✓ The game mechanics are horrendousYou get a bite from a fish, “Strike” comes up on the screen and when you reel in, you then receive a message stating that the “fish wasn’t hooked” or if you delay for a couple of seconds you receive a “Timed Out” message..Version: 1.0.17

✓ MehLove it on PC I play the snot out of it at home, so I thought oh man it’d be great to bring with me, but mobile is nothing but a headache. And the accounts aren’t linkable between platforms which kinda stinks if you’ve bought premium. On iPhone 12 with WiFi Sometimes it works just fine, sometimes it takes all day to load past the start screen, sometimes it just crashes. Mostly unplayable for me. On mobile at least..Version: 1.0.4

✓ CostThe reason I am writing this review is to bring up the fact that the cost to travel and cost of licenses for the game is more than it should be for some, I feel that the prices should correlate to the level the player is and not the level of the lake, I have numerous lakes open but I can not afford to fish them. The game is very slow to advance in at lower levels. I play on an iPhone and it’s gotten to the point where I don’t play it much because I’m tired of catching the same fish on the same lake I can afford to go to. (The price correlates to the in game money you earn from catch fish not actual money) its an amazing game other than this..Version: 1.0.15

✓ Incomplete gamesOh man I play FishingPlanet on Xbox and I’ve noticed that there is no South America or no condo there is no other event stuff to buy it’s like they just have all the stuff from when the game was released like six years ago. I was expecting a complete game since my Xbox for stolen by a guy named Jason Aaron Brock. And I want to be able to transport my Xbox profile to this game so I don’t have to sit here and spend hundreds of dollars again to get the stuff I had previously. Then this morning I open the app and there it is , the update , I thought great what they adding in there now and of course it said bug fixes , I got to tell you the developers you have made this game irritating to try and play , the game freezes nearly everytime I try and fish now , it’s painfully irritating , plus now the global chat is no longer there so I guess y’all removed that for some strange reason , the chat that is there for the lake your at doesn’t work and it no longer shows peoples catches other than your own. I was trying to play awhile before I gave a review so I could give a fair assessment but as it is right now I was at a 4 and now I’m at a 2 , my suggestion would be put it back like it was before ya messed it up with this latest update.Version: 1.0.5

✓ RecommendationsI love fishing planet as a game and I am happy I found out about it. But I am annoyed that stuff like blue crab lake, Amazonian maze, and maku maku lake isn’t on the phones and that it only goes up to lvl 50. Also I am annoyed about how I can’t sign into my account from my phone on my Xbox and vice versa. It would be a great game if you could log into accounts on a different device because I am not starting a whole new account and wasting the money I spent on this game for a few maps. It would have gotten 5 stars if this wasn’t a problem. So I feel to anyone that is wondering if they should get this game, get it on your PC, Xbox, or PlayStation if you have one cause in the end it’s not worth it on phone..Version: 1.0.4

✓ Very misleadingThis app has so much potential. It is based on a fantastic concept but my goodness does it fall short. I don’t know why you have to sign in every time and have credentials to play a simple game. Also it is slow as molasses to the point where it was slowing down my whole phone. Every time I tried using it my phone froze up and resetting and rebooting it was the only way to get back to normal. Even trying to delete it froze my phone up. I will check back and retry it in a few month but unless some serious edits are made I can’t see me recommending or using this app in the future..Version: 1.0.16
