Tempo Advance - Metronome for Positive User Reviews

Absolutely BrilliantA vital tool for any hard working musician..Version: 2.2.2

Worth the money! My guitar teacher suggested I buy this app because of its abilities to set and keep polyrhythmic time. The pleasant clave sound of the clicks is a huge improvement over the noises my prior free metronome app made. While it is a bit challenging to navigate and has many more features than I will likely ever need, the ones I use regularly have proven to be well worth the small purchase price. Musically I have improved by using this app..Version: 2.4

Excellent !Finding this to be invaluable for really getting to grips with Polyrhythms. Time spent when first getting the app, to understand its functionality, is well rewarded by how it becomes an integral part of your drumming armoury..Version: 2.2.2

This is greatThis a very good app to keep you awake at the wheel.Version: 2.4

SuperbAn absolute must if you want to progress with intermediate to advanced skills. Great.Version: 2.0.1

Good product.Excellent metronome, the only thing to make it better would be a MIDI out or even audiobus..Version: 1.4.1

Been Using It for YearsI use this app regularly. Although I’ve been using it for a number of years, I only just now took advantage of the automated tempo-advance feature. Very helpful for bringing a guitar version of a fiddle tune up to speed. (Actually it was a transcription of a Michelle McLaughlin piano piece, but you get the point!). This app and the “Anytune Pro” app have been VERY helpful with my transcription work..Version: 2.2.4

Plenty of creative practice optionsHaving so much control over the beats lets me use the metronome to test and practice my time rather than use the metronome as a crutch. It also has some mixed meter functions that make practicing something like John Adams much easier but I wish it was easier and quicker to make those programs..Version: 2.4

Just get it!!If your looking for a metronome, then look no further, this one does the job perfectly, could not recommend it enough.Version: 2.2.2

Great appVery easy to use much better than the first one.Version: 0

PolyrhythmsReally good metronome / polyrhythm workout. If give it 5 stars if it had the facility to mute clicks or program it so that it didn't click for a designated time, thus allowing us to work in our inner timing..Version: 2.0.3

Love itAs a professional musician I have to say that Tempo does everything I need it to and more..Version: 2.1

Wicked metronome! The perfect app for what it is. Does everything you'd expect, really really well, and the setlist feature is brilliant! As a drummer I use it constantly!.Version: 1.4

Great Reliable Metronome.Does what it says in an easy to use manner. I wouldn’t look anywhere else. The odd meters are great too if you’re a prog or jazz player looking too tighten up your odd time chops..Version: 2.4

Good apps.Love it!.Version: 2.0.2

Definitely solid, and more...And I agree wholeheartedly with Phelan’s review. It’ll do anything you want/need it to - I really wanted to like other metronomes. But Frozen Ape metronomes are just more solid- don’t crash and work right all the time. And also- per $money?... get the Tempo app if you don’t need this much subdivisional horsepower. Maybe START working on your subdivisions and poly rhythms if you haven’t, with this! Happy subdividing dudes!.Version: 2.3.1

My favorite metLiterally my favorite metronome that I’ve been using for probably 6 or 7 years. No other met has the options that I love about this app. Between the range of subdivisions and polyrhythms this app is amazing..Version: 2.4

Tempo Advance UpdateAt first I was in shock because my iPhone auto updated this app and I couldn’t immediately figure out how to use it like I was used to. But after searching out the new features I have found amazing improvements and additions to an already solid app. I emailed frozen ape with my concerns about the forward and back buttons being too small and within 48 hours they came out with an update that includes “gig mode” which makes it just as easy to move through a set list as a “brick and mortar” metronome. The new polyrhythmic features are incredible, also being able to program tempo changes and having bluetooth availability for pedals is vital. thanks to the ape for a great app!!.Version: 2.0.1

BPMs keep switchingI'm really enjoying this app - well done! I'm just having a problem with my track bpms being switched. Setting them is no problem, but they keep being reversed with each other. Is this a glitch or am I missing a step?!.Version: 0

Brilliant updateThis was pretty good before, but a monster update has made it really, really good..Version: 1.3

A couple issues but AMAZINGI use this for guitar exercises and it’s absolutely amazing. It’s also awesome for writing music. I feel though as the iOS for Apple has updated I’ve noticed a few hiccups. I use the increase in tempo a lot and it seems that when it’s increasing automatically when it gets to the 3 digit numbers (100+ obviously) only the first 2 digits of the number show up...so say when I go from 95bmp then it bounces up to 100 it only displays 10. And say 115 looks like 11. Not a huge deal and I’ll work around it but I wasn’t sure if you had heard of this and were trying to fix it! Just letting you know! The other issue has seemed to resolve itself with a new phone purchase but the tap tempo action was causing the app to crash, but it seems fine now!.Version: 2.2.3

