instead of having to toggle between certs. ✓ Excellent toolThis was my primary study tool. I found the questions current and relevant. I bought another test platform and found those questions to be outdated. The platform was excellent as well. The ability to create custom mock exams helped considerably. Quick 10 question quizzes when I had a few spare minutes kept the material fresh in mind. ✓ Second guessingI subscribed to premium as this is the most challenging CISM prep of all. However, I do agree with other reviewers that questions are sometimes written in a confusing manner while possible answers are often fuzzy. In other words, how can you answer a question that you cannot understand? This may be a good thing if the actual CISM exam follows this practice. If not, it may be detrimental in that you may always expect an trickily worded question and then develop a habit of second guessing to the wrong answer..Version: 3.10.0

✓ The Best Of The Best!I see a lot of people here complain about the pricing and it’s ridiculous. 50 bucks for 3 months of studying will land you a job that pays over 8 times that in a week. Not to mention the fact that it tells you the community average and you can choose from multiple certificates to study from. I just finished answering all 800 questions, didn’t realize how little I knew, no worries though because you can specifically choose the subjects you are weak in, you can build your own quiz, and even do timed quizzes so you can test yourself as if you are really taking the test. ✓ Amazing App - Dated questions for CCSPThe app itself is great. The daily question, and custom quizzes are really good. The CCSP questions however are based on the 3rd edition book and as of Jan 2023 the official book is 5th edition. That means it will cover things like DREAD which was abandoned in 2008 and isn’t in any of the modern test materials. There are a few other examples of this but 90% or more is still valid and the app experience itself is really good..Version: 3.6.8

Once I finish a first pass, I can select only those questions I missed, to focus my study efforts. And finally, I can generate a 90 question random quiz to simulate an exam. ✓ Great appI was a little iffy about this app at first because the questions seemed pretty random at first and didn’t think they’d help me for the real test, but I was wrong. 2 weeks of using this app with 3-5 hours per day of studying gained me 71+ more points on the test than the previous time. Without the app I got a 610 on the test and with the app so far I got a 681 the last time I took it. I am taking it again in 2 weeks so I also haven’t answered all of the questions on the apps test bank yet, so I believe that I will improve my score or maybe pass next time I take it.Version: 3.2.0
✓ Helped me pass CISSPI was a bit salty about paying $20 a month for this app but now I'm actually glad I did. This was my final study/crunch frontier before my exam and i had a better experience using this app than any other material previously. ✓ So far so goodIt’s helpful and honestly it reminds me of exam premium which does the exact same thing as this app only….it’s free….but I do like how this is set up a lot better, that being said something that greatly concerns me would be the fact that when reviewing my answers the explanations of the answers use Comptia security + text books that are from versions three and four…..and right now Comptia is up to Version 8….but I take my exam next month and will continue to use this to make sure I understand the content, I will have to go somewhere else to study for PBQs however….Version: 3.6.1

Third-party review material has been hit-or-miss, with many offering material that is outside the bounds of the exam. That is not the case for this app, which directly correlates its material to the CompTIA student guide while asking questions that I haven’t seen yet. Then I took every mock exam and made a flashcard for every one I missed or acronym I didn’t fully understand or what I felt I needed to focus on. In the provided explanation, it states that typically policies are mandatory. In the question portion it list policies as being mandatory. Typically mandatory and mandatory have two different meanings. Unfortunately CompTIA exams are also riddled with types of misleading questions. ✓ Great app, with great features and one minor drawbackI just got this app about a week ago as I’m starting to prepare for the CISSP exam. It’s a great tool! The quizzes are well laid out and the flagging feature is super handy for reviewing things you’re not certain of. The stat tracking is awesome too. The main page gives you a straight aggregate percentage for all of the questions you’ve answered, as well as my favorite feature - a break down of my quiz performance by domain. My one complaint is that as I take quizzes containing only questions I’ve answered wrong before, it updates my percentage (both overall and per domain). I wish there was a way to retain my initial scores per domain because that would help. There is a history of all of my original quiz scores, and that’s awesome - but it doesn’t do the handy domain breakdown which is the most useful but as it would help me decide which section of the OSG book to focus my efforts on..Version: 2.3.0

✓ I passed!I used this to pass my Project +. There has not been a ton of study material for this exam because it is fairly new. This app takes the official comptia study guide and splits it into easy to understand chapters. And when you get a question wrong, it gives a full and clear explanation, as well as what page to reference in the study guide for more info. I found the way they split up and designed the quizzes, actually made me study even more! I am so thankful for this app and gladly pay for the subscription.
