✓ No use in poor signal areasA couple of times now I have tried to open my trunk using the watch app, but it doesn’t happen. I take out my iPhone and use that instead, get my gym bag and close the trunk. Once I’m changed and working out I get a message that the trunk is open. Today someone I know saw my car with the trunk open and closed it for me. This really isn’t acceptable to open the trunk after such a significant delay..Version: 1.1.6

✓ It’s OK, buggy appApp is decent, for the most part works and has some features that the Tesla app really should offer natively. It’s also pretty buggy and has a very amateur feel to it. Have yet to find a way to really contact support and get some of these issues sorted out. The website is their “support” and it is very light, has a few FAQ and that’s it. Overall it’s a wash, not sure I’d buy it again but decent enough that I’m not going to go through the hassle of a return / refund..Version: 1.3.10
✓ Massive Battery DrainI bought this app and installed it on my watch, Iphone, IPad and MacBookPro. Initially everything seemed to be fine. It worked as it should, although the process for reorganizing action icons is clunky and very slow to respond. But then, I noticed that the battery on my watch was draining very quickly - about 2 or 3 times the usual rate. The battery on my iPhone was also draining very fast - about 1.5 times the usual rate. The error logs in the app revealed that it was making multiple failed attempts to establish bluetooth connections, although it seemed to be working properly. I contacted the seller's tech support but have had no response after 3 days..Version: 1.3.10

✓ Eh it’s okGraphics, UX and UI of both the iPhone app and watch are non optimal. And yea technically you can use your Apple Watch and use it as a Bluetooth key to unlock your Tesla but I find I need to have the app up and running in the foreground for it to work but that extra step is not ideal for me. It’s a nice feature if you’re in an emergency or in a pinch but the extra step of loading the app is a buzz kill. I don’t know maybe I don’t have my settings configured correctly. Will keep my Tessie subscription because of the better graphics and UX/UI..Version: 1.3.0
✓ It has its benfitsI find the tesla watch app to be useful on Acacian, but it seems to have some issues that are difficult to explain. It takes some time to gain access to your tesla. Despite what is being said in advertisements, there seems to be a time delay, where your watch needs time to do it handshakes before you can manipulate things like fan speed, or opening/closing. ✓ Great app but can be slow or maybe I need helpThis is a must have for Tesla owners but it is slow more often than not, when I try and open parts of the car it can take up to 20 - 30 seconds before it opens, the frunk I’ve found to be the worst/slowest to open, sometimes it don’t open but I’ll get a notification saying frunk open when it’s not. Occasionally it works straight away but reading the reviews it seems most peoples app work fine so maybe it’s something I’ve done or maybe I’ll delete the app and install it again. It don’t matter if I’m on my super fast broadband or 5g it’s just got a delay to open anything otherwise I’d differently give this a 5 star. Hopefully the developer responds with a quick fix for me but I still love the app..Version: 1.2.4

✓ Login Error - Cannot loginI bought the app but have not been able to login despite multiple attempts. Essentially useless so far. Will change review and update rating if I can get any sort of support, which seems nonexistent at this point. [Update] I received a response from the developer who sounded quite upset and pointed out that I could try the Twitter account link and “maybe someone will be more willing to help you”. However, he did not offer any help himself or any troubleshooting ideas, just a short rant... App still does not work. Maybe he will read this update and offer some actual help or refund. Will post another update if I hear back from developer. [Update 2] Please note that I posted my review after trying the “support channels” mentioned be developer. I am clearly not the only person experiencing thus issue. I tried all suggestions I could find on the “issue tracker”, line rebooting the watch. So far, nothing worked. An “issue tracker” is not the same as support from the developer or the team. How can I contact someone directly? I read the positive reviews and believe this would be a great app, if I could log in! I hope that this time, instead of complaining about an honest negative review, the developer provides me with a solution. At this point I am not really interested in a refund. ✓ Only works sporadically w Apple WatchThis app would be great if it worked seamlessly with Apple Watch. Unfortunately, it only works 1 time out of 5. I got it primarily for hands-free opening of the trunk which rarely ever works. I’ve read that if you always are refreshing the app on the phone and keep it open then it works better but even when I’ve done that it barely works half the time. And frankly, if you’ve got to keep going into the app it’s just as simple to go into the actual Tesla app. So if you’re into constantly managing the app so it works when you want it to then this is for you but if you’re just looking for a convenient way to add some hands-free functionality to your Tesla then it’s just not worth it..Version: 1.2.3

