✗ Not suitable for a beginner cellistThe cello is usually taught beginning on the D-string and playing pieces in the key of D major. Contemporary kid-appropriate pieces would b fun. This app has familiar tunes (eg we wish you merry Christmas) beginning on the low C string😆! Way too difficult for a beginner, way to simple for someone proficient enough to play that low... Most of the tunes are suitable for adults, not kids. There is no musical notation to follow (the piano version does include written notes on the staff) so the student is not practising their note reading, or connecting the strings to b played with the notation. The naming of the strings is inconsistent - sometimes the strings have no names, sometimes they are named with letters (C, D, E etc), sometimes they're labelled with solfa names (do, re, mi). So there is nothing consistent to learn in that area either. It's not possible to search pieces alphabetically, or by genre, or by level of difficulty, or by key. So deciding which piece might b useful is tedious. I deleted the app. Hopeless..MissymissCleoVersion: 1.0
