TripIt: Travel Planner for Positive User Reviews

FabulousI have been using this App for years and I love it. I love being able to share plans with family and friends. I love the calendar interaction and I love seeing everything in one place. The only thing I don't love is not being able to update trip photos in the App, you have to go to TripIt online for this. Very annoying and not mobile friendly. Other than that, love everything else. Well done guys..Version: 16.2.0

Indispensable.Once again Tripit has paid for itself in spades. I've used this for years and it reliably notifies of flight changes well before any airline does; usually delays/cancellations, but crucially today, a flight moved forwards. Also gives options for alternative flights to get out of somewhere when a flight is cancelled/delayed. Today I am on a QR flight from Australia to Europe booked BC by Amex. Neither of them informed me the flight was rescheduled 2 hours earlier. If not for the Tripit notification I'll would have arrived at the airport to find the flight had left. I called Amex and had to have the flight re-ticketed to get on the plane. Lousy service by Amex and QR of course but Tripit saved the day and many thousands of dollars. Get the Pro version; the few bucks spent are well worth it..Version: 9.6.0

Love TripItEven though TripIt has been around for awhile it is still the app I rate as one of the most useful ever. I still get a kick out of being able to forward confirmation emails to my plan and have them appear as if by magic. It’s also a fabulous record of past trips..Version: 12.5.0

Brilliant Travel AppHave uses this app for complex multi-country travel and it is brilliant. Flexible, intuitive and clever. Don’t leave home without it.Version: 17.6.0

Great AppIt is a great App. I love it..Version: 17.5.0

HORRIBLEMy husband created an itinerary for our trip to the US. He invited myself and my daughter to view it and be able to make changes. Sounds like a grand idea. Except! It won’t let me create my account. One email address it says there is maintenance going on, so I tried with Facebook keeps saying that I have blocked it, except I have never used the app or known anyone else who has so not sure what that’s about. Tried a different email and I keep getting a error that it can’t activate the email address, so tried my last option email and I get the same error. Have now run out of email addresses to try and can’t login using any of them. So I will not be sharing the itinerary for our trip unless we use another app. After following the instructions provided by your help department, I am still unable to use the app to login and sync our itinerary. I can use the website, but the app still says that my password is incorrect. I have uninstalled and restarted my phone and installed again, still no joy. We have decided to use a different app..Version: 12.3.0

Favorite AppI travel often both for business and with my big family. This has been a game changer. Not to have to print out anything and have everything in order with added details on telephone numbers, weather, directions links. besides the ease of just forwarding play tickets, car rentals, hotel and flights, it takes a cruise itinerary and put some in the correct day saying where you’re going and when you get off to the ports and when you have to be back on the ship etc. So excellent. A side benefit I found now that I’ve been using it for 10 years is I have a whole travel journal right here in the app. Can look up previous hotels, miscellaneous companies used for transportation and whatever. Request for the developers: when I have a listing of flights etc. (particularly for more than one person), the apps at-a-glance screen does not have the name listed. So you have to go into that plan and scroll down and Click under passengers and in that page it’ll show you who the reservation is for. It would be much more convenient to have the name on the first or second line for a quick reference..Version: 17.0.1

IndispensableTripIt is a genuinely useful app that is critical for any traveller. Share itinerary with fellow travellers or just have a single place to keep all of your plans. The ability to forward booking confirmation details makes it super easy to add data. The only reason it loses a star is for a very “cluttered” interface when adding data and because it’s surprisingly difficult to add just an “attraction” without the app trying to treat it like some kind of dining event or whatever..Version: 14.1.0

OrganizedEasily edited travel agenda keeps you organized.Version: 16.7.0

Trip essentialFirstly - I rarely, if ever, write reviews. But this app warrants it. I love it and geek out on putting together my itinerary for work or pleasure. Love how it auto syncs tickets and the rest you just fill in - super simple. A must have for any trip. Thanks to the devs for creating such an awesome tool!.Version: 17.2.0

Great for price reduction alerts and check in remindersIf you’re a frequent traveler, this is for you! The free subscription is great to keep track of your travel plans, especially when coordinating plans with other people. The You can link your email account and TripIt will monitor automatically for me reservations or you can simply forward reservations to an email address to be added to you itineraries. The pro subscription it worth the money. It monitors for price drops in fairs - this has already paid for it self a few times over for me! It will reminder you to check in to your flight 24 hours and 5 minutes from your flight. This is great if you fly southwest and don’t have auto-check-in status..Version: 14.4.0

Great app but just double check dates and arrival times.Keeps track of bookings so accurately Love it. Amazing how much easier it makes my travel..Version: 17.4.0

My fav app!I’m obsessed with this app and tell all my friends about it. I traveled for 6 weeks and it was a lifesaver! Never any issues ✨.Version: 12.5.0

50 Shades of AwesomeWas reluctant to take on another app at works request but this one changed my world. Suddenly travel was easy - I could access my hotels, flight references and check in without having to dig up airline websites are carry even more apps. Pleasantly surprised. Never gonna not live the no TripIt life again..Version: 12.1.0

Excellent AppHave been using this app for several years now. Excellent. What would be a good addition (unless it is there and I have missed it) is a copy option to repeat a previous entry into the same trip. I can see you can copy into a new trip but I can’t find an option to copy the same information to the next day for example or to another location in the same travel itinerary. I often just add an activity with nothing more than a title of LEISURE for when I dont have a specific thing planned at the time of creating the itinerary. For example staying in one location for seven days and I just create the LEISURE activity title for each of the seven days. It would be great to create one and say be able to copy that entry forward for several days. Another Suggestion: Option to move the entire trip to new dates for those occaisons where you need to cancel but still want to take the trip exactly as created but on a later start date. Auto adjusting all dates would be useful. COVID19 is a great example of having to cancel now but want to do the exact trip in the future. Great App though and I use it all the time for all our travel, business and pleasure..Version: 12.5.0

Great App!Love this app. Everything in one place, all in order. I add emails that are related to various parts of my travel, arrangements confirmed with transportation companies or restaurants, proof of prices confirmed etc. No looking through old emails or trying to find paperwork. Flight info is very detailed. Reminders that pop up are handy. This app makes travel stress free..Version: 10.5.0

Perfect way to organize travels!I’ve been using this app for 2 years. My husband and I travel a few times a year and have found that this app is our “go to” way to organize ourselves. We can share the itinerary with each other and our friends and family super easy. It’s a perfect way to track as much or as little details as needed. I love how easy it is to reference and especially love the clean print out I can print!!! I do wish there was an easier way (cleaner way) to track expenses for reference or an option to include in the final summary. There is an area where you can add total cost under “Booking info” ... currently I’ve been adding under “Notes” so it will show up easier. We have not found anything better than this app to coordinate, track, record and share our trip info..Version: 11.1.1

Would give it five stars if it didn’t have a limit on attachmentsThis is a really great app and for the annual price happy to pay it for what it offers. I also like the new look of it all. Only one feedback I have which I do hope they fix is that there is a limit of 25 attachments for the entire trip. If you’re doing a really big trip, it means you then need to save your tickets or files into another drive to access rather than having all in the one TripIt app. I do hope they fix this as other than that, the app is really awesome. I would recommend it to anyone who is a type type traveller and loves to stay organised. Cheers.Version: 17.6.0

Tripit is unbelievableI don’t know what we would do without Tripit. Just our last trip, waiting in an airport restaurant, we sat next to a couple who was headed out on an extended trip. Eventually she got out her “file”. You know what it was. A printout of every email and snail mail confirmation she’d received for their trip. It had to be 2” thick. She rifled through the pages looking for the answer to her partner’s question. Outrageous. It’s like I’ve often told my wife about auto GPS’s, “it’s a good thing they were invented because it was just getting to the point where we could not possibly keep up with the twists and turns of the highway system.” Well we couldn’t possibly keep track of all our travel plans either. With all the changes, delays, incentives, connections, delays, gate changes, travel would be a nightmare. Like my car gps, I no longer try to figure out the route, i just take the turns it tells me to take. Same with TripIt. It’s like having a personal concierge at my side making the right decisions for me and telling me where to go when. Awesome app, get the picture?.Version: 12.2.1

Won't leave home without itFantastic app, have used to manage all travel with complex itineraries for 2 years now. Has saved me $ by helping identify mismatched booking dates and locations. Won't leave home without it. Thanks Tripit!.Version: 11.1.1

Essential for Business TravellersI’ve been using TripIt for years now for my business travel, and have come to rely on it for keeping my trips organised. Unlike other apps, this has never let me down, and has given me early notification of issues before the airlines published anything..Version: 11.1.1

Love itOrganising a special birthday celebration trip . We are flying out to Qatar staying to visit family for a couple days then on to Hong Kong for a 10 day cruise ending in Singapore. I’ve organised all the hotels including an overnight in Bangkok and all the tours . This is just such an easy way of keeping all the confirmations together. The level of info that it provides is impressive. Just love it..Version: 12.2.1

Great appKeeps all Info handy. So easy..Version: 10.1.0

Life before Tripit? How did we ever cope with itinerary planning and execution before Tripit? I recall screeds of paper documents, tickets with carbon paper copies, booking confirmations and screeds of other things to remember. Gotta love Tripit - a truly reliable travel companion..Version: 10.3.0

A useful tool to keep you updated - UpdateI had been using World Mate until it was withdrawn from the market. Was at first reluctant to use TripIt pro but after a week I couldn't remember all the flights, rental cars and hotels booked by our travel department. So I enrolled and was pleasantly surprised. Timely push notifications. Timely reminders. Accurate notifications. What more could one ask? After all it's not supposed to travel for you. You still have to do your due diligence. I have now been using TripIt Pro for over a year. It is my fundamental go-to for all things related to travel. Want a gps-driven map? Press the address of the hotel you’re booked at. Want to be updated on gate changes? TripIt Pro sends you push notifications with latest information..Version: 11.4.0

