✓ It’s decent howeverIt’s a good calendar app however I just don’t see how it’s so special that I have to become a slave to them & pay £4.49 every year. It does what every other calendar does with a few exceptions still does not warrant a fee like that to be paid every year. With a fee like that, I would expect regular updates and improvements on the app but have not seen anything. The app is really basic and the layout is not too clever, looks a bit boring. The only good thing is you can customise colour and add the whole month or two weeks as a widget to Home Screen so you can see upcoming events without opening the app. Other then that, it’s not worth the money..Version: 15.0
✓ Preferred old versionI've been using this app for years. It's been very useful. Especially for shift work. However, I honestly preferred the old version. And my biggest bug bear is that my events just randomly disappear. Regularly. Yes they come back eventually. And no it has nothing to do with iOS updates or general settings. It is just a regular fault that happens and is extremely frustrating! Seeing as it’s an app that I pay for as well..Version: 11.0.1
✓ Adding Calendars impossibleSubscribed calendars cannot be shared across devices. I subscribed to a calendar and found it impossible to share it from my iPhone to my ipad. Useless subscription. Was going to upgrade and pay for this as it LOOKED like the calendar to have but developer does not respond. ✓ The paid version has adverts for apps2023 the repeat function was almost removed I was able to repeat using number of days eg 6 or number of weeks now you have to input the date it finishes if it’s a 17 day thing it’s really awkward Expensive you need to buy every year When you add a repeat entry you now have to specify the dates Up to a few months ago you could choose number of days Eg 7 days or 14 days now you have to count 14 days to see what date is so you can enter it very long winded way of adding a simple reat.Version: 17.0.1

✓ Good app, poor upkeepI use this app every day, and I am very reliant on it to a certain extent. I am a shift worker and I am a keen follower of rugby, football and Moto GP. And for these reasons, the app is very useful. I pay every year to keep my calendar valid for each year so it's not even a free app... I would expect the upkeep of the sporting schedules to be on point. I decided to email the company asking if they were going to update the rugby schedule for the 6 nations 2018 and 2019 because after all, a calendar is there for forward planning.. I was assured that it would be sorted. Still nothing! And I've even email again since and was assured AGAIN as the recipient of the email was also a keen rugby fan, that this would be sorted... but still nothing. And now with the 6 nations around the corner, there's hardly any point in sorting it. It also seems like the moto GP has been neglected too, as the 2018 dates have been released for a while and still no updates on the app. Just so frustrating that you're letting this app down by not doing the simple things like keeping up to date! On the plus side, you do keep your football fixtures up to date. Please sort this out and I will happily give the 5* this app deserves..Version: 11.1
✓ FrustratingI have had this calendar for well over a year now, paid for it thinking it was going to be a better set up only to find out that whatever I’ve set as a repeat roster disappears and is really frustrating when you want to check your schedule. ✓ AgendaAwesome app. But Doesn't list civic holidays however which is a point against, would be nice to have the option to write a note for a specific day as opposed to having to create an event. For example say child lost first tooth, rode bike solo first time etc-- a note option would be great. Otherwise I use this app daily. It takes a bit of time to type in but does lessen hassle of having to carry daily planner Update: event text colour keeps changing black/white why is this? ✓ App keeps CrashingI loved this calendar app up until this morning. It had all of the features (plus some) that I have been looking for. However, after inputting some events this morning, the app crashed. No matter what I have done (turn off my phone, delete and reinstall app) the app keeps crashing. I emailed the company. Hoping that this can be resolved. All of my other apps and phone functions are working perfectly fine and I haven’t updated or installed anything different over the past several days Update: have been in touch with the developer. They have been very attentive. They are trying to replicate the crash. I have also been doing some investigating on my own. ✓ I prefer Calvetica but that kept wiping my dataI prefer the design and functionality of calvetica by far. It annoys me that I can’t choose the order the events are displayed in PocketLife . Ie the longer events lasting days are displayed over the top of the daily events so you can’t read them. Stupid! It doesn’t seem to zinc with my iPhone calendar which, when tho I don’t use ALL the other apps do when creating events so everything has to be added manually. Lots of other things bug me to but there aren’t many colour coded calendar apps so I’ll stick it out here (event tho I got duped into paying $8) till I find something better as I can’t see this getting any prettier.Version: 11.1
✓ Sooo much wasted timeI bought this to simplify my life to add appointments on my irregular work schedule, my work schedule keeps on disappearing, I have been using this calendar for year but now it’s just getting too complicated and un efficient as I’m wasting so much time, not worth the money anymore… keep things simple!! ✓ Love this app other than one thingLove this app other than one thing. It tries to be clever by moving your text input into different fields (eg typing more than one word into title field often results in the app removing the second word automatically and putting it into location, meaning I have to remove the text from location and put it back where I wanted it in title every time I add an event. Changes your entries into different dates too, thinking it’s being clever and you’ve done it wrong. Please remove these feature as it’s not as clever and you think.Version: 12.1.2
✓ Love but mostly DislikeI was looking for a shareable calendar with a good weekly view. This certainly fits the bill with two weekly view options. As well, the monthly view gives an excellent detailed glimpse of events. As opposed to an iOS calendar you can actually see all events without going to the individual day which is exactly what we wanted. The cons: syncing and sharing is poor. I spent a considerable amount of time formatting the calendar how we wanted it to look for best visibility and planning, shared it...and none of those edits transferred. When it synced to my iPad, none of those edits transferred. When I followed troubleshooting, deleted and reinstalled, all edits were gone along with several hours of my time and patience. As well, family sharing doesn’t work for the full version of this app, so it’s a rip off. That means the husband paid $4.99, didn’t get any of my careful edits, I have to pay $4.99 and edit all four versions of the calendar (phones and tablets). This is a yearly charge as well 😤 While there’s some useful tools in this and we will be using it for the moment, I’m certainly looking around for a more functional option. Please developers, instead of focusing so much on pointless design functions give up better syncing and sharing..Version: 12.1.2

