No Automatic ReaderIt’s a paid app. Automatic Reader View should be an option..Version: 3.1.3

Constantly CrashesI am integrating three services, inoreader, pinboard, and instapaper, but the app constantly crashes. Seems to happen after I added my pinboard account.Version: 3.0.2

Wallabag sync brokenThe app looks clean and powerful, and I was looking forward to subscribing to add more accounts. However, the first service I tried (Wallabag) got hung up almost immediately with a sync error. If I receive a reply from the devs and manage to get it working, I'll revisit, but for now it seems like sync, the most fundamental feature, doesn't work right 😭.Version: 3.1.7

Kind of half-bakedYou can read snippits or ad-riddled pages. Probably better to just use Safari. Reader mode is available for $20, but it’s free in Safari..Version: 3.1.10

Lots of potential - free version too bare bones.Would be really nice if the free version had some slighly extended functionality. Not paying the monthly fee. I'd be cool with a one-time free. Will continute looking elsewhere..Version: 3.0.5

Can't do anything with it.I can't add multiple folders. It doesn't sync to my phone or ipad. Seems like such a good app and can't do anything with it. Sent an email to the support email, and nothing..Version: 3.1.10

Older version far superiorVersion 2 had a much crisper interface on macOS, but main feature lost for me is smart folders, until thery're back version 3 is kind of not that much use….Version: 3.0.4

Great app, zero supportIn my experience, the developer is unlikely to respond to support requests or feedback. I've used the app off and on since its earlier days, with the glasses and newspaper icon. Also, it's great that the app can act as a Pinboard client, but it doesn't use Pinboard's recommended API key for logging in, and hasn't responded to requests for including that as an option..Version: 3.1.3

Good app, greedy devs!Love the app but hate the fact the greedy devs turned it into a subscription based app and piss off all the people who paid for it already. Then to top it all they put a notification in the app I PAID for saying to update to this rip off!.Version: 3.0.4

Not as good as the Mac versionI’ve subscribed but mainly for the outstanding Mac version. This iOS version feels limited and sluggish compared to an alternative universal RSS reader. Needs many more customisation options and faster swiping before it becomes my favourite on this platform..Version: 3.0.4

It only allows one thing before you have to pay.It only allows one thing before you have to pay, which is a pain..Version: 3.0.7

No iCloud SyncNo iCloud Sync.Version: 3.1.1

Lot of potential but not quite ready to replace the alternativesI tried this app out for the free trial period and overall it has a lot going for it. There is much in the design that is reminiscent of Reeder, but is missing some of the design language that I've grown accustomed to. That alone isn't a deal-breaker, this app should be allowed to succeed on its own merits, but where it really falls short is in the basic expectations of a reader. For one, despite choosing background refresh, this app never picked up updates from my miniflux server. I always had to manually refresh to see what's new in my rss feeds. It also lacks some of the integrations that I would expect for it's read later service like being able to tag links that I share with it. Overall it seems like this app could be something great, but not until some of these major issues are addressed..Version: 3.1.6

Good native RSS reader in an overcrowded market.Good for what it does but nothing to separate it from the competition. I was hoping that it would have an integrated read it later section and option to highlight and annotate text. Unfortunately it only allows you to link to external read it later services to send articles there. I'll have to go back to electron web apps that offer more features like built in annotation, newsletter management and even podcast playing..Version: 3.1.9

吃相难看吃相难看.Version: 3.0.3

Works with ttrssBut is a bit too simple. Lacks support for a lot of ttrss functionality like labels and filtered views. Also needs a pull up to mark as read. Default to source article per feed would also be great, but double tap is ok for now. Would give 5 stars for just this as the app is prettty decent as is. Really appreciate it offers a lifetime purchase option unlike all other apps like fiery feeds. I’m not looking to have a payroll for developers. Pay once and then for upgrades as needed is better. If you’ve got good stuff in an upgrade I’ll pay. If not why would I?.Version: 3.0.5

What about those who purchased readkit ios app?I purchased the iOS version about a year ago,now its gone..Version: 3.0

Good, but rough around the edgesI like the user experience compared to Reeder, but I am finding lots of rough edges where things don't work well or at all. For a paid version 3.x, this is unacceptable. Currently can only cautiously recommend, sorry..Version: 3.1.1

No widgetsThis app doesn't have widgets. I used to use this one, now switched to Newsify.Version: 3.1.10

Very confusing to useI found this in an App Store feature article, and I was wondering if it was a good alternative to NetNewsWire. But it's actually very confusing to set up; the settings don't make sense because I don't know which ones are where; the big text and images take up space and feel like they distract from finding and reading the articles; and switching to viewing only unread articles hides my RSS sources, which doesn't make sense. It's also annoying that a basic feature like importing from an OPML file is locked behind a paywall. Best to stick with NetNewsWire..Version: 3.0.5

The app is beautiful, but...Why am I been forced to choose between light and dark mode? I normally read with a sepia background. I am willing to pay for the lifetime subscription. Can you please consider adding more options in this regard?.Version: 3.1.5

I got nagged for a reviewDon't nag me for reviews.Version: 3.1.1

PotentialI think this has the potential to be the best RSS Reader out there....But...In order to read the entire article withi the app, you have to pay for the premium features. Ok, that's fine. But when I did the free trial, and then attempted to read the enire article within the app, it only brought in the top 1/8th of the article for numerous feeds. It's a shame..Version: 3.1.3

Good, BUTI prefer the user interface of ReadKit over, say, Reeder BUT I can't recommend ReadKit because there are so many rough edges that obstruct my use daily. When using an external News Reader Service the Premium restrictions are applied inconsistently: you can add a subscription but you can't assign a category, you cannot edit a subscription, but you can unsubscribe from one. So there's only partial support without Premium, which is not disclosed..Version: 3.1.1

不管老用户老用户不如狗.Version: 3.1.1

Developer unresponsiveGood alternative to Newsify and Reeder but with need for some minor fixes: 1. Reading and article doesn’t mark it as read and there is no gesture to mark all as read (eg, swiping down) 2. Background sync is random; many times it doesn’t happen for a long interval and it’s as if the app updates when it decides to. The Mac version can specify the sync interval so why can’t the iOS version? 3. Embedded tweets don’t display in the web view I’ve reached out to the developer multiple times and have never heard back. The main advantage of this over Newsify (which has some advantages) is the seemingly built-in content blocker support that fixes some problematic ads on various sites. ADDENDUM: I deleted the app. Never ever got any response from the developer and there were too many bugs on iPadOS and iOS (different bugs on each OS) and I’d rather use an app like Newsify that is well supported and works well..Version: 3.1.4

Version 3.1.1: OK reader app and how to make it betterNOTE: This review is about the free version. PROS: Support for dark mode, which is easier on the eyes. Regular updates to squash bugs and improve the app. HOW TO MAKE IT BETTER: Allow us to import our feeds from another reader without upgrading to Premium - I ain’t importing all my feeds manually. If you want us to pay for Premium, it would help if the app showed us the prices. CONCLUSION: An OK RSS app - but if you want us to use the free version enough to consider upgrading to premium, add the option to import our feeds. If you liked this review, please mark it as “helpful.”.Version: 3.1.2

No iCloud supportBeen looking at alternatives to Reeder. I thought Readkit was a worthy competitor other than the fact that it has no iCloud support. This app needs iCloud support..Version: 3.1.5
