✓ Stopped supporting my iOSI live stream the news on this app every evening on an old iPad. Tonight the app requires that I upgrade, only it turns out that the app no longer supports iOS 10 or 11. I guess I will no longer be able to watch my favorite local news station, and will have to switch to watching the competition..Version: 6.2.2
✓ No full screenI use to watch the morning news on this app every morning. A few months ago they eliminated the full screen option. I am now using another local news program with full screen option..Version: 7.1.0
✓ Video section of app is terribleWhen you start a video, it is very difficult to stop them. There is no obvious exit button and after many minutes of frustrating pushing in different parts of the screen which opens advertisements a “x” finally appears in the upper left corner. When that is pushed it completely exits the app. GARBAGE! This app needs some serious work.Version: 6.7.0
✓ Expected moreThe professionalism of WFTV channel 9 on tv has always drawn me in. Why I’ve been a loyal viewer for 25 years. But your websites/apps are horrible!! Not user friendly. To watch channel 9 is impossible to actually watch. It’s first so many ads to watch to get to it, then it’s always way behind, not live. I seriously expected so much more out of the weather app. The daily is not user friendly nor the radar. As much as I love channel 9, I always use a different app for news and weather. ✓ CommercialsDon’t bait us with important news and then make us wait through long commercials. Just start out, “This news is being brought to you by “such and such” company. Then get to the news. Your listeners would so appreciate that consideration and would probably be more willing to check out your sponsors because you cared about getting the news out to them. This is especially important when we are in crisis mode and concerned for our loved ones. Can you imagine Paul Revere being held at the highway being preempted by a commercial while trying to get the message out, “The Red Coats are coming!”.Version: 8.3.4

Now, you have to hit the home button and have to scroll back to the spot you were at. PLEASE CHANGE THIS BACK! It’s so annoying! ✓ TerribleThis app is absolute trash. It’s very difficult to find articles, if they’re not one of the five displayed on the main page. Then it’s filled with so many ads, there’s more ads than story once you open an article. It’s disappointing that such a good news station has such a terrible app..Version: 8.8.2

✓ Commercials TOO LoudLove the information that is given. Love the content. Love the personalities. But why are the commercials so loud? I have the app on my Apple 4K Tv device and the content is so much lower in volume than the commercials that are being played. I have adjusted my volume settings on my actual tv but that just makes the volume of the news content lower to the point that I have to keep the remote handy to asjust the volume. ✓ Never works for live updateEvery time I get a notification for a live update on something happening and I go to the app I get a commercial that runs for about 30 seconds and then the app crashes. As long as I’ve had the app I have never been able to see a live update. I can read the stories once they post them..Version: 8.3.4
✓ Horrible updateSince the update, they took out the back button requiring you to tap the home button instead. No search feature and, more often than not, when you try to tap on a story, it kicks you completely out of the app. A roomful of monkeys could have done better with this update. ✓ Love the newscasts, the app: not so much!I truly enjoy the newscasters; the team’s chemistry is awesome. They bring the audience in and captivate us with their humor. ✓ Get notification about bad weather and shows commercialsGet notifications about ‘bad weather, watch now for the latest’. So when I click to watch ‘live’ I have to watch commercial's first. I totally understand sponsorship and having commercials added, but don’t have them be the 1st thing I have to watch. By the time the commercials are over the broadcast is over. How helpful is that?? ✓ Forever unproofreadFor every article there’s a minimum of 2 simple English mistakes! It’s as if there’s is absolutely nobody in charge of proofreading before it’s sent out. Even my elementary children point these constant errors out. It’s almost as if the people ‘typing’ just don’t care and are in a hurry. ✓ Stop playing videos with sound!Anytime I hit the notification to read the news article you have it set to auto play a video or ad on speaker even when the video is clearly on mute. Please stop. I want to read it not hear about it or anything else. It’s annoying..Version: 8.8.3
✓ MediocrityMore times than not, the news articles are poorly written and don’t seem to be edited at all. The grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure is embarrassing. News is not updated often enough and articles seem to be on repeat. I rarely get the headlines and bullet point that I’m looking for which is why I downloaded the app in the first place..Version: 8.4.4
✓ News coverage.Would like to see fair and balanced coverage of news items. So many things covered are sensational and help drive ratings . I understand that. What is missing is the background or follow up. Like it’s ok to see a home burning but go back and see the progress of repairs or the continuing issues of this family getting to normal. Following a drunken driving incident do a background or follow up on the people involved. They don’t have to be exposes but a little better. Crime coverage. See a lot of crying family members , which could be expected, but what’s the background. Wrong place at the wrong time or did their lifestyle lead to them becoming a statistic. Is a law enforcement officer justified or wrong in a case or the chain of events leading to the encounter. Just try to be fair. I will filter out what I think is biased coverage . I think you do pretty good in our climate of news coverage..Version: 8.2.1
