✓ Lacking a lot of features and seems half baked esp for a paid appThe app is a lackluster companion to the books and lacks many features/ease of use of similars apps like Nara Baby or Huckleberry. As a new mom with a premie newborn, I was hoping for an app as great as the books. While the notifications are nice, the ‘scheduler’ is lackluster at best- there is no way to offset the set schedule they’ve made by a few hours unless I recreate an entire new one, which can’t be saved to the next stage. I’d like to follow the MOC guidelines, but this makes it very difficult and is more trouble than it’s worth. In addition, I’m unable to log in ML or tap for formula/BM/BF to track feedings. There’s also no way to log for adjusted age which is frustrating. In addition, the activities on the schedule are either misrepresented in the information or don’t add any value to the process and seem like the developer just forgot to add the information and check their work. Won’t be using past the free trial, if there is even a way to be refunded….Pmost87Version: 1.0.30

✓ Great app but having issuesI’ve had this app for 4 few weeks now as it was suggested by a family member and have been diligently following the schedule with my 8 week old. I’ve absolutely loved it and swear by it but the app has totally glitched and freezes every time I try to get into it now. I reached out to the support team at MOC online and praying they can resolve the issues so I can access the app since it will be updating to an 8 week old schedule now. ✓ Needs to be betterThe most frustrating thing is the inability to edit feedings or diapers once logged. Sometimes I log it and accidentally put the time wrong or want to put in a note after logging and the app freezes and doesn’t let me save the edits. It’s incredibly annoying because then it’s all inaccurate. I also wish you could record amount of food in mls especially when just starting out for pumpers. The final thing is the app is not straightforward in getting started and not adaptable or any blogs/recommendations for premature babies. We do not have a baby who’s close to having “playtime” and trying to customize your own schedule is not easy. Love the recommendations but definitely needs work and would not recommend till the editing bugs are resolved.Meghanc19Version: 1.0.33

✓ Disappointed in MOCAs much as I loved Moms on Call, this app is an absolute ripoff. This is a maybe a $5 app (like, a one time payment of $3), not $3.99/month. The features in the app are nice, especially for infants. The knowledge center didn’t actually open when I tried. Even if it did work, it is just the blog posts from the website so use your phone’s browser. ✓ Worst glitchy app ever - don’t buyI really liked the concept and I was willing to pay overpriced schedule on monthly subscription ($3.99 per month!? - it should be at the most just one time payment less than $5) The app stopped working on the first day - I cannot go back and see the schedule and from there nothing works. I tried everything to restore the app, deleting and reinstalling, signing up with different email addresses, updating iOS software, restarting the phone, using it on iPad, etc. It simply doesn’t work anymore. So frustrating I wasted so much time on this rather simple contents. The app is so bad, and everything is linked to additional $$ paid contents, I simply am done with it!! ✓ Constant glitchI can appreciate the concept but it’s just not useful. It’s stressful. I inputted my children’s info. When I went to track feeding and sleep it won’t let you edit to input correct end times. I clicked on the scheduler and it just keeps “thinking” and nothing comes up no matter how long I waited. And I was unable to click on anything else once I clicked on the scheduler. It was just stuck there. I even deleted the app and reinstalled and the same issue persisted. If these issues didn’t exist and I could actually make use of the app, then maybe it would be worth it. ✓ Not compatible with a breastfed babyThere is an option to customize a baby’s schedule but the feeds are limited to a certain amount which is far under what frequency an average exclusively breastfed baby eats. ✓ Good program, bad appWe love MOC program — I have been using it since our child’s birth. He’s now 12 months old - he sleeps through the night and naps like a champ! However, the app leaves MUCH to be desired. It’s SUPER buggy, it lacks tons of information, and it’s vague in the descriptions and details for each section or tab and the wrong info is matched up with the wrong activity sometimes. ✓ Lots of room for improvementI started using this app because everyone I spoke with before I had my baby LOVED MOC. Swore by it. And I assumed the app would be an awesome supplement to the book. Unfortunately the app isn’t very intuitive, it doesn’t provide a summary view, interactivity doesn’t make a lot of sense. I made my decision to no longer use the all on the 8th day, so I ended up paying for it for the whole year and won’t be using it. I’ve instead followed the MOC methodology as closely as possible but have used an alternative app for tracking and visualizing my baby’s schedule / day. ✓ I want my money backThis app is horribly developed and needs some serious work. We love Moms on Call, but this app just isn’t it. Trust me now— save your money and just buy the book and find another app to track your diapers and feedings. The feeding timer often glitches out on its own and you aren’t able to track your feed. And worst of all for me is that you can’t really set your own pace. I have a preemie who needed to go at a slightly slower pace (which we determined through the help of Moms on Call), but this app doesn’t give you an easy way to go at your own pace. It will only let you move forward to a new schedule when you are prompted to, so even when you try to “see next schedule” it won’t show you the one after the one you are on, but rather the one after the one it thinks you should be on. So since I couldn’t move ahead to the next schedule until two weeks after I needed to when the app finally prompted me to, I was accidentally looking at the 8-16 week schedule for my preemie (whose adjusted age was 1-2 weeks), instead of being able to see the 4-8 week schedule. ✓ Great concept and lots of upsides but buggyI love MOC and the schedules. The app notifications are a HUGE upside! However, there is some room for improvement. I added an additional child’s profile and then deleted it as the child’s age exceeds the program’s age range. I’m still getting notifications for the now-deleted child. When I go to preview the next schedule, to which I’d like to transition, upon clicking on an activity, I get a description for the wrong activity. I’m hopeful the activity info will load correctly when I officially move to that schedule. Lastly, I clicked on App Support to provide feedback/troubleshoot these issues only to get sent to a webpage with testimonials and products for sale.
