✓ Before it is taken away...I downloaded this app before the censors decide to “cancel” it too. Though my reviews are often cancelled by the powers that be at the App Store. The unique twist is that most of the stories at NTB are in fact real news stories that seem as though they could be satirical. Articles are a broad mix of serious and silly topics - all written in a witty, interesting format (often combining gifs and memes to emphasize the author’s expression). In addition to being a fun place to snag some offbeat news, subscription NTB membership comes with access to a rapidly growing social media community. Fun features include the ability to add friends or simply follow another (this distinction can be used to hide/show aspects of personal info), post gifs/pics/memes, create polls and add or join unique groups (similar to other popular popular platforms). But the thing is inundated with ads, I can’t even read an article without the page skipping and jumping around loading ads.
