✓ Poor quality questionsTerrible questions (CISM). Nowhere near the quality and standard of the official QAE nor the real exam questions. Many of them contain errors in grammar and punctuation. At least half of them are illogical and clearly thought up by amateurs. For this price I was expecting questions from industry experts, not illiterate frauds. ✓ Explanations not related to questionsThe mechanics of the app is good, I.e. building a quiz and taking it. Unfortunately the quality of the questions is not helpful. The explanation is just explaining why an answer is supposed to be correct but firstly the correct answer does not match the question and secondly there’s no explanation why other answers are incorrect or not as good (“select the best answers”) as the correct answer. Unfortunately not useful for CISM prep. 600 questions is a good number but that does not help if the quality of the questions is poor. In addition I think the new subscriptions are overpriced. I’m not sure if I will continue to use it for my CISM prep but I will certainly not buy any other subscriptions from pocket prep anymore..Ehunt212Version: 1.3.0

✓ Changed pricing to subscriptions?I found the PMP version extremely helpful so I decided to do the same for CISSP. However, I’m hesitant because it now requires a subscription. Additionally, I’m noticing the updated version freezes often and was not able to transfer my previous purchase. I’m so sick of subscription services!!!! ✓ Does not have SYO 501 Security+Seems like a good app. The price model is a bit pricey and you can find way better things in the App Store or online in my opinion. However, the worst part seems to be their customer service. First off they are giving false advertisement about have SYO 501 Security +. They only have study material for 601. Also when I asked the day that I got it if I could get a refund the customer service said yes. I said ok I would like to move forward with the refund and they haven’t replied in the past three days. I messaged them about everyday now and they still have not gotten back to me. Just not cool. I will definitely not be using this for any other exam I might want to take..GlasspaperVersion: 2.1.1

✓ A+ Free Users Provided Just 50-55 questionsWas I expecting something for nothing? Not exactly. I saw that this app had “in-app” purchases. Was I expecting a bit more than 50-55 questions out of the 1,000 questions available for COMPTIA A+ 1001 and 1002? Ab-so-lately. To be honest, the number of questions available did NOT even give me enough resources to utilize the app over two consecutive days so that I could determine if the study reminder functions and other tools might be worth the subscription price. Thinking about it, I originally thought 3 stars for this app, but the fact that it didn’t provide enough for me to determine if the price was worth paying, well, I’m gonna go with 2 stars. Other elements I didn’t like: 1) Acronyms are not fully spelled out (as an example from my head, “SSID” would be described as “SS Identifier”). 2) They do not do a great job of fully explaining why certain answers are correct, and they certainly do not do a very good job at explaining why some answers are incorrect which is almost as important. 3) I liked how the answer details provided reference back to a specific learning guide/book/resource, but a link to that page would be helpful (even if it would also force you to buy the resource. Who knows, maybe that would generate some revenue). TL;DR Version: Meh. I’d skip this one unless you’re ready to $$$. It’s just 50 or so questions and the explanations aren’t fully baked. ✓ Ok for prepI like the functionality of the app and how it tracks progress, sends study reminders, etc. What I don’t like is that a lot of questions are not very well written, and the explanation of the correct answer. Why not have an explanation for why an answer is wrong? This is the third practice test product I have used in my journey and it’s lacking what some others I have used have. ✓ Mostly good but some answers are incorrectI’m using this for CEH prep. Overall the platform is great. I love the convenience and ability to train on weak subjects. However, I have noticed more than a few inaccuracies with their answers. To verify my claim I compared answers with the actual CEH v11 course material from EC Council. This is a big issue in my opinion. You may be inadvertently training yourself to answer questions on the exam wrong. That said, about 95% of the questions are great and very accurate..8375283Version: 3.6.6

✓ Question Dump- Unhelpful for ExamHere is a direct reply from their staff: "Pocket Prep questions are designed to prepare you for the correct material, but we don't aim for the questions to be the same or necessarily similar. The main goal is to focus on the content and knowledge areas which will come up on the exam so that you are well versed on the subject and not just on specific style/set of questions"- Alex from Pocket Prep A specific style/set of questions is what prepping is. When you prep for a camping trip, you being all the neccesary gear right? This app is like a Dollar General REI, has a lot of stuff, but nothing helps you accomplish to goal, certification. Pocket preps questions, minus maybe 2 of the 300 did not exist in any form on the A+ exam. This is a question dump app and will not help you with the exam. It may enhance your understanding of some topics, but anyone in IT knows there are always questions and answers needed for them. This app is called "Pocket Prep", and prepared me for nothing but frustration after I paid for "premium" access after two months. Save your money and use something else. And yes, you are a braindump.
