✓ Importing family members isn’t easy!Importing family members from contacts straight off someone’s name on the tree is NOT easy. It’s taking me much longer than it should (about 5 minutes per person) to import my family members, because it’s so complicated..Alarson94Version: 10.2.3

✓ Waste of £29.99Bought with one specific purpose, to split my tree held GEDCOM file into smaller sub trees. The Remove Subtree feature sounded like the perfect solution. Loaded my GEDCOM containing 700+ people, proceeded to configure the Remove Subtree feature, hit the button and bang, the app simply crashes. Reloaded it to find nothing has happened, re-tried multiple times, each time reducing the volume of people that would be removed in the hope it was a memory related issue, but all without success. Raised a support ticket which has so far gone unanswered. Thinking there may be something dodgy within my GEDCOM file, I created a new tree from scratch within this app, this consisted of just 4 people across 3 generations. Configured Remove Subtree again to remove 2 of the 4 people, hit the button thinking surely this much simplified arrangement would actually work. Sadly, no it doesn’t, the app just crashes as it has done on every attempt. This is not a great experience, can see why there is no trial or ‘lite’ version offered in the store, as if there was, I certainly wouldn’t have parted with £29.99 on this experience. In it’s current state this app is unfit for purpose and in any other walk of life I would be marching into the shop to demand a refund. If anyone from the authors actually reads these reviews, please can I request you either fix it promptly or give me a full refund..Inflatable DartboardVersion: 10.2.2

✓ Increasing frustration with useThe more I use the software, the more frustrated I am. The first big issue is the software inability to connect properly to my Google drive. For example, if I attach a picture everything is fine however, everytime I’m trying to repeatedly attach pictures, the software is not loading the picture anymore. I have to exit the software, wait a minute, and the try again. After attaching 3 more pictures, the same problem happens. The second big issue is the fact that there is no UNDO button. Say you erase a paragraph by mistake, you’ll have to rewrite the whole thing. The third big issue, and I have to scratch my head with this one; Why is it that I can attach a jpg, a pdf to a record but I CANNOT attach a simple txt file????? Finally, there is NO button within the software to report bugs to developper…. These are all issues that I did not experience with my other software..NanoutziVersion: 10.1.1

✓ Crash many times in finding locationNice APP in general but the geolocation database is out-dated and search engine for location is very poor. You have to try too many times to find a place and it easily crashes when you are searching for a place. ✓ GoodI like this app but they need to have the option of exporting as a pdf or any image file like Jpg or png so we can easily print out our family tree without having to go and download other software to open the file. ✓ Issues !1. I downloaded this app as soon as it became available, and I understood there was to be a 50% introductory discount on the price. However, I have been charged the full purchase price of £12.99 ! 2. I tried to change the displays in the ‘Charts’ option (different background, font etc.). ✓ Uploading GEDI uploaded my GED file from Ancestry and it keeps asking me for the media file, but Ancestry only has 1 file when you export. I have no idea yet if any of my hard worked media got uploaded as UNFORTUNATELY, I get the request to write a review BEFORE I even get to look at my tree. You should wait at least 24 hours after an upload to ask for a review..MD922Version: 10.2

✓ An App Far Behind OthersSaw the update today 4/11/22. I still don’t see a dark mode. This makes you the absolute last genealogy app NOT to offer it. ✓ Best family tree app to save cross platform data to but doesnt syncBest platform for visual, family trees and adding more data than just the bare minimum, especially if you’re a close living relative or using local geneologicallr national archive records. However, it’s part of the Mormon site FamilySearch - but doesn’t sync your tree or data to their desktop site or mobile app even though it’s the same login!.Danielle_lyraVersion: 10.2.2
