✗ Simple Spades has missed the mark with this updateI normally don’t write reviews for apps because I usually feel like people can make up their own minds without reading what I have to say, but on this app I felt like I needed to break my own rule. I have been a long time user of the older version of this spades game. I actually held off upgrading my IOS version when I got a message that this older version would not run on v11 of IOS. But alas a new cell phone forced me to the new version of both. I must say this version of the game misses the mark badly. They took away the ability to “pick” your level of opponent hence you lose the ability of choosing the AI personality to play against. This new version I have found on both hard and hardest level they AI spends so much time trying to give you bags it rarely makes it own bid. I have played at least a dozen games so far and I have yet to see my opponent with a positive score. Then speaking of scoring. They have changed the scoring or bags taking away the idea of “team” and making even your partner play low to not get bags even if you bid nil. Of which the old version game you a 100 points for and this one gives you 50 with no way to set it how you want. Overall I used to play this game for stress relief now I find myself more stressed after trying to play it. My advice, pass this version up. I feel robbed having paid again for this update just to have the ads removed..Whowants2Version: 3.2.5

✗ What happened to Spades King?!I used to have Spades King, which was a decent game despite too many ads. Today it updated and was replaced with Simple Spades, which is just awful. Dumbest AI I've ever seen and minus a lot of the nice features of Spades King like the score graph and hand histories. Terrible, terrible game now!.March 1 2016 ReviewerVersion: 3.2.1
