Joon Pet Game for Positive User Reviews

Very effective! We were having trouble with our foster child getting into a good routine and habits without making them feel bossed around and this was a great way to encourage good habits and stay motivated. All my kids love this app and enjoy it and I don’t feel like I’m hounding them about every little thing.Version: 3.06

So fun!I love this version so much more than the other version. It has cuter Doters, better food, and you get to create a garden! I do want to know if the Crystals are still around. In the old version you could buy crystals to change your doter’s color. And how do you buy records to change the music? Other than those things, best game ever!.Version: 2.105

Add more.Okay. I love this game. The only problem is that there's not a lot of fun stuff to do. I have an idea for a cool update. Well first I want every animal to like have a animal sound when you take care of them, and I would like you to add a playful button. So you can buy toys from the shop and teach then tricks. And play with them. Also I want you to add more clothing to the shop. Thank you!.Version: 2.104

Child behavior did a total 180!I was a little reluctant to “gamify” our lives, especially because we limit tv and game time, but it’s a remarkable change so far. I have adhd and it’s pretty likely that one or both of my sons have it (ages 5 and 8), and with our younger one it was getting really frustrating with even basic stuff like getting dressed being a huge struggle. Since I introduced the game it is like night and day. He still falters every once in a while but it’s really improved his behavior and in turn our home lives. My older son who is usually pretty good with chores loves the game aspect (agree that they could keep developing that) and it has helped motivate him with more challenging tasks like practicing piano. I agree with another adhd parent who said it’s helpful for us because I don’t have to make up my whole system for chores, rewards, etc. I hope they come up with more games - I think academic games like word puzzles could be a fun option! Parents who are struggling with their kids getting into routines and structure should definitely check this app out!.Version: 3.12

EggLove this app! I’m having trouble hatching my egg, it keeps loading and doesn’t move to the next step..Version: 2.108

Helps with motivationI home school my kids and was having a hard time motivating me and myself. This app is great. They love completing quests and getting coins. I have them do their schoolwork in the morning first thing so they can take care of their pets. Once your child has taken care of three doters (creatures) in order to get a new egg they have to put a doter into the bank. My kids don’t want to do this but I don’t see them being able to take more than three doters at a time. Also told them they can probably trade out that doter for their other adult doters. I explained their adult doter is in college now or has a job..Version: 3.11

My kids love this app.I have 5 kids. None of them have ADHD but I’ve seen a real turn around in their motivation to take care of their business around the house. The quests in the app work like a to-do list and my kids, who I normally have to nag, are suddenly setting an alarm, getting ready for school, being mindful of the time so we leave on time (they have a quest to be ready for school and out the door by 7:45) it’s made mornings easier and for that I’m grateful. They love the game, earning coins to buy things and seeing their collection grow. I’m pleased and highly recommend this app to other parents..Version: 2.106

I’m so happy! This is probably my favorite thing to get me to do what I need to do! The best part is that I can write something down and get coins for it [ it’s a quest]. It’s not just chores, it’s mental health like write down what makes you happy, stretch or PT[ fiscal therapy] for three minutes ec. There are so many dotters. And you can extange game coins for real life ones, new toy, robux gift cards or ice cream! I wish your able to go explore with your dotter, there’s not much to do..Version: 2.1097

Love this game!I am 10 and I just love it but just needs more updates and more option but anyways so fun..Version: 2.104

So good! This app has true love you revolutionized our kiddos skills and chores. Both our Neurodiverse a and neurotypical kiddos are completing chores and goals without being asked for the first time! The adult app and kid game are both well designed and well thought out. Thank you so much!.Version: 3.11

Fun app !This app really helps me even without adhd (idek if I have it or not) and it truly is awesome ! It’s a great way to make your kids to their chores and contribute ! However, one of my rewards is “$10 allowance” for 300 coins. I had been saving up when out of nowhere, it took 20 of my coins and I was left with 284. Please fix this, I hope it doesn’t happen to anyone else !.Version: 3.05

Amazing app! Highly recommend!!!I seriously cannot praise this app and it’s developers enough! I’m so thrilled to have this app. I have ADHD and most of my kids show signs (some more than others) but haven’t been diagnosed yet. My 4 kids (ages elementary, preschool and toddler) love it and it’s so motivating to them! We homeschool and they get to mark off their homework subjects, health habits, chores, and other tasks on Joon as well as saving up their coins for special rewards specific to our family that I get to create (like a no thank you to one chore, a trip to the library or a trip to our local children’s museum etc). The basic building blocks of the game are in place, but the developers are invested in making it even more amazing and are constantly listening to user feedback and improving/adding more features! It keeps getting better and I’m so excited to be a part of watching such a powerful tool develop. Thank you!!!!!! ((Cross posted on both the parent and kids app)).Version: 2.106

Thought it would get old, but I was wrong!I was a little skeptical at first. Seemed too simple. The kids were excited but I totally expected it to wear off for them, but it hasn’t yet! I also love it because having ADHD myself, it’s easy, simple to use and I don’t have to come up with my own chore and rewards system. I can keep it as simple or an complex as I want to. So win for everyone all around. The more they play, the more they unlock and the more fun they have. And it keeps getting better and better with the updates! As a parent, I was hesitant to allow my kids even more screen time but this has proven to actually help them learn healthy screen time as well! It was an unexpected pro..Version: 2.1097

Could be better.Hi I think Joon pet game could be better if you lowered the price for the app for parents because after a few days you have to pay like 90$ for the game..Version: 2.106

Mostly greatHas helped my son quite a lot! The doters, eggs, and points system is terrific. The quests are great and gives my son incentive to work in a routine which is hard for him with ADHD. However, Still a bit glitchy, often have issues with the app not turning on or loading, even if I reset, delete and reupload. Once the preliminary issues are fixed I think it will be a great app..Version: 2.0

