✓ A great app for non-math majors!I was hesitant at first to even get a calculator that looks so complicated, but once you learn what the symbols mean, it's pretty intuitive. For only a few bucks, you get the equivalent of an HP10bii, but with a full viewing screen (you can even use their manual online to learn the functionality of this app). More than that,you got the full mortgage list for month(if you choose month). It is awesome! I use a HP 10 Bii every day for work for the last 3 years and will easily see this replacing it in every instance other that multiple calculator work at my desk. Though that being said the saved calculations feature may prove to replace that as well. I wish it had a canadian localization for some of the cooler features such as easy calc with email export however even without it, this calculator app is mind blowing that it beats my 100$ store bought calc hands down. ✓ LegitThis calculator is great. I have compared it to my actual HP 10bii and the answers are the same. I noticed some of the other reviewers mentioned that their answers were off by a couple hundred or thousand dollars. I had this problem when I first downloaded and thought the calculator was trash. But then I noticed that the Payments Per Year (which is visible right under the answer display) was set to 12. I believe the HP 10bii is factory set to 1 Per Year. You can change this setting by selecting the three lines in the upper right-hand corner, clicking Settings, and just typing in 1 for Payments/Year. After I changed this setting, my answers matched exactly. Additionally, make sure your display is set to more than one zero for intermediate calculations. Your answers will be off by a couple cents or dollars if you are rounding up intermediate calculations while working out a problem. You can do this by clicking a number (for example, select the number 4 for four zeros to display) then click the Orange button and then the Equal sign and it’ll display your selected number of zeros. Overall great calculator and the layout is perfect!.Version: 4.9.8
✓ Great app!So convenient to use this iPhone app vs buying and carrying around a separate HP. I downloaded it for a class where we used it, and it actually has WAY more features than the actual HP 19Bii! (Not to mention the cost is super competitive compared to the actual handheld calculator, and way more handy). Downside is that most instructors' demos are not familiar with this app, and you have to learn all those extra features and quirks on your own. That's ok for me. The developers very clearly extended the app WAY far beyond the calculator, and now it performs like a rudimentary spreadsheet. No way you can use the original HP in the same way..Version: 4.0.4

✓ Very very goodThis is a very good translation of the 10bII. It has all the original functionality and more. Graphs, colour, parameter values displayed above the keys, video and text tutorials and it keeps the original look and keyboard layout. I thrashed this in my Finance classes and it beats the original calculator (which I've sold) hands down for ease of use and visual feedback. ✓ Pretty good. No paper tape mode.The calculator is pretty good, although the graphics are not nicely designed to uses an everyday calculator. A little tweaking of the sizes of the fonts would help. The idea of the extra cost easy modes is great, but the ones that I would really want to do such as retirement amortization and budgeting aren't there. I wish that the calculator had a paper tape. ✓ Great app!I don't rate 5-stars often. This app just works, and is exactly what I need for my work. It has become my go-to mobile calculator, and I've tried out many. I use the finance calculations, especial cost/price/margin, everyday in my work. I checked the functionality of the RND button that another reviewer dinged the app for, and it works. Some of the functionality of the app is a little odd, an HP thing. I had trouble figuring out some other functions, and actually found a sequence of button presses that would crash the app. I emailed the developer, and within an hour had a link to the full HP manual for the calculator that I downloaded, and a request from them on how to replicate the crash so they could fix the bug. ✓ I Love this API love this AP. It can solve any financial problem I need. I use it daily for financial planning and as a regular calculator. The numbers printed above the PV, PMT, FV, I/YR and N keys are great. I noticed a review claiming an incorrect calculation. After reading the review it looks like the user had the decimal place setting to two places and was expecting a result with 3 places. I had this problem too but found that the number of decimal places can easily be re-set to whatever you want and there is a terrific help section that will explain how and answer many other questions as well. ✓ Simply awesome!!Just started taking notice of how I spent my hard earned money and stumbled on this amazing, daunting at first, little app. I calculated one amort table for only one loan and noticed a discrepancy in the payment amount. Contacted the bank. Not only did I not buy their explanation, but also learned that I was paying way more interest than I should!! Just that amount saved by switching this balance to a lower interest is enough to buy this app over and over and over.