✓ Okay but chose to uninstallI’ve had this installed for a while. It’s okay but there’s not really anything remarkable about to warrant the yearly fee. I just recently opened it and it greeted me with “pay to access 2018 in full”. My response? Delete the app and go for an alternative which is immediately as good or better. Like I say, nothing hugely wrong about it, but it’s equally not fantastic enough to justify regular demands for money (in my opinion). Edit: I received a ‘developer response’ and a prompt to update my review, so I’ve removed one star and taken it down to two. As they rightly say, some apps come and go. For that reason I recommend downloading the Google Calendar, which is very unlikely to go anywhere and is free from charges. Oh, and the phrase: “Our many thousands of long term users all over the world know they can trust us with their life." You’re lucky I didn’t knock two stars off for that one!.Version: 11.1

✓ Used for years but getting expensive£3 to use next year's calendar is getting a bit ridiculous. I do like this app and don't want to have to migrate everything to another, but the thought of having to spend £3 each year (until they increase it again) is making me think it's worth it. ✓ BIG RIP OFFDo not buy this calendar I purchased it for both my iPhone and iPad and when I purchased the app in 2019 it wasn’t listed a requiring a yearly fee it was a listed one time and done purchase. Having purchased the app for a one time fee I had no issues with having access to the calendar in 2019, 2020, & 2021. However, they decided to get greedy and changed the rules they are now requiring me to buy it again to have access to the calendar. You are better off buying a calendar app that doesn’t look for anyway it can rip you off to stuff their pockets. I will be filing a complaint with Apple as you shouldn’t be made to buy an app that you have already purchased. The app will now be deleted from my devices and I will never buy another app from this company. I will also warn my family, friends, coworkers, and others to not buy apps from this company!.Version: 15.0
✓ Life is more difficult with this app because of its time zone issuesThis app’s “Time Zone override” settings are absolutely terrible. I have showed up at the wrong time for multiple events this month because the app changes the time your event is displayed based on what time zone you’re in. And even when you click “time zone override off,” then you’re stuck with all your events being shown in one timezone. So if you have an event in NYC, but your time zone is set to Los Angeles, it shows you your event as what time it is in LA, not in NYC (where you need to be). If you book at flight leaving at 3:30 Mountain Time and when you book it, you’re on a computer in PST, it’ll change the flight time to PST. It’s happened to me twice in the past week. I just got to a flight an hour early bc PocketLife changed my flight time to what time it would be in Oregon, despite the fact that I’m flying out of Montana..Version: 12.1.2
✓ ReviewI haven’t written a review in a while but I feel like I should write this one. I think pocketLife has some nice features. The fact it they can’t make it work properly for some features that they have which makes it very annoying. And a huge one for me is when he gets towards the later part of the year if you happen to want to put something on your calendar for the following year you have to go in by the calendar for the following year, or 4 or five months before the end of the year because it won’t let you put anything on next year’s calendar without the purchase again. I’m actively Little by little switching my stuff over to Google Calendar because that really works the best and gives you the most options. It’s also very easy to use.Version: 15.0
✓ Event reminders have stopped workingPlease fix this important feature, otherwise there is no reason to continue paying to keep this app. In follow-up to your company’s AppStore ‘review auto-response’, I received email from the company, directing me back to the website to basically figure things out myself. We are in an age of fast-paced living with device apps needing to work. Companies not showing genuine personalized customer support will find those same customers only taking a certain amount of time to self-sleuth with app issues. If you’re not willing to assist those taking the time asking for guidance, that is the point at which customers lose interest and walk away from your products. It’s just that simple. I leave it to your company whether someone actually provides interest in fixing issues that could impact others as well, or if nothing further is done, and folks ‘walk away’. ✓ Date doesn’t update!!The fact that the date on the calendar little red circle doesn’t update automatically at midnight has had me scrambling multiple times when I glance at my phone and it’s showing the wrong date!! ✓ I used to love this appI use the app everyday and would be lost without it. its colours and versatility is great. I book all my clients in it and use different colours for clients, bills, me time etc. My weekly schedule is very colourful. However, in the last while I am unable to search for past client appointments and notes, when I hit the search button it just has a grey box over my calendar and says loading ……. For ever. Don’t know what’s going on, but I’ll have to find a better app, I can’t risk losing or not being able to access client info..Version: 17.2.5

