✓ Great first attemptThis really is an excellent app, the layout is designed beautifully for ipad, the content loads quickly, its free, pictures look good. I like that the app is available in different languages, but one feature missing is the ability to click on a word, in say French, and have a pop-up of the English translation (or vice-versa). This would dramatically increase the customer base if people can use this app to read the news and learn French at the same time. I know this is not your goal, but it would encourage usage. Keep updating the app, tweaking it and adding new features please. its very good so far. well done.Version: 0

✓ Major stability problems on iphone& ipadIve been a deducated and appreciative watcher of France24 for several years which I have always considered this the best news app available. . In the last year or so the app crashes, freezes and will not restart. It will not run after having deleted the app and downloaded it repeatedly from the Apple App store. ✓ Needs ImprovementI use this app often but it needs a design revamp. It’s clunky and cramped. The videos don’t play in the background when you minimize the app. You also cannot play the videos in the background while looking at something else inside the app. Also: PLEASE update the news thread so it doesn’t snap back to the top of the thread every time you exit an article. French student this is such a great asset - watch/listen to news in French and try and work out what is being said, then switch to English and see how close you were. I would have given 5 stars if the interface were clearer or there was a help file - every time I go to use it it takes me about 5 minutes to work out what is going on and what a tap will initiate.
