✓ Times 1 hour out in FranceHave been using this app happily for UK waters for two years but notice that in France the app is an hour out - even if set to use UTC ( which I think is best to avoid confusion with whether you have adjusted local time on device and whether app understands. "local time" to mean time on device or time based on time zone of selected port) Please correct as this could be critical if planning a passage through a tidal race or gate! To those complaining about inability to see tide for the following day just look at time difference between the two highs on the day you CAN view and add that on. It's close enough! Eg high tide today at 0530 and 1750. Difference is 12h 20m. High tide tomorrow will be 1750 plus 12:20 ie 06:10 and following will be 06:10 plus 12:20 ie 1830. ✓ V disappointingUpdated review after reinstalling 1 year later I STILL seem to be able to get all this and more with Boatie for much less. The interface STILL needs tidying up - I've no idea what to press. The meaning of some of the icons is really obscure - what are the scissors for? The in-app purchases are baffling. The vector version of the tidal streams maps are still awful zoomed in. The right hand side of the tide info page is crazy - what's the moon image for, why can I tap on one moon and get info but not the other, and the up and down arrows, do the colours mean anything? Make it all black and white and then start adding colour in a meaningful way. After a year, I find no reasons to give this useless app anything more than 1 star. I STILL regret paying for this. ✓ Tide table only freeLooks useful, but I can’t access anything other than today’s tide table in the free version? Thought it might at let me see today’s tidal streams. ✓ GarbageWhat is the use of a tide planner if you can't plan ahead. This version is broken. One thing I hate about Apple is they like it when updates break software. It forces users to pay for a new version or else shove annoying ads down your throat. This particular app is useless because it no longer lets you look ahead to another day. I get an error message telling to change a setting that cannot be changed. You get today's tides or any tide information you want in 2009 or 2010. See what I mean about useless. Software should get better not worse over time. I think I will start my own software company and simply make software that works instead of junk that doesn't. ✓ Limited date rangeI bought the Tides 2012 data for this app, but it still won't show me tides for more than one day; it seems this is due to a restriction imposed by the HO, but it would have been nice to know in advance. The app also says it has tidal streams, but this only seems to be for the UK. Integrates well with Imray Charts, so this is a reason to buy..Version: 3.21
✓ Ok but confusingThere's so much here and the many icons are "mystery meat" (don't know what's hiding underneath until you click on them). Somehow I managed to get to England when my only chart was in Australia, and I changed the tide height magically and can't reset it. ✓ Cannot be trustedTheir Tide data is regularly late for any given High and Low tides date by as much as 35 mins for our local waters. A late Low Tide = navigating a skinny channel at night, thinking you've still got 30mins before low tide .... only to suddenly hit the bottom - ran aground !!.Version: 3.10

✓ S TowersI’ve used this for over a year now. It tries to be too clever by half. Most people want simple tide information, they don’t want sliders to change CD or draught especially when your instruction manual is so rubbish. It is far too easy to get the wrong info. To confound things, what you see on the screen doesn't match what you are told you should see on the screen, eg depth in the app is really charted depth. This is basic stuff and needs to be right. I stopped using the tide feature because running my boat aground because of a misplaced slider in the app is not something I’m prepared to do. I do like the tidal stream feature very much. It is great for passage making decisions and is my go to solution for this. It is why I still have the app. I have written to you and you have acknowledge the issues, yet nothing has been done. This app could be one of the best, instead it has been allowed to fail. Imray are a serious player and need to sort this..Version: 5.10

Annoyingly, this apps asks every time for you to click the "accept" button concerning the app's data accuracy and liability (a one-time opt-in would be fine, but this is really not user friendly). ✓ Poor display of informationIt is not at all clear what the under keel clearance is. You can set a draft and a depth but the you have to move the cursor to get any sort of reading or display. Neither is it clear what the figures on the cursor are! What is needed is a depth and draft input that when overlayed on the tidal graph immediately gives you the danger part of the graph that can the be measured by the cursor to get the limiting times..Version: 5.13

The only obvious part of interface is - how to buy a subscription. Still, (free) NZ subscription doesn't seem working (I believe I have enabled it once, but now it doesn't work again - another puzzle?). I, personally, settled another app which shows less data, but let's me grasp it in a glance. ✓ Excellent data, quirky clumsy UIThis provides all the data you would expect from an app of this sort. Data is very reasonably priced, per year and per geographical region. I use this app a lot. Yet I find myself cursing its odd user interface. When one gesture should be enough, I’ll find myself making several presses and cursing a wrong turn. I always get what I need in the end, but often with frustration. A short exercise in UI and UX design would see this app elevated to magical status. Come on Imray, have a go!.Version: 5.13

The number of steps required to get current location tide data is excessive. This freeware is limited to todays tides only so you need to buy the full version to see tomorrow. In reviewing the full version it appears to be subscription based so it must be repurchased annually. That's not how I want to buy or use a tide program. ✓ Brilliant for water sports but subscription problemsI've been an annual subscriber for several years and find this an excellent package, giving good detail and allowing you to calculate tidal heights for landmarks with ease, although having only seven day data makes planning ahead a bit difficult. A good app nonetheless. However, I'm annoyed at present because, having purchased a two year subscription, it is no longer recognising my payment and therefore I've no access to the seven day data, only one day at a time. This ceased in November 2016, though I paid for 2016 and 2017. I see there is small print saying that if you change tablets or phones you may have to repurchase. None of my other apps have required this, it's linked to my payments not my tablet. I'm peeved at this and though it's not expensive I resent being required to pay again..Version: 4.65

✓ An ambitious effort, but a confusing user interfaceThere's a ton of data presented in this app, but the numerous cryptic buttons and unlabeled numbers make it a jumble of unusable information. I'm sure the developer can figure out how to use it and what it all means, and maybe you can too, but it's not an app you can just open up and use. ✓ InaccurateApart from the fact that you are restricted to 7 days in the paid version, the predictions for Aberystwyth are inaccurate by 30-40 minutes! I know this as I already use two very reliable sources and as a boat owner have verified these two independent sources against my own experience - they also agree with one another. I wanted something for my phone that showed a tide profile and heights versus times for any part of the curve. I got this but if it is not accurate it's a complete waste of time..Version: 3.21

✓ Very useful app but...I use it on a constant basis as a live reference but always combined with proper written tidal documents. Great tool but I noticed some slight difference in water level & important time differences between actual CCG ( Canadian) tides publications and prediction in TP that ranges from a few minutes to +/- 35 minutes in some locations for the past 3 years. Still using it as a quick reference once I know the daily variations..Version: 4.63