Love it!Have been using TripIt for the last 6 holidays so far. It’s so easy to add plans such as flights, accommodation, car rental, maps and city tours. No need to print out itineraries as we just email our plans to family at home. Appreciate the auto-fill function when adding flight numbers. Also, eateries, ATMs and local features can be accessed through the map function. Will happily keep using TripIt into the future..Version: 12.3.0

All my travel info in one place!I love this app, without needing to do much it auto collects all my travel info from emails and creates ‘trips’. I have everything from flight times to booking references all in one place. I also enjoy looking through all my old trips to remember where I’ve been..Version: 10.1.0

Works really well during Covid-19This is the best trip assistant app ever!!! I’ve been using this app from when they launched and always loved it so far. In this COVID-19 situation traveling is not the same. Flights gets canceled, rerouted, delayed all kinds of things happen. This is what just happened. Delta canceled one of my international flights. I found this out because TripIt warned me. Delta never mentioned anything to me. I’m a “Diamond, one million miler” status but Delta never notified anything. When I got the flight cancellation notice from TripIt and nothing from Delta I almost thought TripIt might have made a mistake. I logged into Delta web page and site enough my international flight was canceled. I was able to switch to alternative route so I’m ok but I’m amazed by the promptness and accuracy it TripIt. I already could not trace without TripIt. Now I can’t even plan without TripIt. Love this app !!!.Version: 12.7.0

Love itEasy to use and keep all plans together..Version: 17.5.0

Compact trip report; daily planner and PALove trip it! Rediscovered after a few years not travelling. 45 days of travel across 7 countries correlated with ease; allows for easy import of travel confirmations as well as customisable entries and reminders; stores data transfers it can’t interpret for review. Smooth and seamless with over 20 transport transfers (plane ferry train bus ) and 50+ activities (concerts theatre festivals and day to day travel reminders).Version: 17.7.0

Superb travel plannerWhen you make complex travel plans far ahead, it’s great to be able to keep your whole itinerary in one place (actually two places, as the app is synced to the website, so your travel details are safe whatever happens). You can add and edit details of flights, train tickets, hotel reservations, restaurants, sightseeing excursions, you name it, either through the app itself or via the Tripit website. You can also give Tripit permission to scan your emails (or manually forward them to Tripit), and it’ll automatically detect booking confirmations and add them. The whole thing then appears as a neat itinerary, so it’s easy to check you have every step covered or look up your flight number. You can even invite contacts to share a trip, either as planners, travellers, or viewers. This is all a million times better than the old system of printing everything out, stuffing it in an envelope and losing it, or else manually typing it into a poorly structured spreadsheet which you can’t easily read on your phone..Version: 10.5.0

Handy for big tripsThis app took a little bit to set up and figure out. But once I had figured out how to find my way around it, it’s a great planning tool. I’ve planned 4 weeks through Italy including flights, accommodation, trains, guided tours and even a Broadway Musical with this app... it keeps everything in order (you can adjust the check in/check out times for hotels so you can see transport between stops in the right order) very handy.Version: 11.6.1

Vacation made easyKeeps me very organised for my trips/vacation. I plan ahead activities and locations for my holidays and this app makes it so so easy to go on holidays with every activity, place, and map recorded all in one place. You could also add all associated tickets and bookings for your trips on it. Thereby making everything for your trip handy and on the go. You could also share your travel itinerary with a list of activities, times and locations to anyone. Highly recommend this!.Version: 16.7.0

Great appAll your travel info together in one place. I have used this app over the past couple of years and have found it a wonderful resource. Keeping all my travel plans in one easy to use app. Flights, hotel, tours and car bookings. Times, dates, flight details, contact info and even passport details can be stored in the app. When you make a travel booking it automatically picks up the details from your email account and adds the booking to the TripIt app. Other details can be added manually like contact details for tours etc. Also the app alerts you of delayed flights ,time changes and gate changes. A must have for me when traveling..Version: 17.5.0

Travel companionPerfect travel companion - less i need to remember lose or stress about.Version: 17.3.0

Best itinerary app everBeen using TripIt since 2017. So easy to use, fully automated and some great functionality. Just keeps getting better every year. Absolutely invaluable during long trips, finding addresses and calling hotels/AirBnBs prior to arrival..Version: 17.6.1

Very impressedWow. What a fabulous and easy to use tool. I love the add ons for the pro version. So much extra info and tips. The neighbourhood safety rating was not necessarily a good idea as it may put people off. I have already recommended this app to others..Version: 10.5.0

Very handyMakes organizing complex itineraries easy. Very practical tool..Version: 18.1.0

Very useful to keep on top of complex tripsMakes it very easy to understand exactly where you are going on what date. We have lots of very complex trips involving allsorts of multiple hotel bookings, car Rentals, connecting flights and trains this certainly brings everything together..Version: 16.2.0

Such a helpful travel toolTripit is a great way to keep track of trips and plans . It gives you options for tracking flights, hotels, and transportation. Logging all confirmation numbers for everything that is booked.Version: 17.2.0

The best travel app by far!I have used a number of travel apps over the many years for both extensive personal and professional travel and Tripit is by far the most comprehensive, accurate, and ubiquitous application for organizing all of my travel plans. I use the free version of TripIt for several years and then paid for the Pro version due to the extensive features that were available. Regardless of what platform I am on, I can get my data, add or edit it as necessary and can forward it to other interested persons. I can usually forward my travel plans to other Tripit users as well as sending them by email. Gate change information is often faster than I receive from various airlines. Hands down the best available travel app on the market..Version: 17.5.0

No Tripit No TravelI’ve been using Tripit for over 10 years, the pro version for at least half of that. There’s a reason why an app still exists after 10 years: it has become part of life for people who travel. Finally after over a year because of Covid affecting travel I get to use it again!.Version: 16.1.0

Would give this 5 stars “BUT”This is a great app but notifications drive you nuts and you cant select which ones you would like to get and which ones you dont want. For example if you want flight change delay or gate change notifications but not other notifications like booking received or Check-in starting you cant select between them. Then you get a text and in app notification for the same thing at the same time. Drives you nuts if you travel all the time..Version: 9.6.0

A must have for any traveler!I use TripIt for myself, my family and my boss. It’s a fantastic way to very easily keep track of all your reservations and plans. The visual layout is very clear and I also love that you can share full itineraries with others!.Version: 17.7.0

Excellent AppPerfect for keeping my business and personal travel itineraries together in one place!.Version: 18.2.0

TripIt is my “Go to” for planning and seeing big trips!I’ve been using TripIt for several years no - snd just love it. When we take big vacations there can be LOTS of bookings all associated with the trip. This app (and its website version) allows me to take all of my confirmation emails from various bookings (flights, rental cars, hotels, paid side trips, etc.,) and send them to be entered chronologically into my one trip itinerary. Each day I can look at it and follow along with it being the repository of ALL the details of those bookings (times, dates, addresses, seat assignments, confirmation #s ) in just one place. Obviously you can keep your printed copy of all that as supporting documentation. But this keeps it almost paperless. Lastly you can edit any entry w/ extra info if it makes something clearer , or you can even hand enter anything that doesn’t have s corresponding email. We love it and depend on it! Thanks TripIt!👍.Version: 17.0.1

I do love this AppA Friend put me onto TripIt and I have used it religiously for the past 3 years. I love that I can add viewers to my itinerary so my friends know where I and where they can contact me. Having all the info contained in one app just makes it so much easier. Love love it. I so want to reward the developers by purchasing the pro version (even though the free version contains all I need) but seriously guys $77 PER YEAR. It puts it out of my reach. Drop the price by 60% or make it a lifetime membership and I’m all yours. In closing thank you for this App.Version: 11.7.0

TripIt - getting organisedMy perfect way to organise my travel is to have everything recorded on tripit, which endures I get up to date Gate snd drparture times. In combination with google trips which gives me plan options to choose from these two tools are invaluable. I’m over 60 now and can get a bit forgetful so helpful to have everything in one place snd I appreciate how easy and intuitive it is to use these tools..Version: 11.6.1

Must have appMy wife and I have been using this essential App for at least the last eleven years, it is brilliant that we can both input plans to the various trips we have done as well as allowing selected friends and family access to selected parts of our plans so they can know where we are and learn from our planning.Version: 17.0.1

Must have for any trip!Travelling can be stressful but having everything you need in one place definitely helps. All your bookings and reservations import automatically from your email, you can add any activities you have planned and see everything on a neat timeline. I use TripIt every time I travel to keep on top of everything from which gate my flight will be at to how much time I have in between all my bookings and activities as to not be late..Version: 14.7.0

TripItSo far great.Version: 11.6.1

A Must Have!If you travel and like to keep everything organized in one place this FREE app. is for you. It’s easy to use. Keeps flights, lodging, restaurants, etc. organized by the date being used. And it’s always there so years after you’re trip you can refer back to make recommendations. I wish there was an option to keep travel insurance information. Perhaps there is on the premium..Version: 17.7.0

When travel always use Tripit! Great little app!Whenever I travel I use Tripit to store all the info that I need. Everything can be found quickly without any hassle! Recomended!.Version: 17.5.0

Alternative to Google TripsA bit clunky and the start as it has merged two trips in the same into one, but more reliable regards import than Google when using the import when sending the email to Trip. Having modified via the web app those that were merged, seem to be getting there. Like all free apps you need to adjust the process to hatch the app capability..Version: 10.1.0

Freakin' awesome, I LOVE TripIt.Just changed some flights & am impressed at the way TripIt handled the change. Flagged the flights as having conflicts, simply showed the conflicting flights & I selected the correct 1s. Also great I can see it on my computer, as well as devices. Sometimes you just need that big screen!.Version: 10.5.0

