✓ Outstanding as alwaysI've been using these apps on iPhone and iPad since they were launched. They are outstanding and I think it a pity that folk write bad reviews when clearly they have not bothered to read the instructions or understand time differences. 7 days free. Further ahead you pay (a tiny fee). I cruise the Channel Islands, Normandy & N Brittany where tides are a bit crucial and never found a flaw. There is nothing to compare out there. ✓ Great App!**WHAT A REALLY USEFUL APP!** As a keen saltwater angler, a lot of my sea fishing is done from the shore so having information on the tide times, approx heights, current strength & direction etc, sun/moon rise & set times, to mention a few only, is really beneficial to me! I look ahead, cut/copy certain tides on certain days and plan from there which is essential, as you all know "Tide nor Time Wait For No-One" One thing I love is the ability to show the strength of the tide as it's making or ebbing, often the peak few hours at mid flood or mid ebb is a good time for fish coming on the feed so knowing when it is can be very beneficial! Just having this info 'in my pocket' is priceless!!.....thank you for this app.Version: 3.20
✓ Worth every pennyPurchased app just before a trip to Orkney and Shetland. I started using it to check on my planning but ended up using exclusively. It proved invaluable dealing with the strong currents especially when moving around the Orkney Isles and crossing the Pentland Firth.Version: 5.13

✓ Almost very goodThere is no doubt that this app provides very useful data at a reasonable price. You have tidal flows and tide tables and, by paying a subscription, can see a year in advance. However the system is let down (but not condemned) by its usability. It needs a much better user guide (what is the line with the blue arrow on the tide tables?). It wouldn’t take much to correct this but the current guide is clearly written by someone who knows all the answers so doesn’t think it worth writing them down! I would also like to see much better performance, in particular for the tidal flows, but that may be down to my IPad. I don't regret subscribing to it but do hope that they will have a concerted effort to improve its usability..Version: 4.90

✓ The best app for tidesExcellent: a wealth of information; once you have bought the appropriate licence, gives unrestricted dates which is a must (the restriction is UKHO's, not Tucabo's). Very quick to acknowledge a buglet & promise a fix soon: that level of support is unusual. Repays study in depth to find all the features, which because of the amount of information available are not always immediately obvious. ✓ Good tide information, well presentedBought this app so that I could plan scuba diving round tide times - it is fantastic, though you do have to buy the right license to plan more than a few days ahead. The graphical representation gives a very good idea of what to expect the water to do, currents to expect and when the safest times will be. The tabular information is good for the just curious to see what is going on virtually worldwide! I'm told its good for boating too, but I have found it invaluable!.Version: 4.10

✓ Excellent appConsidering that the UKHO will not release all the harmonics this is an excellent app. Yes, some of the times can be 30 minutes different to Admiralty figures but in the real world that, and a difference of 0.2 metres, is a very small margin to weigh against its usefulness. The graphics are very good and easy to interpret and the SR/SS very useful. Even if only used as a back-up it is a boon to tired single-handers as a comparison with a manual plot. To my mind, if you navigate to decimal places around lumpy shores then you are bound to experience the odd thump now and again. And all for less than £6! Herb S..Version: 3.01

✓ Excellent appI’ve used this app for many years and find it indispensable. It’s probably my most used app in the windsurfing and surfing seasons. Worth every penny. Of particular use is the ‘user port’ option, where you can set a custom tide height for a spot you know relative to an official spot. For example, at my most common windsurfing spot, I know the water is 1.5 metres shallower than the nearest official tides port, so once I’ve entered that offset into this app, I can find out the exact depth at any date and time. The user interface could be more intuitive, so I’d recommend reading the PDF manual from the developer’s website..Version: 4.90

✓ Excellent app bar absence of graph time-trackingIgnore the bad reviews by fools who do not understand that the extra cost would have to be paid with any service giving custom specific information, it is not available for less anywhere. Also this is of course a very nice functioning and convenient app. The only gripe is that the tide graph does not track with real time if it is lee open, one has to touch the screen to update it to the current time, which is somewhat irritating if you want to leave it in a picture-frame type mode, if referring to all the time rather than to get a specific tide..Version: 3.30
✓ Excellent tide App, I’ve used it for several yearsI just spotted to negative reviews here after recommending this app to a friend. I use this app for navigating my 2.3m draft fin keel yacht around the East Coast, it’s a critical part of my navigation procedure and wouldn’t be without out. I also use it daily for paddle boarding in the Thames Estuary and river Crouch/Roach area, again, I wouldn’t be without it in this shallow and highly tidal area. I also use it when away elsewhere in the UK surfing, paddleboarding and sailing. Two years ago sailing from the Pool to the Crouch it was the perfect tide app for my navigation. This is an excellent app and if you need a detailed and comprehensive tidal app then this is the one I recommend. It is easy to use, comprehensive, reliable and I will continue to subscribe to it for as many years as I sail, paddle and surf in the UK’s tidal waters..Version: 5.15

The sunrise and sunset lines are particularly useful, the ease of finding a particular height for a particular time and the ability to go back many years to check the tide heights for old photos are all excellent features..Version: 4.90

✓ Very useful tidal plannerI have used this app since 2014, paying for the full yearly data as it becomes available and accepting the fact that predictions are predictions and can be slightly different from actual live data on the day. I use it in many ways, for instance, advising non-commercial vessels (such as sail training craft) prior to their visiting our small port and supplying local charities with advanced tidal information for their future plans involving maritime activities. Being able to work with data at least a year in advance is most useful. Keep up the good work !!.Version: 5.8
✓ Best tide app for the price (but not free)Best tide app around - really. I'm not sure what the complaining is about. I bought this app when it was $2 up-front (not on the app store), and it has features normally found in similar apps selling for $10-15. Loads of US locations - I count about 20 near Paris Island alone while other apps often just show one. Also it has offline use (no connection required), nice data display, currents ….. I recently killed three other tide apps on my phone since I found I no longer used them since getting this app. As far as I can see, the negative comments are due to the "free" claim. Apparently that is just a limited demo. Probably not a good marketing tactic, but with so many tide apps out there you need some way to try-before-buy. Regardless, the app is a great bargain at the price. (Not affiliated in any way with anyone.).Version: 3.21

One thing that annoys me is every year you buy an extension you have to go through your favourites again and set them up, not just once, but on every devise. I have had none of these and I am impressed with the graphics and easy use of the app. It is very useful in showing tide heights for a certain time and tidal direction. Particularly when we consider that an iPhone is rarely provided by Apple for free! An excellent app, complimenting the other apps provided by the developer. Can’t think I’ll ever need another tide prediction tool and I certainly haven’t needed to draw a tidal graph since first taking this app on board over eight years ago! Very unusual to be able to note positive and objective responses to user feedback from the developer. Presumably these people have to be paid from the couple of pounds we pay for the annual usage! ✓ Superb App.I find this app excellent. I particularly like the tidal curves that I use to ensure I have enough water coming in and out of harbour. It’s simple and easy to use and a great asset to a coastal sailor like me. However recently the app crashes whenever I choose ‘currents’ which is annoying. The tide graph seems to be very accurate, which is impressive given that the HO does not provide full harmonics. Very pleased to see that the Hydrographic costs are now a one-off. ✓ Tidetable appDownloaded free looks great ,if you find that the tides are incorrect make sure your phone is set for correct time zone, Tide heights are slightly out due to the info given to the provider of the app .
