✓ GPS IS A JOKEThe GPS doesn’t locate the vehicle. It locates the phone where the app is installed. I tested this by leaving my car at home and riding my bike to the gym. When I arrived at the gym, the app showed that my car was at the gym with me. Everything else on the app tells me exactly what my manufacturer app tells me. Don’t waste your money on this application. Just use the application from your vehicle’s manufacturer..ShanechicagoVersion: 3.3.4

✓ Not great.As others have stated, this app is a good start for what the intentions are. It needs to be developed much more, with The ability to do split screen functions. Also, you don’t get to try anything until you pay money for it, which is a huge downside in my opinion and one of the reasons I will continue to use android apps..Q345q34rVersion: 3.2.3

✓ Good idea but fails miserablyThis app is a good idea but it fails to achieve its goal to make driving safer while still being able to access apps such as music or radio. Most people will want to use a navigation app at the same time as the other features within the app, but Car OS can only act as a launcher for nav apps and therefore all the Car OS functionality disappears when using said nav app. The other problem with the app is it crashes every time a setting is changed. Poor programming and poor functionality, but at least there was a free trial to find these things out. Utter pants!.ChristheclimberVersion: 3.2

✓ Good Idea but useless and very expensive.I took a year’s subscription some weeks ago with the hope it would make make driving, navigating, music etc safer and easier. Far from it. ✓ So near, yet so farWas almost exactly what I was looking for, however: No Amazon Music, no Waze, and the biggest downfall for me is that if you want to use navigation you are taken out of the CarOS app to the actual navigation app, which then means you lose the toolbar from the bottom of the screen. If you can do turn by turn navigation from within CarOS and add Waze and Amazon Music then this will be as close as to proper Carplay as you will get and I would happily pay for it..MattC67890Version: 3.3

✓ Waste of moneyThis app does not work. I paid the subscription fee only to find that every time I try to go to music it closes down. A pain to synch to the head unit and buttons aren’t responding on the head unit - have to use the phone to touch. Unfortunately I lost my money in paying for absolute rubbish. ✓ Great features but defeats the purposeIt’s a nice, smooth app with great features but, when you press the maps icon in Car OS it teleports you to Apple Maps or google maps after inputting the address, completely defeating the purpose of an app like this. ✓ Not so greatI already previously had a unit with CarPlay . This software hardly compares . It gives you a GUI similar to CarPlay but that’s where it ends . There’s nothing simple about navigating the app . It’s a pain to simply get back to the main screen , god forbid you want to switch between music and navigation . It somehow mixes stored music up so artists aren’t with their albums etc … couldn’t even use my own music because the app just jumbled it all up . This shouldn’t be a subscription app it should be a pay once app . It’s actually simpler to just use the phone itself with an aux cable or Bluetooth for music and navigation. ✓ 😕I don’t get it. Why would a “CarPlay” app not be able to do apple or google maps navigation inside of it? It goes to the actual maps apps for navigation. Completely defeats the point of why people would want the app. Hopefully this comes in the next update. Also would be great if the widgets could be edited. ✓ Extremely disappointingTried this app a few years back. Interface has improved however overall functionality and lack thereof is still the same. Promising idea but there is no true navigation implementation in the maps. This makes no sense if I have to switch apps to get functionality. Cancelled subscription again. ✓ Don’t buyWasted 140 bucks on a chance to use my iPad as CarPlay on my motorcycle for navigation and a one stop shop for all apps in one place. I was wrong. You can you the map on the screen, however in order to navigate you have to use another app to do so. Kinda of ruins the whole one app deal.
