Since the latest update I can no longer see current data or data over the next few days and there appears to be no way of restoring my previous purchase. It seems that I am now expected to pay for another year and write off the 9 months remaining of my current subscription. ✓ 2 stars for effort.This app does not show nearby hospital zones at 5 km radius. Kind of handy don’t ya think? Because those buildings have things like helicopters. The app wants a premium subscription for up-to-date wind forecast… Really?? For a detailed weather forecast, Apple weather shows many days in advance. My drone is a DJI mini, and the DJI Fly app shows the number of satellites connected. So this app is relegated to the back of the drawer..Version: 2.0.0
✓ Not for a NewbieI’m expecting my first ever drone before the end of the month, so I thought I’d try out this app. Unfortunately, it has little, if any, functionality unless you go “premium,” even with a three day trial period. I’d like to know how it works first before paying. One star. UPDATE: I contacted developer to explain there was not much functionality on the crippled version and was sent a Free Trial code for 1 year. When I tried to redeem, it was expired. Was sent another code, this time for 1 month Free Trial. After spending a few minutes looking at the app, even a 1 month “Free Trial” period does not give you a chance to really try it — I assumed I could have full use of the app to try it out… but nope. And what I could see was not even in the same time zone as me. It was 12 hours out of synch with my time. So I deleted the app and hope I won’t get charged for trying to use it..Version: 1.2.16

✓ Useful, but…This app has all the components to make it useful, but those key components don’t link up. Select a location to check weather and a forecast comes up. Check winds - logic dictates that wind will be predicted at the forecast location, but there is no confirmation of that. As the predicted winds are 180 degrees out from the weather forecast, clearly they are not for the same location. The app will not work without GPS. Few are comfortable at being tracked & GPS has no relevance to checking remote locations. FAA done tests have no relevance in Europe. Why try and sell drones to paying subscribers?.Version: 2.3.1
✓ Misleading “trial”I signed up for a 3 day trial, only to be charged with a 1 week subscription right away. The restricted zones in the app are not accurate nor comprehensive. In that regard the FAA B4UFLY app is better when used in combination with AirMap and Aloft..Version: 1.2.5

The key / legend is blank (being a new pilot I really need this to tell me what the different colours mean) also when selecting the DJI map, nothing appears (as in no coloured no fly zones etc) Emailed the developer with screenshots but got no response so ended the trial and cancelled subscription. ✓ Why BotherWhen you develop an app, the first thing you should do is ask someone who you never met to try it out. If they are successful at navigating it you might be into something. Download was easy - check Registration - no option provided Instructions or tips on app use - no option provided When I put in a location, it was unable to locate, town, city, airport or state - it could not locate the USA so the only next step is to delete the app - so much for Drone Assist.😩.Version: 1.2.1
✓ Waste of moneyThe app’s own map is blank, it never load any overlays or no-fly zones at all, you can only load DJI’s own so basically there is nothing of value other than the wind reports but you can get those on free weather apps. Developer never replied to emails or refund request either. Don’t waste your money on this app, absolute scam..Version: 1.2.11