✓ MisleadingI purchased this calendar app and realised that the purchase was only for next year. It is therefore NOT a purchase but an annual subscription. When I removed the widget and the app from my Home Screen it made chaos of all the folders of apps I had on my home screens. I will not use this app and will accept the loss of money as a lesson. ✓ Calendar items get deletedI have used this app for about 6 years. In the last year ALL of my past calendar entries have been deleted twice. The second time just happened and I’m angry! I did nothing to have them deleted, I just opened my calendar right now to everything being gone for a second time. ✓ Can’t believe I paid for this.I have 3 major issues with this app. 1. Sometimes after filling out all the details of a specific date and reminder for an appointment, when I press “add” nothing is documented or saved and I’ll have to fill it out all over again. 2. When adding a day that has the actual day in the title (e.g Good Friday) the day doesn’t show up and only comes up as “good” forcing me to double back and rewrite the title again. This sometimes happens with names also, they show up in the “location” instead of the title where I intend them to be. 3. Recently I have been trying to save reminders for weekends in the future (which is what calendars are meant to do) however when I attempt to save the information, it saves to the date we are currently in. This has happened the last 20 times I’ve tried to save important dates. For an app that asks for a yearly payment, this is unacceptable and I will not be renewing subscription..Version: 12.1.2

✓ Weird Entries in NotesJust bought the app this week and I like the layout and all the customization. There is one issue that is driving me nuts & that is under Notes it randomly enters X-OVAL-KEY-COLOR-[a bunch of numbers & letters]. It mostly appears under the IOS calendar but sometimes under the Pocket Life calendar also. I delete it and it keeps coming back. I use the Note Section & I also use the IOS calendar and don’t want a bunch of writing there mixed in with my notes. Another issue is the backgrounds I set up on my iPhone didn’t stick and I had to redo them (my iPad was OK). Not a huge issue but since I am here thought I would mention it..Version: 17.2.5
✓ Great app- can’t do without it.When I went from my iPad to iPhone this app was one of the first apps I downloaded. Very easy interface and I love that you can customise everything. I even noticed the add photo at the bottom. There is one thing I would like to have is a way to upload a document especially if it’s a hospital appointment. Going to hospital and being in a wheelchair as well made getting my folder out is a nightmare. It would have helped enormously. Or add another photo so I can at least have the first page to hand! On the second review, I’ve knocked off a couple of stars. This is due to in setting you can set the time intervals to 1,3,5, etc. I’m quite busy and I want 1 minute intervals. After doing a couple of events it automatically goes back to 5 min intervals. It’s so annoying..Version: 14.9
✓ We're splitting upI started using this calendar a few years ago. Loved it because I could create separate colored templates easily for separate events or people. Was easy to use. I didn't like paying 99cents a year for it, but liked it enough to. I used version 6.1- it was my favorite- would Bluetooth sync from my iPhone 6 to my iPod touch 3rd gen. But much has changed. 6.1 crashes on everything new. Updated, even though I didn't want to. The newer interface is quite frankly, ugly. And I don't judge by looks, but personality and usability. It's not as easy for me to navigate as it use to be. But the biggest turnoff? The $2.99 a year. Yeah- I know- all the calendars are going this route- 'nickel and diming' us to death. Out of all of them out there- for functionality- this one is the best. But I cannot justify the price anymore. Back to the native calendar I go... 😞.Version: 11.1

✓ GreatThis app was my life! I work away so I found it easy to put my rostered time home and then book all my appointments accordingly. I recently went to start making some plans for the new year and noticed the price hike and then a restriction on data I can enter for the year? So I can’t put anything else in, Not sure when that’s been a thing but with only 15 days left of 2017 it’s not really worth the upgrade. Probably won’t purchase again..Version: 11.1
