Turn toothbrushing into a fun and exciting adventure with Pokémon Smile! Players can partner up with some of their favorite Pokémon to defeat the cavity-causing bacteria and save captured Pokémon. Only by consistently brushing their teeth can they save all the Pokémon, earning the chance to catch them.

Some unlucky Pokémon have been captured by the cavity-causing bacteria inside your mouth! By brushing your teeth, you can defeat these bacteria and save the Pokémon. If you do a great job brushing, you’ll be able to catch the Pokémon you save, too!

■ Completing your Pokédex, collecting Pokémon Caps—there are lots of ways to enjoy Pokémon Smile!

• Pokémon Caps: As you play, you’ll also unlock all kinds of Pokémon Caps—fun and unique hats you can “wear” while brushing!

■ Keep it up to become a Brushing Master!
Regularly brushing your teeth will earn you Brushing Awards. Collect all the Brushing Awards, and become a Brushing Master!

■ Decorate your favorite photos for fun!
While you brush, you can let the game snap a few photos of your great brushing in action. Choose your favorite shot and then have some fun decorating it with a variety of stickers! Keep brushing your teeth daily, and you’ll continue to collect more stickers you can use to decorate your photos.

■ And more useful features!
• Toothbrushing guidance: Players will be guided through the toothbrushing process, helping them to brush all areas of their mouth.
• Notifications: Create up to three reminders a day to notify players when it’s time to brush!
• Duration: Choose how long each toothbrushing session should last: one, two, or three minutes. That way, the needs of users of all ages can be accommodated.
• Support for up to three user profiles, allowing multiple players to save their progress.

✓ Adorable concept!This is such a cute idea to make brushing your teeth fun! I think the diagram of the teeth and where you should be brushing should be updated, though. That 2D diagram looks kind of confusing—if it was a 3D model of teeth, it would definitely help kids understand which side of the teeth would need brushing at which moment during the game. Also, I think it would help if there was some voice acting in it, something that would say “brush your teeth faster!” or “don’t forget to floss!” and phrases like that since if a kid is going to use this app, most likely they aren’t going to be able to quickly read prompts on the screen. I think some voice over would make the game more engaging and fun! This app is a really adorable idea, so I hope they plan for some updates! :).Rebecca R.P.Version: 1.0.0

✓ Very fun!Unlike what this I targeted to, I am almost 18 and here I am playing this. I’m an over brusher and tend to run my gums down by constantly brushing, this game has helped me not do that and I swear my teeth have never been whiter. My only problem is that if you back away from the camera it won’t register your brushing and your partner Pokémon walks around while you try to figure out where the right spot you should be at is. I’ve had a few close catches because the game wasn’t registering my brushing and made me frantically speed up. Overall though, it’s very fun and I would love to see more generations added in the future possibly!.AnikaTrashVersion: 1.0.7

✗ Good idea, need actual testing on target audienceI love the concept, and my 6 yr old was actually excited about brushing his teeth for once. However it doesn’t seem to actually have been play tested on the target audience (younger children) it spend most of the time alerting us that it couldn’t see the toothbrush, or that he wasn’t brushing fast enough, even though he was brushing correctly. We tried again today with me brushing his teeth, with the same message. So now 2 days in, we haven’t even made a Pokemon appear. Needless to say he now isn’t excited about brushing. I also gave it a try and it seemed to pick up an adult brushing ok. Although the Pokemon that appeared immediately broke free, so 4 brushes in and nothing to show, for something aimed at a younger audience it doesn’t really feel like it’s worth playing. Edit: If you don’t actually put the toothbrush in your mouth, just move it back and forward in front of your face, you get 100% catch rate! Defeats the purpose of getting kids to actually brush their teeth, but no more crying child. So now we are brushing teeth properly, without the app, then fake brushing so he can get a Pokemon..Locke52843Version: 1.0.3
