LeagueApps Play is a team management and communications app that is totally free for players, parents, coaches and staff to download––and it’s ad-free too.
You just need to be registered to a team or tournament supported by LeagueApps to use the Play app to view schedules, RSVP, send communications, and more. Simply sign in to the app with the same email and password credentials used when you registered for the team.
Play helps coaches better manage their teams, communications, games and events—providing a better sports experience for parents and athletes! The app automatically syncs schedules, rosters, tournament brackets, and more, directly from LeagueApps, so there’s no double data entry or extra maintenance required.
Designated Coaches and Staff can use the Play app to:
- Communicate high priority coach notes which will be sent as emails and push notifications, and displayed as alerts in the app (so no one misses them!)
- Create and manage games and events, with instant notifications
- Add custom locations and include external teams when adding games and events

✓ Easy systemEasy to keep track of games and import into own calendar. Easy to use chat within the team. Would be nice if you could send pictures to the team through it..Version: 3.14.1
✓ Good but not greatThis app is good. Everything is easy to navigate. The only downfall is not being able to send pictures/videos though the app. That’s a key part when communicating with parents through the app. There’s so many stuff that needs to be sent out (flyers/ads/gear pictures) but we can’t because that option isn’t there. So that needs to be added to this app asap..Version: 3.14.1

✗ Others are betterThis app offers a way for an organization and team coach to easily contact players, however there are little issues with it that I find annoying. Primarily messages can’t be deleted and they add up. It always seems like there is a new notification (or 30), but in reality they are old messages that have already been opened. For my organization, it does not connect to our Sports Engine accounts for payments. This is a big feature and since we do not utilize it, I’d much prefer a different app..Version: 3.14.1
✗ Don’t like itNot a fan of this app! All of my previous communication that I already sent out to my team through their mobile website has now disappeared! When you send messages it does NOT send to the email boxes of your parents so if they don’t have the app they won’t get your messages. Who has time to create a separate email and enter every one email one by one? NOT ME! Very hard to even find your team information..Version: 3.1.2