Love tripitI used Tripit for quite a few years, found it extremely useful and have upgraded to Tripit Pro, love it, everything is filed in order and available off-line on my devices and I can edit, change and add notes easily. A great thing when you arrive somewhere and your hotel name, address and instructions are all there and easily accessible..Version: 12.0.1

Best way to stay organised! As someone who has recently started delving into the more adventures times of my life, this app has everything you need to plan out national & international travelling, it keeps me on top of everything and even has features within the app that I never even considered that have helped massively in the planning process! Will highly recommend this app to beginner and more experienced travellers who are old fashioned, also will be getting friends and family in on this to!.Version: 10.5.0

Did I ever live without this?Been using TripIt for years, so excellent, essential travel app! Every complicated multistage trip organized everything in one place, can't tell you how great it is. Every time I head to the airport I'm thankful everything is in TripIt. You know what's funny? I didn't write the above review, it was suggested by TripIt when I finally, after YEARS of use, took the time to rate it. But it's so true. On my last trip, a 7 different airport, multi stage college tour with my teenager, I was raving to him about TripIt, how different it used to be to travel without it, all the flights, the rental cars, the hotels, the airbnbs, everything in order with all notes in one place. I would never want to give it up. This is the travel app you want - I promise!.Version: 10.3.0

Perfect travel companionIn an age where we are able to select so many different travel options to get the best deals, we inevitably end up with information from lots of different companies/agents. TripIt consolidates all this information into a single trip itinerary that you can share with others and print in one go for your own reference. Sending plans to TripIt is easy and it usually extracts all the relevant travel information from the standard email confirmation automatically and without further intervention (car parking is the exception in my experience). I use TripIt all the time and pay for the Pro upgrade as it adds even more benefits. Highly recommended. I wouldn’t travel without it..Version: 11.4.0

OutstandingWe organise all our own overseas vacations. Flights, hotels, tours, restaurants. Normally a lot of fun exploring and booking via numerous websites. But always a challenge to consolidate. This App makes it simple. It is intuitive and provides both (a) a simple summary (b) the masses of hidden details You are eventually going to need. I’m a Mac user so one minor hack. TripIt won’t automatically import details from my calendar into TripIt. Whereas it will do so for some other calendar Apps. But you can forward emails to your TripIt account and it’ll import the details from your email. And of course, you can give access to any of your planned tours by allowing others access via entering their email as an approved viewer. Supplements your schedule by suggesting restaurants, tours nearby. Which is I guess where they earn their money. And indeed, good luck to them if it maintains this rather elegant and hugely useful App..Version: 10.5.0

Easy Trip PlanningMost all trips weather they be for work/aiding a need, educational/exploratory, or just leisurely/vacation. you can bet it will require a great deal of planning, coordination, and communication to pull it off without a hitch. That's why I am very glad I found trip planner, as a father of six amazing children, any trip can quickly escalate into a huge undertaking. Tripit makes the entire production of planning a successful journey seem easy, as a simple, and even fun, application to log every last contact, phone number, reservation, confirmation, to the last detail. it doesn't stop there! Once the trip begins Tripit is still there to help, not just as a reference tool, but provides safety reports for each event based on it's local crime stats, provides directions and maps one with simple push, gets you from here to the next activity on time. Now the icing on the cake, it even assists you in capturing, documenting, and organizing the amazing experience each event brings, by providing individual notes sections, ane even a place to store photos within each event. Tripit is definitely a must have app when planning any trip. Because it allows you to focus on the experience, while Tripit is handling all the plans! And MORE!!! You're my personal Tripit planning assistant!!!.Version: 10.5.0

Customer service is lacking. Many bugsI used TripIt pro for two years very happily, and then somehow my ex partners email address became associated with the account, And it kept requesting his password which I did not have access to. It was impossible to purge his email address from the account, so I let my subscription run out so that I could start completely fresh. I even neglected the offer to renew at half price, and bought the full new subscription for $49, to avoid any association with my old account. When I went to begin syncing my new TripIt pro account with my iCal and other options offered, it informed me that the function could not be completed because there was already an identical account using my email. There is no way to get real-time assistance from a live chat or call anyone. If you have a problem you have to wait a couple of days for them to email you back, and even then there is no guidance to walk you through fixing the problem. I’ve wasted many hours of my valuable time trying to get the service that I have paid for. Very disappointed and frustrated! 😟.Version: 11.3.0

Game changer for frequent travelers. Great travel companion!Forget printing itineraries, this app is great!.Version: 17.2.0

Really usefulLove that it records my FF numbers and generally just makes things easier. Itinerary just pops up and can't say enough good things about this app. Plans automatically entered in, ability to share, everything available. Free is good. I used to get pro but don’t find the extra value there anymore. One request for improvement - if there are multiple travellers on a trip with slightly different itineraries it would be great to have a little icon for each person to show who is doing what..Version: 17.2.0

Security BlanketI have been using Tripit since 2017 and I love this app. I am fully retired now and I travel to Europe a lot more. This app tells me when to leave for the airport and gives me updates every step of the way. I’m notified of changes flight changes before the airlines post them for the general public. I recently took a trip to Switzerland and was notified before the airline posted it. Before we got off of the plane I knew which carousel our baggage would be delivered to. My wife previously thought I relied on the app to much and was always trying to prove me wrong. Now she quietly relies on the information provided by Tripit. It’s like traveling with security blanket. I use pro version, which comes with a subscription, but for just a couple of dollars per month is well worth the cost for me. I really like that I have an accurate record of all my travels over the years and no longer have to guess when I went where..Version: 17.1.1

Simple. Easy. Brilliant! We all have had that moment when we’ve printed out a dozen itineraries for one trip, or where we’ve had to flip through a dozen apps to check various confirmation numbers and all that. And am sure that we have all thought to ourselves at some point how much easier life would be if all that would be under one roof. Well, voila! This is an app that does all that, and more. Being in the travel industry myself, I didn’t see the need to have a pro version, but it does sound very exciting with all its inclusions. The basic version is great though. You create an account, and then just send your bookings/reservations via email or add them manually, and the best thing is that it puts it all together nicely. You can also assign a name to each trip, and use a cover photo to make it look all snazzy-like. I recommended it to a friend who pointed out that it gives the app access to your email account, but that’s not true. You can give it access if you choose, and it automatically scans and adds any travel bookings into its system, or you can refuse access and just email them when you make a booking, and not fear that a third party has access to your email account. Really love this little app, and am letting all my clients know about it, cause it’s brilliant!😀.Version: 12.0.1

Love this appThis app is so simple and easy to use. Simply forward booking emails and wa la.. itinerary done with added maps and directions. Easy to share with family and friends. Great to share details when travelling independently and meeting up at some point. If you get delayed, they know where you were last, what flight you are on etc, the hotel you are staying at. Makes finding each other easy if things go wrong..Version: 17.4.0

Europe TripRecently completed a trip covering England Scotland and Malta with cat hire and accommodation throughout. As soon as I booked anything such ascar picking up and return the details and dates and times were imported to TripIt automatically. Although I could have done the trip without TripIt, TripIt just made it so much easier by building the itinerary event by event. It’s a must have in my opinion..Version: 17.0.0

Everything in one placeA quick and easy way of keeping tabs on what you have booked and haven’t booked, saves trawling through emails and folders..Version: 11.1.1

Tripit is great been using TripIt for the last 8 years, just love.Loving this Great little app.Version: 11.7.0

FantasticThis is a fantastic ap, I know where I am always without paper.Version: 10.3.0

The most useful app ever!I’ve had this app now for over 2 years. I love the fact it goes through all my flights/ accomodation and sifts our times for everything and remind me. Saves me from printing out my itinerary..Version: 10.5.0

Making Live Easier and OrganizedThis is a great app and it has worked for me 98% from the time I downloaded it for my iPhone. I travel 25 weeks a year and this has made me more organized and efficient. I email my air, hotel, train or car rental confirms to Tripit and with in minutes it's all on my iPhone. To have a single place to have ALL of my travel info is a dream. I use to be in the back of a cab and the driver would ask "What is the address of the hotel?" I would have to open my briefcase backpack find the file, find the hotel info and tell the guy, then get to the hotel and go through the process again at the hotel when they can't find my confirm number. Now I look at the specific trip on TripIt and it's all there. If you are a business traveler this is an awesome app. I was so impressed with the free version I upgrading to the paid version. Thanks TripIt, keep the updates coming, it just keeps getting better and better..Version: 11.1.1

Game ChangerI travel constantly - work and pleasure. I average 200k miles/year, mostly international on every continent. This app is the best. It scans my emails and automatically assembles my itineraries from car service to flights to hotels and back. Hands down the best app I have on my phone. I’d pay double for this app..Version: 11.3.0

Great but could be so much betterIt would help if I could share/export from my iPhone or iPad directly into TripIt. The email facility just keeps sending me error messages I have tried unsuccessfully to upload documents but photography on my phone and pad just lags then reports error messages.Version: 17.6.1

Busy or intermittent travelers will enjoy thisGreat tool for organizing your travel arrangements into a simple UI; or having an assistant do all your travel booking with ease..Version: 17.3.0

The most useful travel app anywhereI started using this manage business travel and now use it for anything driving a car to a destination (not that it couldn’t do that too). If you travel for work or on vacation this is so handy keeping all your logistics in an easy to use itinere so that you are not searching for emails or printed documents with confirmation codes / details..Version: 17.4.0

Like having a PA - even free versionI’m not big on reviews, but as the holiday planner in our household, this app is amazing. I’m using the free version and it’s the best way to keep track of everything and make sure I haven’t missed booking accommodation for that one night layover I’d forgotten about, or messed up the timings of that activity we wanted to do and the transfer i’d organised months ago. So simple to update - just by forwarding the confirmation emails clogging up my inbox. Brilliant..Version: 17.0.1

