Pick your striker, slider variable weight and hardness, felt, wood, rubber etc. The ability to set the dominant tone A to G, can't be that tricky, ummm 7 iPads to play a virtual chakra set, ok zoom the screen. ✓ Beautiful look and soundI had this on my iPod touch and was pleased to see an iPad version was now available. making good use of the iPad's bigger screen this app provides a collection of tibetan bowls and tingsha that you can play by tapping or running your finger around the rim of the bowl. the sounds are high quality and the experience is fun, meditative and relaxing. if there was one small change i would like to see it's a softer sound for the big brass bowls in the corners - other than that it's great and you really do feel like you're playing the bowls with your finger..Version: 0

✓ Great Meditative Experience!I'm not sure that potential purchasers understand these bowls and bells are used for meditation in Tibet. If you close your eyes and spread the fingers of one hand over the screen and slowly move your hand around, it's calm and peaceful. When you do that, you will interact with several of the bowls. When you stop, the overtones go on for some time as they very slowly fade out. As the product description says, headphones are best. Highly recommended!!!.Version: 1.0.1

This could solve the issue many people seem to have with wanting to listen without playing as they could route the audio to one of the many recorders available to create a library of their own performances. I see many musical possibilities with the app that I would love to explore if I could route it to effects or capture the audio. Audiobus would make this app a very useful tool for me. *update* Still one of my favorite apps and they just updated it to continue to work on modern hardware and new versions of the OS.