Wow!The polyrhythm mode is amazing! Really helps clarify both rhythms and my timing for them has never been better since using this app. Also exploring crazy stuff like 7 against 8 in this app is just super fun! Thanks so much for creating this :).Version: 2.3.1

Best metronome app out thereI've had this app a little while but only just entered into a project that requires I play to click track live. Since my Yamaha Clickstation broke I turned to this and it's been excellent. The functionality is superb. The ability to plug in setlists with complex tempo and time sig changes within tracks is great and the polyrhythmic functions are fun for practice sessions. My only criticism is that the buttons to flick through tracks when you're onstage are pretty small and often take a couple prods. The user interface, although complicated and slightly daunting, is supported by a comprehensive and easy user manual. With any further queries I found the customer support to be almost immediate and very helpful. If you want a metronome app for any purpose then look no further..Version: 2.0.1

Very DetailedExcellent..Version: 2.2.2

Super!Great app. With just a quick intro from my guitar teacher, I have both simple and complex tempo bits to play with. The flexibility of this app is great. It is well worth the investment..Version: 2.2.2

Good product which works wellI am a semi pro musician. I bought this having used a "cut down" free version which was satisfactory. However, in common with most simpler metronomes I have seen, the beats available were limited to the most common signatures, e.g 4/4, 3/4, 6/8, 2/4. This app has a major advantage in that it is possible to enter pretty much any combination of beats - at the moment I am working up something in 7/4 time and the app has been immensely useful, particularly as it is possible to identify which beats will be stressed. In fact, you can, for examples, stress the first beat of the bar with one bleep, other beats with a different bleep, and omit any beats you don't need. You can also do cross rhythms - so you can hear what say triple time sounds like over quadruple time. There is also a set list function, so you can have the beats for a number of songs or pieces ready to play through with. Loads of the functions are customisable. The only slight flaw is that when you gradually increase the beat as you play, the app doesn't always keep up. You have to stop, and restart, A very minor thing - this is a great app which I recommend..Version: 2.1

My core practice appAs a professional jazz pianist, Tempo Adv is my go-to for practicing all my daily scales, arpeggios, patterns and tunes. I couldn't live without it. It's helped me develop strong time to play with the world's best musicians on stage..Version: 2.1.1

Better but not yet perfect. It's loud enough to drum to, and I play loud. Very good in most ways. However, why when programming complex time signature changes must I break songs up into different sections on the setlist. I have a set where one song becomes about 7 songs because there is no way to change timing within one song. Easily solvable: just add a section setlist option within each song i.e Save as new Song? Overight current song? Save as new section?. The biggest problem however remains the graphics (same problem in tempo 1) why in a metronome app would the visual clicks fade up and down and not be the shortest sharpest flashes available? This baffles me. It's crazy. Looks pleasant but totally unhelpful. And why have a limit on beats per bar or bpm? I have a song that's 13/2 with accents on every third division. It's unprogrammable, because you can't put accents on the subdivisions and you can't take the beats per bar up to 26. Please remove limits, remove fades, and this app will be total gold... oh, and can you please add an airplane mode button within the app, cause it loses timing whenever I get a text message. Fix all this and the app will be perfect. I'll change my review to 5 stars..Version: 0

Best metronome app!Love this app, I recommend it to all my students. I always use the bpm automation to build up speed for different exercises, the set-list function is great too.Version: 2.0.1

Great and accurate metronomeThis metronome is great, I use it regularly for my guitar practice, there are lots useful features such as dual metronome that can play simultaneously for complex beat patterns, polyrhythms and odd time signatures, especially useful if you’re a drummer. Program a clicktrack to speed up or slow down, useful for scales and arpeggio practice, create your own playlist and much more. If this is good enough for Mike Mangini, then I think this will be good enough for most of us..Version: 2.4

Wow!Such an amazing app! Thank you so much! Would recommend to any and every musician!.Version: 2.0.1

Serves your polyrhythmic needsThis is a pleasure to use. You can't say that of some advanced rhythm apps. Highly functional yet relatively simple to use. Find myself choosing this over others because it's going to challenge my rhythmic skills not my ability to figure out how it works! Well designed big time. Pun intended..Version: 2.2.2

