✓ Not localized enough.Former WU user, looking for new app. This one has the enhanced satellite I was looking for, but the current and future weather is based on my local airport weather, which is in a different forecast zone and is about 10m miles away. That matters in the Rocky Mountains. Also, the temp doesn’t update very quickly. NOAA weather online has the new temp for the airport at 11:00, but even at 11:10, this app has not updated. Also, the map, while showing where I am located, does not show town names other than the Major Radar sites. ✓ Mike BTried dozens of weather forecasters but haven’t found one I can rely on - including this one ! This morning for instance there’s not a breath of breeze but the forecast is for high winds all day. Some days after consulting it and being told it will rain most of the day I have stayed in only to find we haven’t had a drop ! Now I really don’t know which forecaster to trust. ✓ UselessThis App just doesn’t work where I live (Edinburgh). As a forecasting tool I wouldn’t plan any activity using the advice of the weather forecast on this App. So many times recently the forecast has been found to be totally inaccurate, in fact even the actual current weather is frequently not correct either. I can look out of the window and see what the current weather is but more often than not it differs from the actual weather provided by this App. As I wrote at the beginning, it’s useless..Pars24Version: 2022.15

✓ Poops the bed when it comes to high pressure.Whenever there’s a period of high pressure in the U.K. This app always freaks out, forecasting cloud and fog, even when the satellite images show no such weather. It did this consistently a few weeks ago, forecasting cloud every hour for a whole 5 days, but was completely clear for that period in time. Same issue now. Fog is forecast in an hour, but in an hour it will show clear, and the same thing continues on. Satellite data not matching the forecast. I suppose this is what happens when computers are relied on solely for forecasting. This app used to be so much more accurate top. A real shame..JmskoeVersion: 2023.2.2

✓ Discrepancy and gapsThere always seems to be a discrepancy when advancing the “now” field forward to maximum v how the picture looks when at the start time of the “today” field. In that short time period the position of everything during this gap does not seem to match. Please, please adjust so that the “today” field starts IMMEDIATELY at the end of the adjustable “now” search. We never know what weather to expect around 1 - 3 hours from now. ✓ Pay monthly just to escape being harrassed by ads!?The obnoxious ads ruin the experience of the app. I go to the options to check what the price is to purchase an upgrade to remove them and find out you have to pay a monthly or yearly subscription! The thing that’s unforgivable are the constant “climate change” clickbait news articles that have turned this app into a miserable political space. ✓ Disappointing… cancelled.I was really rooting for this app, but it’s inaccuracies, especially on temperatures has turned me off. It’s wrong 90% of the time for me at my location. I’m having a hard time understanding it, when literally every other app I check is either right on, or ± 1° off. My Weather & Radar app, (paid subscription), is 10° off so much of the time, I can guess what the real temp is, simply by adding 10 to their reading! I’ve also emailed them about the issue, weeks ago, but no response. I’m only ½ way thru the year’s subscription, so maybe it will get better. ✓ Very Sly by the developers.You pay strong money for the App which in fairness is an informative App. However a couple of days after the purchase you are then hit with a load of annoying adverts which you can’t remove unless you pay them more money to upgrade. Also you can no longer zoom in to check your area in clear detail on the map unless you upgrade. Both of these annoying features are not there for the first few days then they arrive later. ✓ Computer models need updating!?I still use this app, but to be honest, since the Covid pandemic started ( and planes weren’t flying etc.) the weather reports ( for our area) are less than accurate. They do OK if the weather is stable but when the weather is changeable, the forecasting proves to be really quite inaccurate at times. I live in Maine et Loire, France and as for time and date, it is a regular occurrence. The actual weather is not what it says it will be. ✓ Not the bestThis app used to be great. I don’t know what’s happened, but I can’t count on it anymore. For example, it’s currently quite windy. But for this day and time the app shows no wind at all however, if I look at the afternoon as a whole rather than the time of day, it shows wind gusts up to 30 miles an hour. So which is it? ✓ Was