Great AppI find this app, very useful for planning trips, both for work and for pleasure..Version: 17.3.0

Used to be outstanding, now has some issues2020 November review: I love using TripIt, but it’s now experiencing some annoying new issues. 1. I have updated (off/on) the email integration but it is still not working well. 2. When it does, the bookings which used to be seamlessly integrated into my trips (ie. same vendors) are now left in the unfiled section. Seems to file bookings with pdf attachments ok but others not (can’t be sure). 3. On one occasion, I could not change the name of the lodging which got filed as “Lodging” (ie. staying at a hotel named Lodging?!). Sorry guys, I like(d) this app but it’s becoming cumbersome to have to manually enter data all the time. Looking for other solutions now... Previous 5-star review: I find this App the best for keeping tabs of all my travel itineraries (both business and leisure). Used others before- nothing as versatile yet simple to use as TripIt! Love the interface between phone and web (every so often a hotel has a primitive booking email and so I manually add the booking online. This then Syncs to my phone. Perfect!). Can we please have more options for travel like "Drive Own Car", which could accommodate fuel usage, distance (map integration), route, etc.?.Version: 14.1.0

Great appGreat app. The stats on carbon footprint are also useful. It would be great if it could be easier to add ideas about activities and restaurants, e.g. directly importing from google map and tripadvisor..Version: 17.5.0

Such a useful App!I discovered this app about 6 months ago and I love it! I am doing a complex trip to Europe with several flights, hotels and ground transport. It’s so good to have it all in one place and I like the fact that it alerts you to changes and to missing links such as a night where a hotel isn’t booked. A few slight quirks where some things are not recognized by the app but it’s otherwise very good. Highly recommend..Version: 11.6.1

Makes Travel More PleasurableMakes creating and sharing a travel itinerary easier and stress free. Emailing the confirmation from an airline or hotel to Tripit is usually enough to put all the details in a personalised easy-to-use itinerary. It will also automatically add to personal calendars. Share itineraries between business travelers, travel departments, admin assistants or for family trips. Brilliant app..Version: 11.4.0

Great for organising my trip detailsI like using Tripit to keep all my itineraries in one place for all my trips. Whether hone or abroad Tripit is the place that i go to for my reservations, confirmations and trip updates. And now with extra useful information about my venue provided by Tripit automatically, the app is world class.Version: 10.5.0

All information in the one placeIt’s great to import flight details, accommodation bookings, car rental and activities all in the same app and all for each trip. Showing the countdown of days to the trip also makes it exciting!.Version: 16.7.0

Best travel app available - it’s magic!I’ve been using TripIt for years. It’s my go to app. It’s the app I tell more people about that I know do a lot of travel than any others. If you travel regularly and you want to organised, then use this app. The first time you use TripIt you will feel like you have discovered some secret travel magic. After 207 trips, 773 days of travel, 13 countries and 61 cities (TripIt keeps stats) I still get a kick out of emailing tripit my hotel or airline itinerary and a second later getting confirmation TripIt has all my details along with (almost instantly) a little notification coming though my phone and watch telling me TripIt has the details. Honestly, you won’t believe how fast almost everything you send gets instantly understood and sorted by TripIt. Magic! The app constantly gets better and better. I rely on for keeping me sorted and my family knowing where I am and how to get hold of me at any given time. All my family are subscribed to my TripIt. I’m subscribed to TripIt so everything is always in my calendar. My coordinator is subscribed to my tripit and can send updates directly from her email. So easy. Magic. I often get notified of problems with my flights before the airlines own app has notified me. Magic. When I have hotels booked and no flights yet recorded, it tells me. When things go wrong during travel it helps find good alternatives. When you need that car rental confirmation detail or booking reference for an airline you don’t normally have their app on your phone, it’s your go-to place. Magic. I don’t know why I haven’t written this review years ago. If you travel regularly or even semi-regularly I can highly recommend this app. Make sure you set up and save the email-in address as a contact and then let the magic just happen. If you use multiple emails tell TripIt all of them. Then let the magic begin..Version: 11.0.0

Very helpfulWe have used app for several years and have found it great for keeping everything organized. Easy to use.Version: 17.0.1

Keeping TrackA great app with all your bookings in one place. Easy to use.Version: 10.6.0

Who needs a PAFirst review I have ever written App obviously designed by a team who got fed up searching through zillions of emails looking for trip data Or a team who got fed up employing a PA who was not available when you arrive at a restaurant in the evening but they need your reservation number No typing in details - I have never manually transferred data to the App - why? You don’t need too!! No more Excel spreadsheets taking hours to update everything and everyone- just add their email address and the rest of the team instantly get a copy of everything Excellent App - definitely worth a $1 a week.Version: 11.0.0

Favorite Travel Planning AppI have used Tripit since 2017. In that time I have planned 58 trips, for a total of 319 days, 4 countries, 101 cities and 40,800+ miles. I love this app because it allows me to keep everything pertaining to each trip in one place, including travel documents, like passport and drivers license information, all information about reservations for lodging and my daily itinerary. Reservation confirmation emails are automatically imported and added to my itinerary. Past trips are saved so I can always look back to get information that I can use to plan a future trip to the same location. The Pro edition has even more information, such as flight information as you travel. I don’t fly very often, so I have not tried the Pro edition, but I am sure it works as well as the basic version. I would definitely recommend it..Version: 17.7.0

Pro paid for itselfI only travel a few times a year, so I’d made do with the free version of TripIt. However, I decided to try Pro during a promotional price offer. And I’m glad I did — within a couple of days of signing up, I was notified of a price change for an upcoming flight, along with a wonderfully detailed email explaining how to try to request a refund for the difference. One phone call and 5 minutes of my time and I have a $57 refund for the price drop. The other features are great as well. The one time I had trouble importing a car rental reservation, I sent them the problem file and they updated their software to account for the changes in the confirmation email within a few days. Really happy with the app so far!.Version: 10.1.0

PerfectEasy to use Current and historic record All at the push of a button.Version: 10.0.1

So, so good. The best itinerary app everThis app has made my life so much easier, and I couldn’t be more impressed with it. I travel a lot and sort all the bookings out myself through multiple different websites, which previously used to make keeping on top of my itinerary a bit of a chore, especially when travelling in areas outside of wifi / mobile data. Tripit automatically retrieves all my booking info through my email without me having to do anything at all, and compiles it into a sleek, user-friendly, easy-to-navigate itinerary that updates itself in real time with gate and terminal info and saves for offline use. It is also quick and easy to check in online for flights through the app, and it retrieves and copies all the booking confirmation codes for you to save you having to dig around in your email for them. Sharing travel info with friends and family is easy and very clear. I am very very happy with how much work this app saves me and how much smoother it makes all my travelling. I have a couple of suggestions for improvements in the future... recently I cancelled a hotel booking and it wasn’t as easy to remove a cancelled item from my itinerary as I’d hoped. I had another one but I can’t remember what it is now, can’t have been that good I suppose. Cheers Tripit for making my itinerant life a breeze..Version: 11.0.0

Great organiser. We go o. Trips with multiple destinations and car rentals etc. we also book restaurants in advance. This software is great for that!.Version: 17.6.0

Great app but..I’ve been using Tripit & Tripit pro for many years. I used to think it was great. One problem I have been having lately is that it defaults to airports and locations in the US. I know they think they ‘are’ the world. But there’s a whole other world out there. I try to change the destination but it’s time consuming and frustrating and doesn’t always work. As it has added + or - a day to my trip to a county I’m not going to, all my connecting bookings are also out of sync! I did like this app because it pre-filled the data from my reservation confirmation emails. All done, bingo, no fuss and bother for me. Now I spend ages trying to set destinations on my side of the hemisphere. If you’re in the Sthn Hemisphere start looking for an alternative app that works in the Sthn Hemisphere like I’m about to do..Version: 10.2.1

Been using since 2015Great app. Very useful, easy to use and to share with family & friends. Notifications are very helpful. Hearing the flight notification sound (“ding-dong”) makes me smile every time! Also lots of fun to look back and refresh our memories!.Version: 17.3.0

Can’t travel now without itHave used this app for years for work primarily, well worth it A1+++.Version: 11.3.0

Can’t Travel Without TripIt!I’ve been using tripit for over a decade. Always the free version until just recently when I upgraded to Pro. It makes it so easy to keep all the trip details in one place - flights, accommodation, events, restaurants etc etc. I then share the itinerary with my travel partners and anyone else who needs the info. It’s quick, easy to use and does its job brilliantly! And I can see the history of all my past trips which is awesome! Can’t recommend TripIt highly enough!.Version: 17.7.0

Love ItUse it all the time. Easy to use.Version: 14.7.0

Best way to keep track of tripsBest way to keep track of trips, allowing to add and organize multiple flights, hotels, etc. It comes really in hand when you have several flights, trips and you want to store all the information of different companies in one place.Version: 10.2.1

Just a leisure traveler...I may not travel as much as others, but maybe that’s why I need this more, to organise me like a professional. I love the ease of just forwarding confirmation emails to TripIt, and having all of the information imported automatically. Not just confirmation numbers, but ticket prices, web site info, car type, etc. Every item shows in my regular calendar, so I never have to enter anything twice - especially helpful when there are changes! The notifications are a godsend when there is a flight or gate change - I get them before I get the airline’s - once I was able to rebook the last two seats on another flight, and I know it’s because I knew about the cancellation a few minutes before the rest of the plane. I use this for everything!.Version: 11.6.1

Easy to useGreat app, I like that it tracks all my booking and costing also. Easy to use and can access from and device with login..Version: 10.2.1

From handy gadget to essential toolOther reviews say how good this is. But the real difference? ..... no longer do you search for air tickets or booking references, as it’s all in one spot and already in your pocket. And land in a foreign land and this tells you where lounges are for transit or maps your way to your hotel. I suggest this to all my travelling friends. Incredibly easy to use this is my all time favourite app..Version: 10.4.0

