✓ Absolutely uselessUPDATE: As of August 25th, 2022 this app officially no longer works without verification with a Chinese (+86) phone number. You cannot even do local training with the hardware you own. The people who suggest this app works must have already had an existing account because if you bought a new cube and are installing this for the first time? Too bad! You just bought a regular Rubik’s cube because there is absolutely no way to create an account or access your cube. I love Gan cubes but at this point their digital products are essentially a scam. ✓ Algorithms are badThis app is amazing because you get to go against other people around the world. But the worst part about it is that when I wanted to learn new algorithms I went to training and most of the algorithms did not work like I wanted to do the advance method and I did the algorithms for the last step they did not make me better because they did NOT work..Version: 3.10
✓ Removed friends and creditWhen I last installed cubestation, I had access to friends and credit. And then I didn't open cubestation and it said I needed to update it. After I did it, I saw that they had removed friends option and credit option. Pls fix this..Version: 4.21.1.2
✓ Cubestation not workingThis app is good, unlike some of the other comments. The app is fine and never crashes for me. If your Cubestation is not working, try uninstall and go to the official Cubestation website.It wasn’t working for me and I tried that. Before you know it, It was working! ✓ Good appI will admit that the initial set up and registration for this app is a little clunky, but after that it is amazing. Once you get used to it, it works great!.Version: 4.26.1.1
✓ Very underratedI really don’t see why everyone hates this app so much. It’s really good and useful for timing yourself on the cube. The app is really responsive and the turning on the cube itself is fantastic. Sometimes (but very rarely), the cube will de-sync, but all you have to do to re-sync it again is solve it, or if you don’t know how, just scan it with your camera! The timer is super customizable, and you can change stuff like the method you’re using to solve it, how it’s scrambled, and so much more! It also gives you full lessons on how to solve it if you’re new to cubing, and you can even hook it up to the GAN robot if you have one. Anyway, the only complaint I have about this app is the sign in. About every month, the next time I log in it will say my session has expired and make me re-login which is super annoying. I’ve also tried to link my phone number but it won’t let me enter an American one. But overall, if you’re looking to buy a GAN cube, spend the extra money on the electronic one. ✓ Cannot register product with the appSo far so good! Took me couple tries to register the product. However when I switch to the chinese language, all my registration in English are gone? The tutorial is not very intuitive. Especially the monster go, very little description of what it actually is . Product syncs well and the views of the cube can be enhanced for beginners to better understand of the orientation of the cube and the different turns.Version: 4.25.1.1

✓ Works just about perfectly for meAlthough there is plenty of room for improvement, the app itself works/syncs perfectly with my Gan 356 i3. I’m by no means an expert, my best solves are low 20s and I mainly use the app for practicing. For this purpose, it works perfectly, I don’t even need to touch the app after I open the timer as it can be reset from the cube. It doesn’t drop connection using an iPhone 11 Pro and the synchronisation to it is instant with no apparent lag. After each solve, it shows my times for each of the CFOP sections, rotations, TPS etc. As for online play, I haven’t done too much of this as I feel I’m not quite much of a challenge at the moment but from the few matches I’ve had, the format worked well..Version: 3.8

✓ Really good but one problemSo, this app is really good, the way you can play online is great. But 2 problems are that you can’t see your PB unless it was a solo solve but if it was against another person you can’t. And when you match online, you either match with someone too good or too bad so it’s hard to get someone on your level. The last one is that you can play online with a non smart cube but people abuse the feature and just click really fast and “get” like a millisecond but don’t actually solve so it’s pretty pointless. But other than that, this is a great app..Version: 3.8
✓ Works wellThis app works very well for me it sometimes glitches and you need to have a good internet connection to use it but I have used its algorithm trainer and it’s solo time and it brought my average down from 22 seconds to 15-14 seconds. It also is good for cubing with friends who are a long ways away. I do recommend this app. BEFORE YOU PERMANENTLY SIGN UP MAKE SURE TO SELECT THE ENGLISH OPTION ON THE PAGE OTHERWISE IT WILL BE IN CHINESE. Overall I definitely recommend this app to all cyberspace beginner and new.Version: 4.26.1.1
✓ Great, most of the time…I got this app and after some fiddling around and trying to log in I figured it out, the app itself is very well done and has helped me bring my average down from 35-40 second solves to 25-30 second solves. The cube does have occasional connection problems with the app. The online system is also pretty fun but it does take a bit of time to start up a match. Overall, there is room for improvement in the app but it works good enough for me..Version: 4.25.1.1

✓ Best smart cube and appI don’t have any of the issues talked about in all these reviews. I went from 5 minute solves to sub 30 in 2 months and all the credit is due to this app. I have the Rubik’s connected as well. This app is better! Ugh, after 70 days of awesomeness I haven’t been able to connect for 2 days. Going crazy! Need this fixed NOW! It says “unable to get server version number” Still can’t get on!!! ✓ Good but a few bugsI love this app, as it is a good tool for training. The cube that goes with it is extremely good and high quality, even having magnets. The app is quite good but it has a few bugs which can be annoying, including that if you try to connect to the app but you have less than around 25% battery (on your iPhone) it won’t connect the cube. I am even typing this while connected to a charger! Otherwise I would highly recommend this to anyone, even if you can’t solve a Rubik’s cube, as the app will teach you. I would give this app 5 stars if it could connect with about 10%,as it is unrealistic for it to connect with less than that. I know that this is a long review, but I think it is worth it to highlight all of the issues and positive information..Version: 3.8

✓ I don’t understand why there are so many bad reviewsI just don’t know why there are so many bad reviews on this app, I mean ya you do have do download some stuff when you open it, but you have to do that for literally EVERY app on the earth. And when the servers are down Then grab your other cube and do stuff on that one, it’s not like its the end of the world or something, and if it disconnects then reconnect it, I mean come on, this app is great and I highly recommend it with or without the smart cube..Version: 3.8
