✓ The update ruined the appI haven’t read the Quran in a long time but this app has made it easy for me to start reading again Alhamdullilah Salaam- 30/01/24- I wrote the above review some time ago and I have just updated the app and you have changed it so much that it is now difficult for me to read. I preferred it page by page but now that it’s in a list, I find it harder to read. I played around with the setting and if I choose to change it to book, it doesn’t show the transliteration. How do I revert back because now I have lost where I was with my reading. Majority of it now says I have read it when I haven’t. Anytime I scroll down it marks it as read.. whereas before it gave me option to select whether I have read the page or not. Please help as this has update has made it so difficult.Version: 5.0.01

✓ TrashFirst, if you want a better non leech app, download Al-Quran Tafsir by word, has a planning feature and NO ADs (it’s light green, you will recognize the difference immediately). There are a few more but of course hard to find in the App Store due to apps like this one. Imagine reading Quran and a quick books ad interrupts. Then when you opened the app, an add for some random service. I made the mistake in updating the app during the HOLY MONTH OF RAMADAN, these developers know people will use the app more, so instead of their annoying upgrade add, now you get bombarded with random ads that have nothing to do with islam or literally anything. To me, you all have sold yourself to greed especially with the incredible change during Ramadan. It’s actually sickening. Overall trash app in my opinion. There has got to be another way for y’all to make some money off the month of Ramadan, this is not it. The other upgrade ad, I was annoyed by but didn’t mind, I actually considered upgrading as I’ve upgraded a different et app. This is joining the laundry list of “Quran apps” that have taken this greedy leech route..Version: 2.2

✓ App is brokenThe Ai feature doesn’t work also the ad service is miss leading, the Ai always gives the same response. It always answers “-“ to every question. Also it pops up with an ad saying watch a video to get another three free questions but only provides one. Also i didn’t like how you asked for a rating asap. Literally as soon as i opened the app before i could even use any features or even had a chance to actually use the app you asked for a rating and compared peoples rating to duas from god. Bit of a weird thing to say. Got no issue with you generating feedback but begging for good ratings just seems kinda sleezy. Also feels like the app isn’t delivering on what its meant to be. You have good ideas and if they worked probably would be a good app but the only feature that really works is the quran part which let’s face it, there lots of simple E quran apps out there and the goal feature is convenient but thats it really just seems like a standard quran app with a few extra broken features. ✓ It was better before the updateI used to love this app because during Ramadan I’d aim to meet a Khatam goal and it was easy because this app used to flick like pages. When one page was done you swipe and you can keep track of how many pages. Last Ramadan I achieved my khatam goal with this app as I was doing 20 pages a day and could keep track of it. I couldn’t find an app like it so I was rly happy when I did. Now, it’s the average scrolling down type of Quran app which is a bit disappointing.Version: 5.0.0

✓ So far no goodIf you are new to the Quran and don’t speak Arabic it’s difficult to follow along. I like that they have the phonetic version of the characters but they don’t highlight the words so as the reciter goes on I get lost. Also it just keeps going instead of going back to the section I tap on so I can find my place. It’s disappointing as I would like to read the Quran and learn about Islam. Books like this can be intimidating (I’ve read the entire Bible only once and that was with the help of an app that I could read along with in my native language) so I hoped this would help, but it’s more intimidating than reading the Bible..Version: 4.1.0