Great toolI use this professionally as a drummer. You can store set lists for different artists and customise just about everything in this app. Great features for me are: - Copy and paste songs from one set list to another - Easily shuffle the order of a set list - Backup setlist from iTunes - Name everything - Nice sounds If only there was an iPad version, that would top it all off. Thanks for a great tool..Version: 1.1.4

Well worth every centFantastic app, allows for multiple ways to practice.Version: 2.0.3

Take your timeThere is no doubt this version is way better than the first one, specially if you are a professional musician. You just need to take 20min of your time to understand all the features. 2 bucks for this metronome is the best deal in the market. Keep the good work frozenape!.Version: 0

Great app!!!I couldn't desire a better metronome. I love the way I can customise tempos, sub beats, sounds and themes. Definitely the app can do more than I need for my study. I'm a saxophonist and just need a beat for my practicing routine however many times I used it for practicing odd tempos without instrument. We got here a five stars App. Joe.Version: 2.1.1

Perfeito para os baterasAposentei o meu metrônomo TAMA! Esse é muito melhor!!! Além do mais o volume de saída é bem alto, suficiente pra não precisar de amplificador para fones de ouvido!.Version: 2.0.2

Replaces my $100 metronome! This is SUCH a great app, I decided to write my first review after buying numerous apps! In a nutshell, this app is so great, it will replace my Tama Rhythm Watch, which costs about $100. I'm a drummer in a band that gigs, and I need numerous functions, especially the ability to STORE and easily recall tempos, so I can quickly get the tempo for the 'next' song. This app not only supports programmable memories, but features MULTIPLE set lists. What I've done is set up a "master set list" in alphabetical order, then for each gig, I can create a separate set list, and COPY the songs and adjust their order. This was a chore with my $100 Rhythm Watch AND that thing only allowed 30 presets. This baby stores 100 songs per setlist! Many other features, such subdivisions, accents, numerous time sigs, bar counter, reference tone (tuner), visual and audio tweaks galore, etc. I researched tons of metronome apps, and this one shines head and shoulders above the rest..Version: 0

Tempo Adv. Works Well!I'm one of those people that has downloaded dozens of metronome apps looking for one that I like the most. I've downloaded some that had cool features, but the sounds were horrible, or the sounds were quality but the app aesthetics were largely underdeveloped. Tempo Adv. has it all; great sounds, features and all of the above. One feature that would make this app even cooler would be a gap click. Overall, I've been very pleased..Version: 2.2.3

Great easy to useThis has become my go to metronome app. I like the easy of use and intuitive function..Version: 2.4

Great appI use this app all the time for my chamber choir. I can enter all the pieces for an upcoming concert in order and cycle through them to practice the tempos. I can also use it at practice to ensure that I'm setting the correct tempo. Well done!!.Version: 1.3.1

Love itBeing able to to set exactly what rhythm I want and set polyrhythms has been crazy. I’ve been using this often for quite some time (and I must confess, a lot of the time in 4/4). The app has really helped me get a solid feel for non standard times and being able to place accents on whatever beat I feel has been a godsend. Thank you very much..Version: 2.3.1

Tempo AdvancedI use this metronome app frequently for my own practice as well as during teaching individual lessons or coaching chamber music. It is reliable and the sound is strong and pleasant. The only caveat is that it opens the polyrhythms inadvertently quite frequently which means I have to stop and take the steps to cancel it. The other issue is that it will revert to 160 without touching anything. If they could build in a way to keep it from doing those two things that happen with a slight touch I guess then I would give it five stars..Version: 2.4

The best out there.Been using this app since 2009 or 2010 on tour, in the studio, and in the practice room. It’s still the best. Powerful features (subdivisions 1-20, setlists, automatically advancing/changing tempos) and beautiful, intuitive interface. No other app has that combination. Still use it for everything after all these years..Version: 2.4

Use for click track, but...Wish it could store songs I input in an alphabetical list from which I could select to create a new set each week. Other than that, this is a very useful metronome.Version: 2.3.2

Love the app but where are the click track functions? The app works great. Period. As a full function metronome, multimeter, and even polynome with subdivisions it is excellent. But seriously, Mike Mangini doesn't play tracks that stay in the same meter for the entire tune. For no other reason than Mike's sheer brilliance the app MUST include (in a future update) the ability to add multiple (infinite) measures with independent meter, tempo, accents, etc... Thank you for making an awesome app. Well worth the $ and I'll use it a TON to replace the popular Metronome app I have been using. Please think about the click track function! Peace!.Version: 2.2.2

