✓ Great visuals but could improveI love how the App is so simple and minimalistic. Great illustrative visuals super calm and love you can connect to Apple Music. Maybe later we could have a option to connect to Spotify too? The only suggestion I will make is: could we automatically turn on the focus mode on our phone as well? I only wish there was a way to visually see how many mountains you’ve climbed, or have a different mountain type/different area. ✓ Great app but too expensive nowI bought it when it’s $4.99 and thought it’s already pretty pricey but I enjoyed it as it’s a great focus app, plus the cute and artistic look and vibe. I recommended to me friend but found out it’s $9.99 now. It’s way too much for students, the majority who needs a focus timer. Allows you to take a minimal break during your session on demand - useful if you get interrupted a lot, and doesn’t punish you by wasting the whole pomodoro. I managed to prime my 3yo niece to only interrupt me when the seal is sleeping, and not to interrupt me while it’s climbing! It’s super effective. The animation are soothing and relaxing, and quite effective!.Version: 2.2.1

✓ The only absolute favorite focus app I needI have been through a couple of focus apps and none of them really stick. Either being too plain or basic, but this app surpassed that. What makes this app different is the first hand feel of studying together with a true companion. Where your picked character is going on a journey and you are working hard alongside. Where both of you are supporting each other through the thin and thick. While still fairly new, I am very excited to see all of the possible amazing features that are yet to come out. The music is incredible, the animations are breath taking, the timers are precise, and so on. Would be nice if we could interact with other users of the app along with more options for free users!.Version: 2.3.0

✓ Good for tracking study time!I’ve been looking for a study app that tracks how long I study for (like a stopwatch), instead of timer, and this is perfect! Imo, timers make me feel forced to study for a certain amount of time, but stopwatches help to actually track my progress without feeling the guilt of not completing a study session. The graphics are also adorable and the soundtrack is very calming :).Version: 2.2.1
✓ So close to perfect!SO good so far, I love everything— the art, the music, the functionality, it’s all wonderful!! There are a few things that would take it from good to great. First, a Lock Screen widget so I could start a focus timer from the Lock Screen, that would be a game changer! Second, I wish there was some way to set it to block apps or force you to put down your phone, like if your phone isn’t down it will cancel the timer. Third, I’d love if there was a feature for some kind of negative consequence for a cancelled timer. Of course you could turn this feature on or off so those who don’t want that don’t have it :) As a bonus, I’d love to see stats for what time of day was most productive, and be able to rate how productive or distracted you were at the end of each session. Most of all, please please please make the Lock Screen widget for convenient timer starting!! It would make a huge difference!!!! Thank you for the wonderful app!.Version: 2.4.0

✓ I love this app!!I have recently started studying from home while managing a job at the same time and I have always been terrible at managing my time! Until this app! I have tried a few focus timing apps and they are all good in terms of what they’re meant to do, time your study sessions but FocusTraveller has that something extra! As someone who enjoys aesthetics ~ the illustrations and graphics are so fun! But not distracting! I love that you can pick your characters and also join up with friends to climb to the peak together! Also the fact that you can connect Spotify or Apple Music to the app so you can change songs within the app is so good! (I do wish the music would continue playing after the study session ends though~ but not a big issue) Only thing I would add is a timed break at the end of each study to help me manage my breaks a little better, like a classic pomodoro would! And also I wish there was a free trial of the premium features because I would love to try before I commit ~ because I am very close to buying the premium haha ! Overall great app!!!.Version: 2.4.0

I love the visual aspect of this Pomodoro productivity timer app because it’s not just the timer and it helps to visualize how you’re continuously working. The characters are all so cute as well. ✓ Beautiful app—would be perfect with some adjustments!Just want to start off by saying that the graphics and sound effects are beautiful. I love the simple yet authentic style of the art. The app really sticks to its theme—it's calming and not distracting, but engaging enough to motivate people to focus. Perfect for people who want a focus app that's cuter and a little more engaging than the usual focus timer apps you'd see out there! Here are some suggestions I have: - More widget options. It would be great to be able to see the weekly focus chart as a widget, or maybe even a progress bar or something of our journey up the mountain. This way, we'd be able to see how much work we've done. It's nice to be able to visualize your week's progress. - If possible, I feel that it would be more convenient for most if friends could join your focus session at any time. It's hard to coordinate times to start a group study session with friends you don't see in person, and waiting for friends to join you wastes time. It'd be lovely if we could see a list of our friends and click to join their focus session even if it's been some time after they started it. - I think this is a bug: I noticed that if we choose the "Deep Focus" option, we're unable to even turn off our phones. If I turn off my phone, it goes into rest mode. Deep Focus causes the display to be on for the entire time, but I don't want this, especially as this would drain my battery. To add on, I just wanted to point out some typos: - In the focus screen when you first click in, "What do you like to focus on now?" should say "What would you like to focus on now?" - When you first start the session, the brief loading screen says "Take a deep breathe...and focus" but should say "Take a deep breath... and focus" with a space after the ellipses - When you try to end the focus, it says "End The Focus" but should say "End the Focus" and the message under it, "This is will end your focus session" should say "This will end your focus session".Version: 2.2.1
✓ Missing Time, Unresponsive Customer Support UPDATEWhen I first downloaded this app, I was really excited! I could tell that this app was made with lots of love, and I was okay purchasing it since I knew the profit went to a passionate dev team. Everything was going great at first, but at some point the app had stopped consistently tracking my hours. I thought it was a one time thing or I may have done something to my phone that has cancelled the timer, but even if I put my phone to sleep (pressing the power button, not holding it and shutting it off) sometimes it will still cancel my timer. There is no prompt when it does so. There have been many times where I’ve been in the zone and working for 2+ hours. The widget timer is still going strong, but when I go over to the app, I’m at the starting screen and my 2+ hours haven’t been logged. It’s just a very frustrating thing to deal with, especially since that is the sole purpose of the app. Reached out to customer support 2-3x (with screenshots attached) explaining the issue, but no one has gotten back to me. I want to love this app and give it a 5-stars, but as of right now I just can’t. TL;DR. Good app and started off strong, but app randomly stopped consistently logging hours. Customer support has yet to get back to me about anything. UPDATE: Someone from the dev team reached out to me and gave me an update on the issue, in addition to two free characters (Corgi and Catty)! Thus, I have changed my review to 5-stars. Although the issue is not fully resolved, the dev team is actively working on fixing the issue and they were very generous and respectful. Will be purchasing more characters in the future to support them :).Version: 1.9.2
