✓ Lacking FeaturesBiggest disappointment is that its only sunsets and not sunrises. So if you’re serious about catching good light (aka someone who is paying for an app…) then this app just gets you half of what you are looking for. You’re paying for the “forecast”, but it doesn’t forecast more than a few hours out. Doesn’t seem to support notifications which seems like a basic feature for a paid app. If conditions are gonna be good I should be able to have it send a notification. A more important feature than widget support. I like the wording and descriptions it has, but overall it’s simplistic to a fault. ✓ Overpriced for functionality$2 dollars per month for annual, 4 dollars if billed monthly? I’d rather pay 4 dollars a year for each iOS update, just doesn’t make sense. App worked okay in NYC, gave only semi accurate results. Halide was fine because I could buy a real license and had tons of functionality. This can be replaced by opening your window and checking outside at this point. ✓ Show me the money …I respect the need for developers to meet ongoing server costs, but the app flow seems unwelcoming and almost jarring, requiring an immediate commitment to subscribe without first being able to experience the app. I don’t consider starting a trial as an acceptable consumer-friendly option in this situation either. I’d like to see a one-time payment option for a “dumbed down” version of the app which uses traditional Golden Hour mechanics (like other such apps on the App Store), with an option to subscribe to the more advanced / dynamic features..S N KhanVersion: 1.0.6

✓ Fine but wishing for a lifetime licenseHonestly it’s a good app with a great UI. Well considered. I’m disappointed that there are only subscription pricing options though. I assume this is due to the weather data pricing (are you hitting Apple weather’s API cap?) but it would be more user friendly to explain why the price is what it is so it feels more reasonable even if everything makes sense to charge for. ✓ OverpricedIt’s a neat concept and it looks very nice, but $4/month is much too expensive for such a limited utility. I get that it’s doing different things than Lumy, but the data is obfuscated in such a way that it feels less useful to me than just knowing the times and weather conditions. ✓ Another shameless cash grabAs title states; this is another shameless cash grab by the same team that bait & switched people into paying for a "pro" camera app with rudimentary features that can't compare with the existing iOS Pro camera apps into paying a extortionate pricing substitution. ‍ Same thing with this app, there are hundreds of existing apps doing the same thing but they'll trick you into paying another extortionately priced subscription for a mediocre copycat app. Really sad.Rhythmnation2054Version: 1.0.8

✓ Needs moreI beta tested this and found that this app doesn’t provide nearly enough functionality to justify paying for a subscription. The “predictions” regarding the golden hour quality are laughable at best. Pro tip: your weather app mostly like will tell you when sunrise/sunset is. ✓ Don’t waste your moneyFigured I would try this out with the one week trial to see if it was any good. After the first few nights I could see that it was useless. One night it said there would be a “spectacular” sunset. I went outside to check and it was nothing but gray haze. The other days it said sunset would be “good” and it was similarly underwhelming. ✓ Very basic for a sub appI get why this is a subscription because of the services required to get the data but it really isn’t worth it. You get three very basic data points for the current day and that’s it. There is no forecasts so there is zero use for planning photo shoots. It looks nice but very little info and a monthly/yearly sub just makes zero sense. It feels like it should be a paid add-on for an existing weather/planning app not a standalone one.