My ideal travel companionNot sure what earlier version of a travel app I started with but followed the migrations and finished up with the free Tripit which I loved so went for the pro. Love the way it finds my plans in my email and doesn’t assume which trip it is associated with, it lets me make that. Great that it keeps the past trips in an archive, you never know when you want to find a past trip, accom, etc. The time-line format is great, as are the flight reminders, updates and checkin reminders. Recently discovered the trip export function which gives a handy email format to leave with the family. Ohhh and the online help is fast and personal, I get a human who understands what I am trying to do..Version: 10.0.1

Ease of use and works well. This app is awesome for travel. Have been using it for many years. It works well and has many features even without going pro. If I travelled more I would get pro for sure..Version: 17.1.1

Good for trip planning on multipleI am using TripIt on IPhone, iPad & windows 10 computer and finding it an easy way to record my trips and share with travelling companions and family. I am not using email entry (just manual entry) but it has been easy to enter this way as well and I have found the inbuilt directions useful as well as notes to add things I might be interested in seeing..Version: 10.4.1

Exceptional appUse this for all my travel now. since starting with it about a year ago. Like the way you can just forward your plans to the dedicated email address and it somehow divines where it belongs in your travel itineraries. Also that the original email you forwarded (including attachments) can be accessed from the app so any details not in the schedule can be pulled up with a couple of taps on your cell phone. One of the best apps I’ve come across. Period (as our American cousins would have it)!.Version: 10.5.0

Great assistantTripIt makes my trip so easy, love the Maps for the airports. Everything is in one convenient place. We should totally try it out. What do you have blues. Set up it’s easy to use..Version: 9.6.0

Simply amazed!!!So I just came across the gem today, and I’m very impressed actually blown away. It tells me to email my itinerary and it’s gonna automatically going to on this on the app for me, for FREE?! I’m like this can’t be real. Someone is gonna sit there and put this information on a schedule for me for free. Ha ha. Within one minute after I email one itinerary after the next, it’s already uploaded into the app in sequential order from my flight to the days I’m on my cruise to the hotel, before and afterwords everything. Like how!!! I don’t know how they have a program to do this and I don’t care. This is the best thing since sliced bread. I guarantee it ha ha absolutely love it can’t wait for more goodies that I will find using this wonderful app, thank you so much for making my life a lot easier..Version: 17.3.0

Still useful but significantly less reliable than it once wasRecent spate of posted delays that were just plain bad information, incorrect gate, lounge, and baggage information make this less a go-to than it was. I fly the same airline, rent the same cars, stay with the same hotel chain, and use the same travel app until it no longer makes sense. Trip It is making less sense than it once did. A faded star, less current and no longer the first tool in the drawer. I continue to hold it as a dynamic and shared itinerary but no longer look to it for flight or airport information. It isn’t the first app to pick up a change, the changes described are often incorrect, information is often missing (which gate? which carousel?). It’s still cheap at 50 or 60 bucks a year, but the seller should increase the price and do what it takes to make it a star again before becomes entirely irrelevant..Version: 16.7.0

Love TripIt, but recently things have started to go wrong!I've been using TripIt now for about 4 years, and numerous trips. I love it! However in the past few weeks, I've started receiving incorrect information into my trip itinerary. (So, receiving someone else's flights and bus bookings.) This is causing "conflicts" in my itinerary, and suggests that another user isn't correctly updating their itinerary as I'm receiving heir bookings into my account. This suggests that the links between my email accounts and my TripIt account has been compromised..Version: 9.6.0

Good but does some strange thingsI like the way it finds and fills in the details of flights and hotels, and displays the whole trip but why can I only have one flight confirmation number on my flights and it doesn't seem logical to me that to add more details to a trip I have to add another “plan” rather than a new item. The problem with the flight confirmation number is why I gave it 4 stars because i find that really frustrating..Version: 17.2.0

Good travel App but can be improvedThe app is good and practical. Since WorldMate's discontinuation (the best App that was available to manage trips in my view), TripIt Pro is the App that I find to be the closest to it. After trying many others that are available in the App Store, I found TripIt to be the best one out there. Well thought with good features. However, I would suggest two improvements to it: 1. To allow flight searches from within the app. No need to have the option to buy tickets from within the app but it would be very helpful to be able to search for flights independently from any saved trip (this option was available in WorldMate). 2. It would be very helpful to have the possibility to add trips' information on already existing calendars without having to subscribe to a new one (currently, one has to subscribe to a new TripIt calendar). This is particularly true when your calendar is accessible to your assistant and/or colleagues so they can check your availability..Version: 10.2.0

Great Travel AssistantI found Tripit a bit cumbersome to make changes or to rename itineraries at first, but with hours to waste at an airport and a bit of effort I worked it out. I love the fact that all the information relative to each trip is right at my fingertips, so I do not need to search for anything. I travel an insane amount, so an app such as this is a real godsend..Version: 10.0.1

The best trip plannerI love this app intensely. Keeping the complexities of bookings, flights and plans in order in a way that can be shared with my husband is life changing. Fine are the days of searching through email to check a hotel address or flight departure time. Highly recommend and paying for full functionality..Version: 17.3.0

DisappointedI pay premium each year. It’s great that it syncs with concur. But, manual addition of trips is pathetic from an interface perspective. It also merges trips rather than creating new trips when bookings come over from concur. Mixing trips because the end date of one overlaps with beginning date of next. For example, tonight I had to manually separate two trips. I had to execute the move option three times. Each time it looked like the flight and car were moved to a new trip. I would then look but no new trip in my trip list. I would refresh. Still no trip. I would go back into the original trip and the mixed travel plans were still there. I moved them again. Eventually, two new trips showed in my trip list but were empty. The original trip which was mixed had all of the bookings still in one trip. One more move and it finally stuck. Mail in feature of adding flights, hotels, and car rentals does usually work. If it were not for that feature, I would cancel my subscription..Version: 10.3.0

All in one placeI love how everything related to a travel is in one place. Car rentals, hotel, flights etc..Version: 16.7.0

Good overallNeeds to be able to detect time zones better especially when traveling international as you are starting in a local time zone and moving to a different one. For example it picked up my airport parking however the time zone it’s using to sync to my iCal is my destinations not my departures which is totally wrong.Version: 17.0.1

Perfect way to store trip detailsBeen using the free version for years after reading how much business travelers loved this app. Keeps track of every confirmation number, date, flight or train ticket that I forward to it for a trip. Allows me to look in ONE PLACE for any detail I need. Does this remarkably well by allowing me to forward e-mails from hotels, travel agents, transportation companies to the app. All details are then magically organized chronologically in an format that is intuitive for me to use. No more digging through emails to find my confirmation number or a check in time For something I booked months ago. All the info I could possibly need is stored in TripIt for as long as I need it. Can’t imagine how it could possibly be done better..Version: 10.4.0

Great appI do a massive amount of traveling and this app helps to keep it all together. I also share my trips with my wife so she knows where I am or if she’s coming with me. Pro is worth the expense if you travel a lot - it often tells you gate numbers or about delays before the announcements.Version: 12.0.1

Love this AppThis is arguably the best loved of all my apps. I’m a user since 2013, first free, then paid, and I call myself the “Tripit Evangelist.” The paid option will bring a smug smile to your face as you sleep past 3am get up and go time, just because Tripit let you know the night before the flight has been delayed by 5 hrs. Or you stand in the Frankfurt Airport - ALL systems down, total blackout (yes in Germany!) - and you’re the ONLY one in the whole place who knows their gate change!! You’re the one advising the Lufthansa desk!!! Love the new travel stats too. One feature that I would like to see, is a search function to find quickly how many times and when I’ve been to a particular place, city or country, Please, please, please you smart developers, work on this!.Version: 11.1.0

What gone wrong?I’ve been a serious Pro user for about 6 years. But I’m the last few months I have encountered serious errors: flight details are consistently being imported incorrectly from the PDF’s. PM departures become AM, new stopover cities are created (!!). Seriously bizarre stuff! And unless you check carefully could lead to major mistakes. To be honest I never used to check anything: TripIt was magic! But the system is regularly making major mistakes now. Something has happened!.Version: 16.4.0

ApLove this Ap it saves me so much time..Version: 10.3.0

Amazing Travel Planning AppI travel on a regular basis and most of my trips involve complex travel arrangements, which meant that I used to have to print out lots of booking confirmations and/or manually input my flight and hotel details into my calendar. I was introduced to the app by a colleague in 2017 and it has revolutionised the way I keep track of my flights and other travel information. All my flight details are in one place and I can easily access them on the go - plus the app syncs them with my calendar so that I can also check them there if need be. I absolutely love it and I keep recommending it to people. (I have been using the free version so far).Version: 11.4.0

Simple and invaluableIf you travel, you should use this If you travel a lot there is no "should". Use it. Get it now. Simple, invaluable. I do use the Pro version, but to be honest I don't think anyone needs to. The basic version just works brilliantly.Version: 17.3.0

This app made me 600$ due to fight delayI have had this app (free version) for several years and really just use it for basic construction of my itinerary. I have always found it helpful. I’m Sure it can do so much more but I haven’t taken the time to learn everything. THIS APP PROVED ITS WORTH ON MY PHONE FOREVER! My flight from Paris was delayed over 3 hours. Little did I know that there is a law (206) in the EU that reimburses flyers for delays over 3 hours. After we got back to the states, a day later I got a notification from the trip it app that United probably owed me money (600 euro). After I googled what this notification meant I started the process with United to get money for my flight delay. United is making good with offers of 600Euro or 1000$ travel credit. I would NEVER have known this if it weren’t for the trip it app. I am still amazed that trip it sent this notification. I tell all my friends about trip it!.Version: 17.1.1

