✓ Way to much addsIt’s a good game don’t get me wrong. But, there are way to many adds. The first couple levels. Like 1-12 maybe? It’s only one move to do. ✓ Good idea, poor execution.TL;DR: game has good ideas and potential but it falls really short and falls on its face. The idea of the game as presented in the ads is actually really entertaining, moderately challenging and a good time killer. However! This game is obviously not like the ads in the sense that; - The execution was disappointing for such a simple idea. - The content you see in the ads is locked behind ads, so if you lack patience or just simply don’t want to watch more ads than you already have to. You don’t get to actually have the moderately challenging content. - The rest of the content outside of these “unlockables” is incredibly easy and raises no actual challenge. Making the game boring and one of those “disposable” games. - the ads that advertised the game show rather decent pictures once they’re finished. Yeah uh the game doesn’t actually look that way. While I understand having ads in the app, as it is content someone spent time on and put effort into. The amount of ads is kind of ridiculous. First I opened the game with internet off, there is a designated spot for a bar ad at the bottom of the screen. Leaving a white box there when internet is off. When the internet is on, there’s an ad after *almost* every level, however you burn through the level so fast that... the amount of ads for how quickly the content can be completed is just absurd. There’s no balance and it definitely makes the simple concept turn sour. I think to improve the game they would have to make the images you’re filling in more complex and change the game so that the dropper can only hold one colour at a time. Maybe change the outline around the images as well, the game looks unappealing in its current state. Make the game about shuffling colours around and not just, pick every colour up and put every colour down. At least that could provide a bit of a challenge to make the level feel longer to balance out the ads..Version: 1.7.1
✓ It’s not greatThere are two reasons why I don’t like this game. #1: It’s barely even a game! You just tap a color and then put it in the correct spot. It’s way too easy! The add makes it look difficult, but it’s nothing like it. You can tell where It’s supposed to go, anyways. It!s just copying things! It’s just a tapping puzzle. If you have a brain, you should be able to figure it out right away. Heck, it’s not even a puzzle. #2: This is something that happens with a lot of these types of games. Too many ads!!! There’s literally and ad after every. Single. Level. Most of the time you play this, you’re just watching an ad! Especially because the levels are too dang easy! Also, no. Turning off the WIFI doesn’t work. At least not for me. You can try it, if you want to. I didn’t really mind, and thought that they were probably exaggerating- as they usually do. So I just got the game. All the levels I have played so far, have been mind-numbingly easy, and boring. The only good one I got was a special one that I had to, Yep, you guessed it, watch an advert for. To top it all of, in between the awfully easy levels, there was an advert. I also know that you know the levels are far too easy because you incentivized ads by locking harder levels with ads. ✓ Slow paced and ad filledThis game looked great in the ads. However, upon downloading it and playing it for the first time, I found it... not quite all that was promised. You start with one colour. You pick up the colour, and you drop it in the only other available space. “Okay” I thought, “it’s teaching me the mechanics. This’ll be over soon, 5 levels max.” For 13 levels, you’re given a single colour to move around. And between each of those levels is an ad. I’m not normal against ads. Companies gotta make money. But the puzzles were so simple that I spent more time watching the ads than playing. Sure, there’s the “masterpieces”, which you have to watch ANOTHER ad to play. These basically give you 2 extra colours to play with (my first masterpiece honestly had 3 colours in it, which didn’t really feel worth watching a whole ad). This game feels full of potential. But as I write this review, from level 29 with still only 2 colours in each level, I’m not seeing it. I want it to be good. It seems like a fun way to relax. But you advance excruciatingly slowly, and it feels even slower thanks to the constant ads. I’m probably going to keep playing, but that doesn’t mean I think you should download this game. At at the end, there’s an ad! It’s also very glitchy and laggy. And at level one the only thing there is-is literally one color to put back at it’s spot. The ads are really annoying, some you can’t even tap “x” because there isn’t an “x”. ✓ Time wasting ad farmPaint Dropper is akin to someone’s first Flash game from the early 2000s. It’s cute, it’s simple, and it has few unlockable dropper models based on buying random unlocks, receiving random drops, and unlocking chests with keys you find in levels. That said, there’s only about 80 different pictures to play with; the level will keep going up, but the images start to repeat. The different frames you can “unlock” are also on a cycle, but you can’t freely select them; you’re stuck with the one you have until you fill the meter again and there’s only about 5. And the ads.. oh boy the ads. Every level has an ad afterward. To play the “Masterpiece” levels, you have watch an ad. To receive random drops, you have to watch an ad. These types of games are ad farms, designed with minimal effort to squeeze in every ounce of ad revenue possible. I recommend finding entertainment elsewhere..Version: 1.7.6

There is a thirty second to a minute long add after every single boring level which only takes about ten seconds to solve. ✓ Way to many addsI thought this would be fun and at first it was but then after the first level which took less than five seconds to complete there was an add. I thought it was an annoying coincidence but then I did it again a few more times and adds after every single one and these levels only took five seconds to complete because you only needed two moves. ✓ Awful, NOT a gameThis is not a game. This is a two-tap “puzzle” (if you can even call it that) with zero appeal. There is no strategy, there are no rewards, there is no objective, and on top of that there are far too many ads in between. There appears to be only two types of levels. The first - and most common - type being one simple badly rendered image in which you tap the screen not one but TWO entire times just to complete the “puzzle.” The second type is another badly rendered image but with slightly more detail and three colours. The grating vibration that occurs whenever you tap the screen is obnoxious, and though you can turn off vibration settings I’m not going to alter an entire phone setting for one useless app. Now, the ad problem. FAR too many ads. Yes I get it, you’re desperate for money. Ads in between every single “level” isn’t going to do that for you. In fact, it’s going to make me uninstall the app. QUALITY is better than QUANTITY. You could have a million terrible ads and those would still give you less clicks and money than one or two good ads for actual games.