hopeful, but not anymoreWhy is there no way to set my location to where my home is actually at? I initially set up this app with Port Charlotte, FL as my location, which is correct. But instead, every time I open up the app it is showing me as North Port, FL which is 20-25 minutes away from me. It could be raining in North Port, but not here. This kind of variation in the location is not accurate, so how can the weather be accurate? ✓ Rain completely unpredictableI use the app to check temperature, wind and rain before going out. Temperature and wind seem accurate, but the rain forecast is utterly hopeless. Most days it says 40%, and it remains like that all day, whether it rains or not, even when it looks clear that there isnt going to be any rain for hours. I can’t find any place in the app to check hourly chance of rain other than 90 minutes ahead. Am I missing something? Dark Skies used to give an hourly glimpse of the coming day, so I could gauge if rain was more likely in the morning or afternoon. ✓ Good app, but way to many ads!!!!!!I like everything about your app and I understand that you have to have ads to keep it free. I also understand that you get rid of the ads, if you purchase the ad free version. But frankly, I’m 74 years old and on Social Security and I can’t afford even the $1.99 a month, to get rid of the ads, thanks to my medical bills and prescriptions. But you have way more ads than most other weather apps and frankly, you could get rid of half of them and your app would be less annoying. I know that you won’t do this! I know that you could care less about my financial situation, but I’d be willing to bet that I’m not the only person that feels this way about your constant repeating of your ads. Because of this, I have removed your app from my Home Screen and occasionally I will check your app out, to see if you have have cut back on the amount of ads, that you shove down our throats. ✓ Always inaccurate.Best job in the world: weather forecaster. Why? Because you can fail 100% of the time and not get sacked. This is a perfect parallel with this app. It is almost 100% inaccurate. No doubt they will claim it’s super accurate, but I can state with absolute certainty this is not true. Even an hour in advance it sometimes fails to describe the weather forecast with any accuracy. I looked at my app at 6pm today and it said at 8pm there would be no cloud at all. It’s now 7.45 and it’s cloudy with light rain and the forecast now says 8pm will be rainy. ✓ Was my goto weather appIt’s snowing outside and app shows partly sunny!! Tells the whole story…. This was my goto weather app, but with each update the radar gets slower and slower. Temperatures have been off by as much as 10 degrees F, winds predicted ar 30 mph gusts and there was no wind at all. There’s many functions I like but I’ve sent in requests for minor functionality improvements and feedback on errors with no feedback whereas a year ago I would have had feedback. A lot of stuff I’m not interested in which I’d like to be able to just switch off but it’s also complicated by the ads. I am thinking about paying but not now. Biggest bug is that the map showing current weather radar has minimal number of cities listed. Compare this with an app I have used in the past, weather underground, that’s the level of detail I’d like to see. ✓ Disappointed by incredibly intrusive adverts with no free trial period.As a UK storm-chaser, several things immediately stand out when looking at this app - 1. Weather - check. 2. Radar - Doppler amalgam. 3. Intrusive adverts - grr, most definitely, with *NO* ad-free trial. 1. Actually looks quite good, as weather apps go. I especially like the breakdown of pollen load constituents. 2. I'm looking for an app to that replaces (the apparently abandonware) WeatherPro broken capabilities to display discrete IR and visible satellite images as well as the usual Doppler precipitation overlay. It doesn't. 3. Adverts. Come on guys - not even 15 minutes grace so I could see how the app actually looks - without you slapping huge intrusive adverts all over the place!! I was hoping this app might cover some of the broken functions in WeatherPro. I wanted to see how well it performed over a couple of days to see if it was worth subscribing to, but those overt adverts put me off - I'm not willing to spend money just to assess something properly. ✓ It’s getting a bit confusing!Been very happy with the app for a long time now but recently it’s been letting me down. For example, the overall “day” icon might show sunny intervals and cloudy with little or no chance of rain. But, if you expand the same day icon, it shows thunderstorms in the morning, heavy rain in the afternoon and generally quite windy. This is a rather major inconsistency which leads to much confusion.