Fantastic travel appAmazing app for automatically storing all travel & accommodation details in the one place and giving a simple overview of an upcoming trip as well as recording all previous trips. You can set it to monitor your email inbox and it will add flights/accommodation/etc automatically, alternately you can forward any email you want it to file and it identifies the data in the email and adds it to your trip. They have perfected the free vs paid model - something that many apps fail dismally. Keep doing this well and you will keep growing in the future. The free version (which I have used for many years) works completely without restricting your use of the app or bombarding you with ads or videos. The paid version has extra features which benefit frequent travellers (as well as those that are time-poor) such as advising of gate changes and if lower fares become available for a flight, potentiality saving them much more money than the subscription price..Version: 17.4.0

Keeps me Organized and free from WorryTripit keeps my travel plans organized. I love how it tracks each element of my trip and as those elements are complete they are grayed out in the trip list. Confirmation numbers, addresses, hotel and travel, museum tickets, restaurant reservations, you name it, are all in one place. I starting using this app in 2016 for a vacation and have used it ever since for both business and personal travel. I have noticed that if you send itinerary plans via email to the app and there is a coincident trip registered (say, for a spouse’s trip over similar dates) the app doesn’t differentiate destinations but only time periods of travel. Still a great app. I have told friends, family, and colleagues about this app and I recommend it without reservation..Version: 17.7.0

Cracking appBeen using TripIt for about 16 months and it’s a great app for everything travel. The features are easy to use and understand and the quality of the information is second to none. Alerts, schedules, trip organisers, all the information you need in one place. Recommended..Version: 16.7.0

All my travel information, reliably.I’ve been using this app for years now, and it just keeps getting better. All my necessary and personal information in one location. Brilliant!.Version: 10.6.0

Helpful in many cases but may get confusing if you change bookingsMy original review of TripIt was negative, and I did not expect to continue using it. TripIt was not too helpful when I had to keep changing my bookings due to New Zealand Covid regulations. Frankly, Covid has thrown a scanner into just everything. However,8 have now recognized that this is a good app and is pretty darn helpful on a stable itinerary, which, with good luck, will be the case soon after 2022. I’ll use TripIt on my next trip later this year, & I think it was the frequent changes I’ve had to keep making to plans due to wild New Zealand Covid travel rules that threw off my initial experience with TripIt. I will say also that their customer satisfaction people contacted me after my initial review to help with my TripIt issues, and they did it in a very timely and impressive manner. So now I am at four stars - maybe five stars after next trip. However, I still think that this app is terrific for travel plans that don’t change, and is problematic if you do have to make multiple changes to travel plans..Version: 16.4.0

Good, but limitationsThere are some things to like about Tripit, but some obvious downsides. There is no Apple Watch capability. This would be very useful and all Apps worth anything have this functionality. The other issue for me is that although they seem to be working on it, it is still very US centric. Come on guys, the internet and Apps reach everyone these days, especially in Europe..Version: 10.3.0

Travel planner ExellenceWe’ve used TripIt since 2013, we’ve travelled over 300,000 kilometers, visiting 24 countries and every step of the journey is set out in TripIt to keep us on track. It’s great to show taxis our hotel destination, get alerts for flights and reminders to early Check-in. Best app to use when booking long trips, notified if missing bookings for accommodation, I also input must see places to visit Can’t travel now without using TripIt which is constantly being upgraded with new features added..Version: 11.0.0

Worth its weight in gold!Brilliant app for taking the strain out of trip and holiday planning, not to mention the ease of having a chronological aide memoire when on the move. 8 week tour of NZ was much easier with tripit at our backs, similarly planning this year's 3 weeks road trip to Italy is greatly helped by seeing how everything ties in..Version: 11.7.0

Worth the price! This app is so fantastic. It's an easy way to sort your itinerary without having multiple print outs...but more than that it always seems ahead of the curve in terms of telling you which terminal you're flying into and out of, not to mention warning you when a cancellation is happening quicker than it is announced at the gate, allowing for precious time to get to the head of the queue for rebooking. It's a fab little app. Worth the price for sure!.Version: 16.5.1

Great Travelling AppGreat travelling app, able to keep everything all in one place is fantastic. Only wish you could change or choose different colours for the icons eg, activity, tours, trains, ferries etc so each one would stand out better rather them all in being blue. The only ones that are currently a different colour are the airfares which are green..Version: 17.5.0

Need SMS Text for CanadaCurrently there SMS Text notifications are not available in Canada..Version: 17.7.0

Love it!!!I love that I have all our booking details, flight dates, hotel booking dates and all our day tours all in one place and it populated the address automatically!! Wish the pictures could be edited but that’s a minor. Thanks TripIt..Version: 11.6.1

Fantastic appHave been using Tripit since 2012 and love it - great to be able also to look back at old trips we have done..Version: 17.1.1

Makes the travel experience so much better! As someone who is well travelled and has planned a number of trips for my family, this makes everything a breeze! I‘ve been using this since 2018 and it‘s great. My favourite part is that it syncs to your email and automatically picks out your bookings so you don’t have to manually add each one. Then it puts things in chronological order. It’s user friendly and the minor issues I came across were easily fixed. Those in my family who are not well travelled have found that this app has taken a lot of stress and anxiety away. Highly recommend I will continue using it and recommend it.Version: 18.0.1

Great trip summary appSummarizes beautifully and I don’t have to look at multiple emails to get a summary of my trip, no matter how many flights I need to take.Version: 17.3.0

3 small suggestions for improvement1) Make locations searchable. For example, I add an activity, my activity is disneyland. If the app could find disneyland and enter all the contact details and website it would make it easier. It can do it if you have already booked something and have a confirmation email, but otherwise it can’t. 2) Make it possible to select mutiple pictures at once to each activity 3) Add a budget fuction. Example - hotel cost per night, flight costs, activity costs and a way to compare. A saving tool so it will cost $$$ to have your holiday which is $$$ each week you need to save. With these functions, you would have an unbeatable app, because otherwise i love it.Version: 10.3.0

Wow! Amazing app!Found this app accidentally while I was planing my Bali trip, and it turns out become my best travel planner! I won’t have to open my excel again that make things so easy because Tripit already has so many resources in its memory data, once you key in a place, all the details like address or phone number just jump out and you only need to click the one you need and it’s planned! Awesome!.Version: 10.6.0

Love this App!I plan my own vacations, including transportation, rooms and tours. It’s so easy to keep it all organized with a TripIt. I just forward the confirmation emails (no explanation needed) to TripIt plans and they list it all in chronological order, with all the details, so I can view it on line or print out the list. I get an alert when it’s time to check in for my flights, along with a link to the airline’s sight. Recently on of my upcoming flights was delayed (after check-in). TripIt informed me that I couldn’t make my connecting flight, and gave me a list of alternate flights. It was sooo easy to change my flight, because I had all the information I needed. I even get a notice if I don’t have accommodations at a location for which I booked tours. And there’s so much more! I highly recommend this service!.Version: 10.3.0

Tripit saved my holidayI have never felt compelled to write a review about an app before but I wanted to share my recent experience. My friend and I were scheduled to fly out on December 26 and in the middle of the night (1:45 am) I heard the distinctive alert from the TripIt app. I woke up to see that my morning flight had been canceled. I looked at my emails, the app from the airline, my texts and there was not a single notification from the airline. I confirmed on the airline website that the flight had indeed been canceled and that leg of my trip was completely gone from my itinerary. I realized that if I waited to get to the airport any other flight options would have been gone. This gave me several hour lead time on all of the other passengers to be able to find a great flight alternative. In addition, I rely on putting all of my plans in the TripIt app which helps keep track of confirmation codes reservation numbers and keeps everything in the correct time zone. I will never not use this app when traveling..Version: 16.2.0

Travel Scheduling at its finest!I enjoy using TripIt. It’s easy to forward confirmations to the planit email and update an itinerary. I travel every other week and gives me flight notifications almost before the Airline sends me their notifications! Only reason I didn’t put 5 stars is because I wish there were additional options for the itinerary. It’s great for reservations and confirmations, not for activities.... I used this when I went to Europe twice and we literally had a schedule for every part of the day including working out. I wish there were options of..... workout, hiking, drive time, and a way to move the activities around throughout the day rather then put a specific time. Also would be nice to delete ALL the sections that don’t need to be fill out. It’s a tad clunky to use TripIt on the computer and sometimes it doesn’t save or update my entries. I was a little frustrated at first, but just constantly save my updates. Overall, I enjoy using it. But I also wish I could share the itinerary with people without them having to pay for it. That’s a bummer..Version: 11.7.0

Excellent appGreat for tracking travel plans. Booking email automatically enters details of trip. Good to check out past trips and date. The only problem is that the photos that I have entered on the website are no longer put onto the App. And all older photos are no longer there on the app.Version: 17.1.1

Shockingly goodIve been using the app for a few days now planning a trip to China. I’ve been pleasantly surprised at what this app can do. Once i confirm bookings of hotels or transport i simply forward the email confirmation to tripits email address and like magic my booking appears in my tripit itinerary. I’m in awe at the features tripit provides as a free app. I strongly recommend all travellers expert and new, to try this app!.Version: 12.0.1

Superb! We have been using this app for years and it is very useful for arranging all of our trip details for us. We love that it keeps everything in one place, and it is especially handy when we are staying at multiple accommodations..Version: 18.1.0

Superficially good, but very shallow in realityWhy can’t it: * update my seat status? (Very frustrating, this - it doesn’t pick up seat information from my airline’s update emails!) * export any but the very barest details to my diary? (It will put the flight time and a link to the booking in there. Why not what I want? It used to put a very comprehensive entry there) * pick up booking info direct from the airline via the Locator? * be more useful? This app gives me occasional glimpses of what it once was, could be, should be, but actually isn’t. When I first used it, 2-3 years ago for a round the world trip, it wasn’t bad at all, but since then it seems horribly dumbed-down..Version: 10.0.1

