• Change strobe display colors to accommodate different lighting environments or set a preferred user color for those with limited color palette recognition.

Use the built-in mic on your device for tuning or connect directly via the headphone jack using an approved adaptor cable or interface.

✓ An Amazing Tuner - Best App Yet!I was so excited to find that I could use my iphone as a tuner, and tried several of the apps available but couldn't believe it when I saw Peterson has made the StroboSoft. This has got to be the best app I've found yet! I spend around $450AUD on a Strobostomp Pedal Tuner (makes this 'expensive' app look very cheap) for guitar and am so very happy with it (it's always on the pedalboard, has mute switch, DI etc) Now have the same (If not better) tuning accuracy on the palm of my hands. I actually prefer the readout on the iphone Strobosoft and having the readout displaying the accuracy to +-0.1 cent (+ = # sharp & - = b flat) is a vast improvement on the strobostomp & any other tuner I've encountered, and it re-centers itself depending on its orientation (very nice!). Obviously no problems seeing it in the dark! It is however missing some of the sweetened tunings and Buzz Feiten Tuning system settings. Perhaps it's a licensing issue or will come out in future versions. Seeing the Hz moving along with the cents would be a nice addition. I work as a guitar teacher, performer & technician (as well as being involved with & playing many different instruments) and will be using this for the vast majority of tuning jobs I have! Makes tuning a students guitar a pleasure! It's going to be great for setting the action and intonation on instruments. It'll be interesting to see how it goes on the timpani in orchestra... the noise filter may be a lot of help! Thanks Peterson for making this iphone worth the investment! ✗ Not a free updateMy purchased 2014 version of this app was not compatible with my 2019 ipad. I was forced to buy the current version. No gained functionality, just an additional 13.99. ✗ Accordion SweetnersI find the base app excellent and can’t add anything to existing reviews. The Accordion Sweeteners however proved very disappointing. Aside from “Cajun” about which I know little, there are three sweeteners for tuning three banks of treble reeds, ie a sharp set, a flat set and for the middle set you tune to concert pitch. That’s a pretty simple approach but so be it. My gripe is that the three fixed settings give you (in cents): “Dry”: -0.5 / 0 / +0.5 “Medium”: -1.5 / 0 / +1.5 “Wet”: -25 / 0 / +25 Those who know will understand the severe tuning limitations given the above. I wish I’d saved my $14.95..TaknaVersion: 2.98