✓ GitHub for support ticket?This app doesn’t work from your watch when you try to unlock your car. I have recorded a video on my watch and wanted to share it however when trying to submit a ticket, the issue tracker takes me to GitHub. Are you asking app users to create a GitHub account and submit the issue, that’s not right! I’ll reach out to Apple support for refund. ✓ Dec 2023 App Has Major IssuesSpent the $20 for the full app, the key doesn’t work. I’ve reached out to tech support several weeks ago, no response. I have the Ultra first gen watch, it will unlock the car, sometimes, but more than once I’ve been standing at the car for over 5 minutes trying to get the app to unlock the car. Extremely frustrating standing at the side of the car and it won’t unlock. I had high hopes based on the reviews, but as of early December 2023, this as doesn’t work well enough to buy it. My car goes through the pairing process, but something isn’t work, as it never allows me to use my watch as the key to actually drive the vehicle. I’ve had the app open on my watch as I walk up to the car, it only unlocks if you hit the button on the watch, it doesn’t unlock like the app on the phone does, and certainly not automatically. I wish this would work, this is a great solution for working out in the gym, and not wanting to bring everything in the gym, or going for a jog, etc. total bummer this doesn’t work, and I hate writing bad reviews, but hopefully it saves someone else from wasting their money..Version: 1.3.12

✓ Doesn’t workPaid for this app and I can’t use it to drive the car ! I can get into the vehicle then asks for card key to enable me to start it. What a pointless app surely it should replace my phone, as I have a cellular watch !! ✓ Live ActivitiesGreat app and all its features. I’m still having trouble with my “live activities” on my Lock Screen with my updated iPhone 14Pro/Apple Watch 8. It works for hours then I see that “lives activities” Watch for Tesla disappeared for hours. It comes and goes by itself. ✓ The app is blank and unable to enter my vehicleDownloaded the app and was very excited to just be able to use with my watch. Sadly the app just says “sleeping” and there is nowhere to wake it or connect a vehicle as the description in the App Store suggests. Complete waste of money..Version: 1.2.3
✓ Good functionality but buggyA big use case for me is turning the climate on as I’m getting ready to leave so the car is prepped when I get there. In older versions you could click on the climate icon in the watch and in the background it would wake up the car and enable climate just as if you had used the tesla app. Newer versions lost this, if you lower your wrist after sending a command the app closes and never sends the command. You have to hold your arm up and wait the 15-30 seconds for the car to wake up and do the operation. This all applies to another common use case: you’re coming out of a store and want to open the gate while walking to the car. Not a huge deal but it also stopped working unless you hold the watch up and stare at it for however long it takes to make the api call to the car via the 300 baud att cellular network they use. The tesla app itself ironically got this right recently: now I just open it and click on climate and it queues the request even if I put the phone down. It was great on the watch, hoping they read their GitHub bug reports at some point and fix this..Version: 1.2.3
✓ Car no longer go into sleep mode even after polling disabled.It's an okay app, unfortunately ever since installing it the car has stopped going into deep sleep mode. I disabled in the app all the background polling option, but that didn't help. After I uninstall the app from both my phone and my watch, TeslaFi showed that the car was back into sleep after 15m after spending 10h idling. So it's definitely this app..Version: 1.1.3
✓ Forced to install‘Forced’ to install this App by the developer’s Watch For Tesla (Watch only) app. The Watch app suddenly started loosing login credentials. Restarting the watch sometimes restored connectivity. Re-entering login credentials also restores connectivity. The error message on the watch said this was because it could not find this app (never before installed or required). After installing this app the watch app has not crashed. It’s not clear if my phone needs to be in contact to stop the watch app crashing. This is a shame as the Watch (only) App was very reliable and worked flawlessly until now. I wanted just the Watch based App so it was independent to my phone to lock, unlock & start my vehicle when I didn’t have my phone. The watch only app looks to have a bug that’s ruining a good solution and forced me to install an app on my phone I did not want. The developer has said the watch app now needs this companion app to authenticate using a new method introduced by Tesla but that previous methods should continue to work. My experience is that the watch app suddenly started loosing credentials until I downloaded this app. Too soon to extrapolate what’s happening..Version: 1.1.1
