✓ TRY READING DESCRIPTIONSo many people on here slagging off because it doesn't work on iPod.... The description says it's for iPhone and Laptop!! Therefore if you buy it for use on a device it's clearly not for then you are simply an idiot! Anyway, very happy iPhone user from the UK here who has NO PROBLEM with the app despite living in rural area with closest major town 26 miles away.... ✓ Excellent. Makes life easier and cheaper.If you want to find an open WiFi hotspot with your iPhone, you depend on the built-in wireless scanner (in Settings/WiFi). It has a very limited range, it will only show hotspots with a 20 feet radius or so. With this tool, you can find hotspots in a much larger range, it will also list them if they're a mile away, because it uses GPS. You can also find free access points abroad, it allows you to manually browse the countries and cities. This is a real moneysaver, because you can avoid those outrageous roaming charges from AT&T. I've given it 4 stars since it looks like a good app....just maybe not for my area. It does cover other cities around Toronto and some places within the city....just not around the airport..Version: 0
