✓ MediocreI've bought four dictionaries for my itouch, two English - French, one English - Spanish and one French - Spanish from three different publishers/developers which I've been using regularly for the last couple of months. I've also downloaded half a dozen free ones. I have to say this is the worst. It's not a bad application per se as I can't say I've picked up on any recurring bugs, it's just it is such poor value for money compared to what else is out there. I would have also expected better from Collins having previously bought and found useful their paper dictionaries. The dictionary itself is very basic, definitions given for words are really stripped down, with very few examples given. In terms of functions, usability, it's not the worse, but - as abovementioned - there is better. Having a dictionary application in your itouch/iphone is good for when you want a quick definition, if you're out to learn a language seriously you would obviously back it up with a more substantial paper dictionary at home and then also online ones, but this is ridiculous. To sum it up, I wouldn't recommend it..Version: 3.02

This impedes usage of the app, forcing you to click through the pop-up, and is also, even existentially, extremely annoying. No one should be constantly asked to perform this free labour and service for an app that is so costly! ✓ MisleadingNot a bad app in terms of the translations available (although it is often sparse with its explanations of words and has hardly any usage examples) but I am VERY diappointed that the "Ability to change the font size in the word definitions" stated on the product overview is nowhere to be seen. I have checked the applications settings AND the iPod general settings and cannot find any means of adjusting the font size of the text. Even worse, the vendor's web site offers no help and no user manual. I would not buy any "MobiSystem" product in future based on this expereience. I wouldn't complain if the app was only 59p but at £5.99 you should at least expect features consistent with the vendor's description. I also agree with the other comments about the app ; it IS NOT a grammer tool. I feel a little cheated over this purchase..Version: 0

✓ Unnecessary actions neededThe dictionary is what it is, a sound medium-size bilingual dictionary. However, the latest update has added to the number of gestures needed to dismiss the last search and begin the next search. 1. You look up a word. 2. You have to click to get back to the search pane. 3. You have to click on the search pane to bring up the ‘delete’ x. 4. You then have to click on x to clear the pane. 5. You then have to click on the empty search pane in order to bring back the key board and begin a new search. Really, Mobisystems? It’s a bit of a Mobi-mess..Version: 10.0.3