An easy way to plan your tripFirst time using it, but so far-so good. Being able to email my itinerary to TripIt and have them create my TripIt itinerary was fantastic! Then so easy to edit and update events as they’re added or changed. Looking forward to seeing how it goes while I’m traveling..Version: 12.0.0

I adore TripIt - Sharing Trips with others needs workI adore TripIt — I’ve been using it In some form or another since way back in 2008 - yikes I’m old! It really is effective in getting itinerary into one app and then integration into my device’s calendar is also great! I really like the auto import via a gmail account (usually the app has been focused on flying but I’m thrilled that the train itineraries are a bit better - especially Amtrak) I will say one area that really needs to be streamlined is sharing plans with non-TripIt users. In the app there are a few options, all of them not great. In the app, sharing a plan results in a mumbojumbo of unformatted texts, the iMessage feature doesn’t seem to be accessible to non TripIt users although they can see the thumbnail. I know inner circle can see plans but I think there needs to be a more streamlined process. What I do when sharing plans as a work around? I simply screenshot and message. Perhaps that’s all that needed in a future update! Anyway like the product some areas could’ve streamlined but this is definitely one of top three apps I use for travel!.Version: 16.5.0

UPDATED:Good idea and getting betterPrevious review had only used the app for a couple of days so far and it Needed some further development. The developer has listened and acted, on my and assume others feedback and I now find this app very useful in my itinerary planning. Great job, keep up the good development work. Updated: following a timely response from the developer who clearly cares about their product and hopefully its long term benefits, I’m updating my review from 2 to 3 to now 4 stars in just over 6 months..Version: 10.6.0

Time SaverThe only “problem” today, is that you are not able to upload the documents on the website. I do use my computer to search and save the booking pdfs and i have to transfer to my phone to save to Tripit. Everything else is great. If the pro version was cheaper or/and charged per trip planned i would sign the subscription for sure..Version: 17.7.0

Brilliant!I don’t usually leave reviews for anything but this app has made my first holiday so much less stressful, I’m amazed what you get for free- even tells you how to get around and how much it will cost for bus, taxi, driving etc, tidy interface and it knows everywhere and everything! Very pleased!.Version: 11.8.0

Great functionAll my travel plans are in one place. I often get notified of gate changes even before they are announced at the airport which is helpful and amazing. I like having my trips logged so I can see the history of miles, flights I taken snd cities I’ve visited. Gives me wonderful memories when looking at those stats. Great app and I love it! Can’t recommend it more than I already do. Thank you..Version: 16.7.0

Loving the ease of this app.Loving how easy this app is to use and that all my info can be stored in one place. I also like the feature that you can invite someone to subscribe to your travel itinerary so, for example family can track where you’re supposed to be - a great safety feature. Handy as well that you can sync to your email and forward bookings to TripIt so it’s added for you, or manually enter in yourself !.Version: 10.5.0

Awesome tool for a road warriorTraveling 35-40 weeks of the year TripIt has been a lifesaver!.Version: 18.1.0

A must have for travellersI have been using TripIt for 15 years for work and leisure trips. It is a travel essential ( along with packing cubes). I encourage everyone to use it- learn to use all its features and you will never go back. The free version is great in itself. Upgrade to TripItPro and you will get even better features- TripItPro often advises me of flight cancellations and delays before my airline apps do. Another feature is that I can look back on all my trips and remember where I stayed and what I did and with which service provider. Amazing!!!!!!!!!!.Version: 17.5.0

No way I could do it better! This app has been my go to for about six years now. I travel a lot for work and for Personal, so I’m constantly dealing with flight details, hotels, rent cars, reservations for activities and restaurants, National park entries, etc. there is no way I could keep all of this stuff organized enough for it to all makes sense. This app has saved my bacon so many times! The reminders are helpful and all of the details for every single trip (that you send) are included. I’ve also been able to get great support from TripIt when a reservation goes to the wrong trip or something like that. It’s really the best travel app if you’re constantly on the go. Let TripIt organize your travel!.Version: 16.4.0

Such a useful appLove this to organise everything on my trip... Very useful.Version: 12.3.0

Great AppWe have been using this App for our fairly frequent travel for 5 years now. It’s been trouble free and one of the best ways of keeping everything together in one place. We highly recommend it. Never felt like we’ve needed to upgrade to Trip Pro..Version: 11.5.0

Wouldn’t be without itThis is a great app that I wouldn’t be without. I started using it when I travelled for business. I still use it now even though my business travel days are over. The app is continually getting useful updates. With TripIt I have all my travel info in one handy place. I wouldn’t travel without it..Version: 10.6.0

I love this appI love this app for my trips. I’m currently planning my Barbados holiday and it picks up all the attractions and restaurants easily with all relevant details like address and numbers. It’s so easy to use and easy to see the overview of your trip. I will be using this app for all my trips. Well done to the developers !.Version: 14.6.1

It’s great to be organised !!So simple to build your holiday itinerary all in one place & to be able to share with your friends as well keeps everyone in the picture Fantastic app I’d go for the Pro if I could afford it which comes with live updates 😀.Version: 17.2.0

Most flexible trip organizerI have used this for more than five years. I’ve tried a few other trip organizers and always go back to this. I am still amazed how quickly everything automatically, magically gets added to this app. That’s the most important thing, flight times, layover lengths, etc. The logistics of the flights should I mostly use it for. It even automatically imports paid shuttles on one end or the other of the flights. It really couldn’t be easier to use and a ton easier than searching for emails. There are a few notes and related things sometimes but I would like to add and it’s easy to add them manually. I add, for example, a restaurant in the airport to visit, or the first destination I need to hit after a flight, or location to pick up ski passes, related things like that. This app is so flexible..Version: 11.4.0

Almost five starsGreat app. Absolutely indispensable when travelling. Seat confirmation. Sharing trip info. Forwarding plans for auto itinerary creation. ..Version: 9.5.0

Great app, almost!Badly needs a refresh button, to update the latest bookings from your email. Waiting till the next morning is rather tedious. And, for those of us from the previous century, or worried about our data usage, perhaps a print option? Otherwise we’ve found this app wonderfully useful. Has helped us no end planning our trip to New Zealand. Lots of positives like giving bookings in local time as well as our time zone, pointing out gaps in accommodation, and warning when flights aren’t monitored. We will definitely keep using it 😊 Does seem to pick up some bookings twice. That’s probably operator error, thobut ....Version: 11.5.0

5 Missed flights fault of TripItA TripIt Pro user for several years for business & pleasure. Very happy until now. Travelling with my family of 5 we just arrived to discover that TripIt misread our flight itinerary as PM from AM. Stranded at airport, continue to receive flight update emails and notifications for our flight leaving tonight at 5:35pm even know Air Canada reports it left at 5:00am. Obvious computer glitch in the system, with no phone number to TripIt to call for help. I won’t pay for TripIt Pro any longer or use the App at all. Too bad as it was great and was always accurate until today. Now I have to pay for 5 new tickets to get us home. Horrible situation..Version: 9.6.0

Oh how I love thee!I’ve been using Tripit for umpteen (OK, maybe 5 or 6?) years to keep track of our trips. We are retired and travel very frequently. It’s difficult keeping track of all of the details, but Tripit does the heavy lifting for us. Most of our airfare is booked using points, so I had never had occasion to use the price protection feature where the app “supposedly” pays for itself. Well guess what? It does! Today I booked a trip using an ecredit, and lo and behold, a few hours later I received a notification that Delta had reduced the fare for my trip by $130. I used the link provided by Tripit, contacted Delta, did an on-line chat, and boom, received a $130 credit on a $1507 fare. Hey, the app was worth it before, for serving as a repository of all of our travel information, and keeping it straight. Now, it truly has paid for itself. I LOVE this app..Version: 18.1.0

Worth It!!I love this app in Pro version! It works as a concierge, travel agent, reminder, and will even give alerts if you are elegible for a better fare. This feature alone has paid for the annual app multiple years. The app will even remind you when you should leave for the airport to allow time for traffic and check in. If the gate changes, you get a reminder. It will provide you with a layout of the airportI so you know where to go. The app will also let you know of available lounges within the airport. It also keeps track of your mileage reward program with airlines and hotels. You can share your trip itinerary with friends and/or coworkers. A new feature If traveling out of the country, it will provide you with vital information so you know what to expect exchange rate, type of electrical adapters you may need, etc. I have only touched on a few benefits, there are a lot more. Well worth it!!.Version: 10.5.0

TripItKeeps you so organized! Love it!.Version: 16.4.0

Like the upgradeI have been using TripIt for several years to plan and organize all of my business trips. However, with Covid and being semi retired I have not travelled a lot lately. I was planning a trip for my wife’s and my anniversary and decided to use TripIt even though it is mostly a road trip. I found that now, even by typing in partial names of small companies in remote areas of Nova Scotia, TripIt had all of their information and filled it in for me including, name, address, email, and phone number. In prior versions I was always going back and forth to find and add that info. I like the new version..Version: 17.2.0

Don’t leave home without TripIt!Before I retired, I traveled extensively for my job, and TripIt was the only way I could keep track of where I was going, which hotel I was staying at, what rental car company I was using, and which events I was required to be at. All of this info also synched to my Google calendar so I never booked meetings at the same time as I was flying! Now that I am retired and doing a lot more leisure travel, the same situation’s are remedied by TripIt. I now I’ll keep track of everything including leisure activities. As I am planning my international travel, with the upgraded version, I have access to multiple resources regarding each country I’m visiting, for example, what the COVID requirements are. I don’t know what I would do without TripIt..Version: 17.0.1