Love it and I am a kid!!!!!!This game gets me motivated and when I go to school I am so focused and also when I go to hockey and lacrosse i’m always on it so yeah five stars!!!!!!!!!!!!.Version: 2.108

Best thing ever!!I have ADHD and it helps my kids with all of their chores..Version: 3.12

My 10 & 6 yr olds LOVE this appMy 10 yr old is gifted/ADHD and my 6 yr old is ASD1 and it's a hit for them both! I downloaded this app last week and my kids were collecting rewards right away! The best part was after 3 days I realized I wasn't nagging or "reminding" them to do their routines. They were so excited to play. The key is to make mourning, afternoon & night routines solid and anything else they *need* to do assign to "anytime" then lock the game unless they complete their daily routines. They can't play without finishing and without parent's approval that the routine was actually done. It's great. No bribes, no nagging, no money changes hands as a reward. The reward is the game!.Version: 1.8

My kids really love this app.We have been playing for about two weeks. The kids ask to use the app so they can complete their quests multiple times a day. We had to make a “Joon time” of day. They are motivated and excited, most of the time. Often times I sit next to them and watch them play their game, take care of their pets and explore. I wish there was an adult version! Also, I love the sounds the animals make and their little movements..Version: 2.106

Expensive subscriptionI like the idea but it’s a pretty expensive annual subscription.Version: 3.03

Good I guessOverall a good game, however i fee that my pets get hungry or low energy very quickly.Version: 1.8

AmazingI think this is good you should play it! It turns boring chores into fun!.Version: 1.6

Amazing customer serviceKids love the game and have been asking me to approve tasks when complete. Whenever I have contacted tech support issues have been fixed straight away. Very happy.Version: 2.1098

No more excuses for accidentally forgettingThis app has motivated my kids to do chores without being told. They simply go down their individual assigned quest. I’m more organized now than ever and everything is getting done. No more excuses for accidentally forgetting . Once their chores are completed I review and give credits. They then have an aggressive upon amount of time to care for their pets and spend their credits or scroll through the site. I have an 11 yr old , 7 yr old and they help their 4 yr old little brother..Version: 3.04

Use ItI started using Joon abt a couple months ago and boy, I am waking up with my alarm, getting ready in the morning, and in general behaving better, well in my pov. And I have ADHD and everyone else with ADHD can probably relate, IT WAS SO HARD TO FOLLOW DIRECTIONS AND REMEMBER. So my mom and dad got me Joon. My therapist said “well what happens when it gets old” my response was “Joon will NEVER get old for me!” And Joon Inc., can you make like something that costs me one hundred coins to like make a outfit? Or maybe for 1000 coins to color your doter? I feel like that will make kids just wanna do this even more! I would appreciate if you looked this over and thanks for an amazing app for ADHD, autism, and ODD kids!.Version: 3.06

Tips! It’s an awesome game, and I did not just put it at 5⭐️ to get noticed. Here are some suggestions: Add on a new world, there is still room on the map. More pets, maybe a bug like one, make sure it’s cute. That’s all, the game rules, bye!.Version: 3.15

Some welcome and unwelcome changesMy kids love the new region. But they didn’t know what expeditions were so when they sent one of their dotas on one all they knew was that their dota would be gone for 4 hours which they found upsetting. I had to look at the change log to find out that they would bring back a reward. The kids were still sceptical as they didn’t know what form the reward would take. Some in-game explanation might be useful. My kids are pretty neurodivergent so this might not apply to all kids but they found the changed sounds upsetting and want to got back to the old sounds. Sorry for the bits of negativity. We love the app overall..Version: 2.106

To JoonCan we have an update where you can pick a pet and then you go oh I don’t like this and you can ACTUALLY change it without having to get to level five!? Honestly I picked the wrong pet and now I have to wait UNTIL I GET TO LEVEL FIVE!!!! If you are very impatient and like to sleep a lot this is not the game for you. Thank you for reading or listening? No it’s not listening cuz you can’t hear me in real life so thank you for reading. Goodbye. But seriously can you fix this?.Version: 2.108

WidgetI think this will be awesome to have as a widget so I can remind myself when to do when I see it on my phone other than that I love Joon and love using it for long time now!.Version: 2.1097

ProblemThere is a problem with egg hatching. When I tap on it it just stays on the loading screen forever.Version: 2.1098

HelloHow do I get that Godzilla looking doter?.Version: 2.105

Happy with this appI was hesitant at first with the price tag and decided to do a monthly membership in case my kids get bored with it. So far they have loved it and are excited to earn coins for their pets. I hope they keep it up because it’s helping this mama out..Version: 2.105

It really helps! But the app performance needs workThis really works. My kids are now excited to do chores. I paid the yearly fee to keep using it. However, the pet game that the kids get to use is constantly freezing and crashing. And they are getting frustrated. Please fix!.Version: 3.0

Amazing, but the new update has a MAJOR glitch!!!Love it, but over the past 4 days, i have been getting a lot of doters, when they hatch, it says they will be an Ahoot, but i end up getting a Purrkles, Polair, and a Scorplio. I kinda wonder what those other islands are with the “?”. I hope u add more doters, food, items, games, and islands!.Version: 2.108

Excellent customer serviceMy child absolutely loves the game! she could never focus and would often fall out of a routine but now she’s loving it, i actually had an issue and a glitch within the game therefore I emailed Brad (I assume he is the developer) and I got such a lovely friendly and very human response and got the problem fixed! You can tell a lot of passion has gone into this game and I am very thankful for the team behind this game ♡.Version: 3.0

Works WondersI’ve never seen my son so committed to his daily routine and chores. This app works wonders for my neurodivergent superstar!.Version: 3.09
