✓ Grateful that this app existsI first installed this app on my iPhone 4 and I am as pleased with it now, on my iPhone SE, as I was then. I'm grateful for the ease of searching and the ability to readily switch between versions to gain a different / improved interpretation. So often my grasp of the meaning in one version is difficult, so to be able to readily look at it in another is extremely helpful. I currently have five versions of the Bible on my iPhone: NIV, GNT, MSG, KJV & the Voice. I love the opportunity of hearing whilst following it on screen, of being able to copy verses and/or highlight them. I am also grateful for the recent addition of the verse of the day and daily devotional. I'm not at my best first thing in the morning, and sometimes I forget or need to skip a quiet time because I run out of time. With more than a dozen versions of Holy scripture at my fingertips I am never without biblical sources all while using a single device. There are dozens of bible study and commentary resources also available from Tecarta and I find these most helpful as well. ✓ Translations please!!Overall this is a fantastic Bible App, for the iPhone that is. For the iPad it definetely needs a "NIV 1984" translation like the iPhone version. There is a available online translation for this however you must always be connected to the internet, and the link to downloading this in-app translation is broken. The highlights and memory are so useful for sermons at short notice. ✓ Tecarta bibleThis is probably the best bible app I have seen for use in church. You can very quickly move to various scripture references and it is so easy to take notes. Simply create a new note and start typing. You can toggle between your notes and the scripture passages you are studying. There is also a concordance to search words and phrases. I took a chance on this as I wanted an NIV bible on my iPod touch and the others were quite a bit more. It's great! Quite intuitive and it is easy to navigate from book to book. The words of Christ in red is nice as is the general formatting where paragraphs are defined and it is not just one long list of verses clumped together. ✓ Obvious?Just downloaded the niv study bible ..... For the second time, like another reviewer. No matter, perhaps I misunderstood the instructions. But now I can't get this version to load at all. Av fine, Amplified, fine NIV fine but not the NIV study bible. Asks you if you want it with or without study content ( why would you buy it if you didn't want the study content as I believe the App already had the NIV within it?) but then defaults to another version. For those frustrating times when you can remember part of a verse but are stumped about where to find it. ✓ Brilliant Bible AppBefore buying this app I did some searching around. I tried many of the free and lite apps on the market but none of them seemed to hit the mark. So I took the plunge and brought this. I can happily say I have no regrets in buying this app. For me it does everything. Search for verses, make notes and with the last update I can now save my notes to the apps own free cloud service. This came in handy as I had to reinstall my iPad which lost all my notes but put app back on and resigned into the cloud service and all my notes back. Sweat. God bless the minds that can make these cool programmes. Also being some with dyslexia this app is great. You change change the text to white with a background and font sizes. ✓ Wonderful way of reading and studying the BibleThis is a very convenient way to always have a Bible with me, and because it's electronic I can change the translation I'm reading at will - I've bought at least half a dozen translations, which, while they're expensive compared to a typical app, are much cheaper than a paper Bible (and much lighter!). I've also bought a translation with a concordance (New American Standard with Strong's Concordance) which usually I use the side by side view with another translation. This means I can very quickly look up a word or name to see more about what it means and jump to other places where it's used. And jump back again. I have a study Bible as well and the notes can be used alongside any translation not just the one it's intended for, which is great. Moving around the Bible is easy as well, either using book/chapter/verse or the app's search function. You can use translations etc that you've bought on one device on any of your other devices e.g. On your phone. You have to go through the in app purchase process again but you don't pay for it - it says you've already bought it and downloads it without extra charge. I'm very pleased with this app and use it as my main Bible now..Version: 7.11.2

I like the change to highlights and margin notes, and the way I can easily go back to a previous passage I was reading that is not on chronological order but in order of what I was reading last. I like the flip between text and notes, but wish there was a way to differentiate between verses copied into notes and my notes themselves. A different font or colour should do the trick. It’s my go to bible every Sunday because I can flip to the right passage fast enough but I don’t lose any conveniences I had with my actual bible like being able to take notes and highlight verses. Therefore, I have found myself returning to this app over and over again. ✓ Great appI have been using this app for at least a year now and I greatly appreciate it, why? Because it is easy to use and to quickly get to where you want in the chapters of the bible. There are a few things that can be improved, eg when you highlight the verse you want you have only 4 colours to chose from, also if I would like to highlight only half the verse but it's not possible. Also it would be great if there was a possibility to have it audio! With a British accent rather than American or if there was to have a choice of the two. ✓ Bible library in your pocketThis is a great app so you can have your bible and other resources at your finger tips, on your phone or device. I have used the app to read from cover to cover, with the assistance of the study notes and commentaries, both at home and whilst travelling. I haven't utilised the devotional a, but the 'verse of the day' can be a handy focus, to bring you back to God's word as a regular part of your day. The only annoying part that I have found so far is the links in the study notes are activated inadvertently when scrolling. A little too sensitive and hard to avoid, especially on a phone screen..Version: 7.11.7

✓ Awesome new versionI’ve been using this app daily for many years and so appreciate all the attention to detail. The new features and content continue to make it better. I particularly like being able to read multiple translations side by side along with commentaries. Being able to sync highlights and notes between my iPhone and iPad is great.