Love TripItI have been using this app for many years and love it. I am a die hard trip planner and like to have everything and everything related to the planning easily accessible in one spot from anywhere. This is really the only app out there that comes close. In the past, I have used a combination of Google calendars, word docs, and powerpoints - this replaces everything. Even while on the trip, we continue to update details in TripIt so we have a journal of memories that we can enjoy later… I also want to call out the excellent tech and customer support that is offered. Very easy to ask questions and provide feedback by opening tickets through the app. The support team is very responsive and actually addresses the questions, rather than provide generic canned replies. The only thing that would make this better are: 1) Incorporate a “To Do” checklist for planning. There’s usually a hundred things you need to do like, Make kennel arrangements for the dog, Request mail hold, etc) 2) Be able to hide certain information when sharing the itinerary. Many times I want to send friends or relatives a link with overall itinerary info (dates, hotels, air, etc), but not necessarily share details like booking numbers, costs, and notes that are entered..Version: 14.7.0

AwesomeIntuitive and accurate. Cannot believe how it extracts the info from the emails Brilliant.Version: 11.7.0

Very GoodFree to use, great basic functionality, very clean. Was not expecting that these days where everything is covered by a paywall, will be happy to support this app just for that..Version: 18.2.0

Hang for planning, sharing, and archiving trip detailsI’ve been using TripIt for nearly 15 years to organize and share my travel details with companion travelers and at the same time with family members at home. Much more efficient than spreadsheets or emails because everyone always has access to the most current info. Handy flight check-in reminders and other features too. Plus it’s great to easily be able to look up older trips to answer those questions like, “what was the name of that hotel we stayed at in that place back in 2012” or, “when was it that we took that trip to xxxx” I recommend TripIt to all my friends and family when we’re talking about travel. 👍👍.Version: 17.0.1

Can’t live withoutSometimes when I do a very complicated trip, it becomes very difficult to track all my bookings on the air trains and Hotels, and TripIt really Does do it super well … My only criticism is that they don’t have a summary page that captures everything on one page… For example if I’m doing four FLights and four Hotels and one train I like to see the whole flow of the trip in one a one page summary… Overall superb thanks.Version: 16.6.0

Fantastic travel itinerary appAbsolutely brilliant! For someone who’s holidays always involve lots of stops, hotels, plans this is amazing. I’ve just booked a 10 day holiday with 7 different hotels, a few hire cars, a cycle tour, the app has sorted all this into a timeline, with confirmation details and addresses, with ease. The very few the app couldn’t recognise due to poor confirmation details from the vendors, were easily added manually. I love this app!.Version: 11.6.1

AwesomeGreat what a great way to organize your trip.Version: 16.4.0

Invaluable AppI travel halfway around the world every month, and not always through the same airports. This app is essential in getting me to my flights on time and to the correct terminals and gates. I will often take up to 4 flights one after the other passing through as many countries, the interactive maps are key to me not getting lost when wondering through new airports where the signs are not in English. I also use it to check that my flights and hotel bookings are in the correct order and on the correct days, as changing the date line on these long trips means that I will check into hotels before I board flights (if in the same time zone). I’ve been using the pro version for a few years, and I am completely happy with the service and features..Version: 16.6.0

An Essential Trip Planning AppI downloaded this app a few weeks ago while I was doing initial planning for a trip that is now a week and a half away. I almost immediately appreciated how well it figured out what my trip details looked like but now that I am nearer to departure I am absolutely blown away that it is looking through my emails (which I gave permission for) and plugging in hotel confirmation numbers and other details as they arrive in my in box. It even forecasts the weather at each destination. This particular trip has a lot of moving parts (multiple destinations, multiple flights, etc) and it is lovely to see everything laid out for me. Don’t know what I did without it..Version: 17.7.0

Needs enhancementNeed to allow SMS for Canadian subscribers. Need to be easier to find billing and payment information..Version: 17.5.0

Continually impresses meI have been using this app since 2014 (pro member since 2015) and have registered, managed and logged 34 trips since then using TripIt ranging from 3 day business trips to 2 month multi country holidays. This app is brilliant - easily compiling itineraries correctly and handling with perfection. Recently after booking a Trafalgar tour, I wondered what would happen if I forwarded my full tour itinerary to the tripit email and lo and behold it registered every hotel stopover and completely flawed me. Great work trip it team. Importing tour itineraries was a very unexpected feature. Suggested feature: add functionality to email PDF document to trip it and then attach as a note in the itinerary at a certain date time (which you have) but make the PDF viewable there..Version: 11.1.1

Makes life easierI love that I can book all the elements of a trip and easily see in trip it that I haven’t accidentally booked an overlap or left a gap in my plans. Been using it for years and cat praise it enough..Version: 16.5.1

Great App but Pro edition not so muchI travel a lot (103k to date 2019) and my corporate travel is through concur so TripIt is a vital app for me. The interface and 90% of the app is fantastic. However, the pro part is where I have a tough time warranting the $48 membership. After nearly a year use of this App through all 103k and 93 flights I can say that Pro is not worth the price. 1. Point tracker is worthless considering most airlines/hotels/car rentals all have their own apps and typically have the most current data. 2. Go now works in US but it is rare that it works international and you have to have the app “always” on to work feature. 3. Security wait times I think the number of airports this actually tells you info for is very limited 4. Lounge fairly useless for frequent travelers who have access to airline specific 5. International info, quick reference guide is nice but certainly not worth annual paid membership alone 6. Share with family/friend, would be worth it if they didn’t require a Pro membership to view it! 7. Flight change is worthless to me because everything needs to be done through my corporate travel agency 8. Flight delay I have found the airlines own apps to often be more current.Version: 12.1.0

Canada missingThis app works well but went to set up sms notifications and Canada is not on the list!.Version: 16.6.0

Helps build the excitement for a tripBeen using this app for years now, and still love going back to it when I'm about to go on another adventure. Really easy to upload your itinerary and see your plans laid out in a neat, accurate timeline..Version: 17.2.0

Wow. I love Tripit!!Firstly I love this app! I use it for our many trips and love that when I am doing an 8 week jaunt through 5 countries it will point out the odd missed night’s accommodation. The reason I am now writing a review though is the new covid tool on tripit pro. Wow! Fantastic. It is such a nightmare staying updated with such fast changing conditions but with this little addition it lays out, in an extremely clear and easy to understand format, the exact policies, current infection rate and requirements for each destination. Pure genius. Thank you Tripit!!.Version: 14.3.0

LOVE this app!Such a simple way to keep track of all your travel plans and itinerary and share with those who are travelling or those at home wondering where you are today. Highly recommend !.Version: 17.6.0

Mandatory App for a frequent travelerI travel every single week to multiple places for work. I no longer have to do the email searches on a Sunday night to figure out my schedule! I just open up TripIt. I trust it so much that if something is not showing then I made a booking mistake. Love it!.Version: 11.6.1

Can’t live without TripIt!This is one of my “must have” apps. Keeps our trips organised and all of the details and bookings together. My husband and I pay the annual fee for Pro version and find the features well worth the money. We often get a gate change text message from TripIt before this information is even displayed on the airport information boards. It doesn’t get better than that!.Version: 11.2.0

Love this appI travel extensively for work, and it's the only way I can track everything Also holds hubby's flights if I meet him halfway for weekend.Version: 10.1.0

FranciaJ’adore cette application et tout ce qu’elle me permet de conserver comme souvenirs de voyages. Merci infiniment. Francia.Version: 17.1.1

Won't travel without itFinding all your travel information in emails, calendar entries, itinerary PDFs etc is painful and problematic. Tripitt does it all for you. Just email your itinerary or dog is to the Tripit Travel Plans email address and TripIt automatically creates a detailed itinerary for you. Subscribe to your TripIt feed with your calendar app, and you'll have all your flights, accommodation, car rental and activities available at a glance..Version: 11.5.0

Brilliant app.First class - love it. Have now used TripIt for 11 years. Always impressed, never disappointed..Version: 16.7.0

Been using for several years, just gets better and betterI have become pretty dependent on this app for all my travel, this is the type of automation that really saves me tons of time and keeps me organised. Highly recommended for anyone who travels a lot.Version: 17.5.0

ExcellentWorks well. Imports most email bookings. Great graphical interface. Won’t travel without it..Version: 17.5.0

App doesn’t work well with SouthwestThe TripIt app is good, but has a few flaws that needs to be addressed. First, it doesn’t play well with Southwest. One thing I hate is having to check-in on my flight for Southwest. The TripIt app used to paste my confirmation number into the Southwest checkin field. TripIt now opens the Southwest app and you have to go back to TripIt and copy your confirmation number and then go back to Southwest app to paste the confirmation number into the Southwest apps checkin field. This is a pain and not worth paying a premium. Secondly, gate change notices during my last flight where delivered 15 minutes after boarding my flight from Louisville to Los Vegas. If I wouldn’t have noticed a bunch of people get up and leave the gate I would have missed my flight..Version: 12.1.0

WorldMate returnsI was a big fan of WorldMate until it got bought up by a business travel firm and mothballed for the public. It looks like it's rebranded and back again. It's awesome. Lovely app and easy to forward your booking emails then share your itinerary to friends or family members. Great you can see your arrangements on the widget too..Version: 11.7.0

A Must for Avid TravelersI travel 150k miles a year and this app makes my life so much easier before and during travels. Oftentimes, I know my flight is delayed before even heading to the airport because of pro features. I also know how to navigate complex airports when connections are tight. But my favorite (and free!) feature is when something is booked, it’s automatically in the app as a trip, and trips with multiple bookings, multiple destinations and legs are all organized nicely in order so I always have the full picture. When checking in or renting, I have the confirmation numbers right there so I never have to search through emails or print anything. If you want a more organized travel experience, I highly recommend this app..Version: 14.4.0

Great planning toolWe have used tripit for several trips. It’s very effective for keeping track of your trip details..Version: 16.6.0