Best on the market!I've used Frozen Ape's apps for a long time because they have always had many easy-to-use features, but the tempo change automation feature is what has made the biggest difference in my practicing..Version: 2.3.1

Totally slickThe perfect metronome. Every musician needs this app..Version: 2.0.1

Great app!Well thought out. It appears to have much more capabilities than I need. Love being able to name the different tempos and time signatures for my original compositions. I recently tried creating polyrhythms and found that the app is intuitive and easy to figure it out..Version: 2.2.2

Awesome update! Thanks for adding two track polyrhythms! As a drummer, this metronome just became so much more useful. Love the new interface too. Definitely a 5 star app!.Version: 2.0.1

Great Metronome! For only $4 (Aus Dollar), this metronome has a exstensive variety of features and the ability to now select the divisions of each beat (as well as create many different divisions by silencing some of the divisions) makes it a very versatile and capable metronome. Usually I would expect to pay over $50 for a digital stand-alone metronome of this quality so it's a great bargain and is updated often!.Version: 0

Amazing App!Such a handy tool for having playlists of your sets. Helps me so much.Version: 2.1

Absolutely phenomenal. This app is the smartest decision you could make if you want to move forward as a musician. It allows you complete creative freedom, yet keeps you in line perfectly. 10/10 would recommend.Version: 2.2.2

You Don’t have this app what is wrong with you😀😀😀😀I have. Had this app since its release .. so Easy to use and perfect for Bass/Drummers like me or anyone else who wants to learn how to hang out in groove with out getting lost ...muahaha.Version: 2.4

FlawlessThis is all I use, it's brilliant..Version: 2.0.3

Great app Facebook integration annoyingI love this app but hate the Facebook integration. Option to remove this would be nice..Version: 1.2.1

Seriously great.I've always loved this app on my iPhone, but now with iPad support it's even better. The UI looks great, the theme choice is pretty cool, the bar counter/timer feature is useful, and it's easy to set up a gradual speed up/slow down. Also, POLYRHYTHMS. I've looked for another metronome that plays polyrhythms, but I couldn't find one. There may be another, but I doubt it's this good. This update just introduced polyrhythms out of nowhere with an update! Love this app, I can't see why anyone would get another metronome app at this point..Version: 2.0

ExcellentI am a professional musician and have been using this app for at least the past 5 years. It has all that I need and it works when I need it. The updates to various iOS have been without a glitch. A very dependable and easy to use product. Congrats to the team!.Version: 2.3.2

And more! This is a great app! Many many uses and easy set list management. Definitely would recommend to any beginner or pro..Version: 2.2.2

The bestMy go to metronome app!!!.Version: 2.0.3

FantasticFantastic app. Wouldn't go one day without using it in my practice sessions - professional musician's best friend..Version: 2.1

Great toolFinally a metronome which will do all the different time signatures and tempi that I work with in the study of classical to contemporary music. It has more features than I have had time to learn how to use yet so there is still untapped potential in the app. Well worth the few dollars it cost..Version: 2.2.2

Need a metronome? This is it.Nothing else comes close. There's no better metronome in the app store. I've been using Tempo forever, and this is the best version yet..Version: 1.1.4

Wonderful! This app is wonderful. Great feature set and well designed. The only feature I’d like to see is ability for metronome to switch off/on for a few bars at random so one can test his/her own internal metronome..Version: 2.4

A real pro appSubdivisions, any way you want it.Version: 2.3.1

The Best!I’m a professional drummer and this is far and away the best metronome I’ve ever used. It’s a bit like the top-of-the-line Dr. Beat, but with more functionality. I love being able to change out the sounds, and I really wish I could get Tempo Advance as a replacement for the horrible stock Pro Tools click..Version: 2.3.1

Worth the money! Most useful and versatile metronome I've used. Great for teaching and more complex exercises.Version: 2.2.2

Love it:)Has never failed me. Lot's of options within a clean interface. Excellent performance. Well worth the purchase.Version: 2.1.1

Best metronome for traditional musicThis metronome allows you to set up incredible combinations of 2, 3 and 4 beat patterns for traditional music, which often has complex time signatures..Version: 2.2.2

Fantastic!!Being an avid percussionist, this app has been such a vital part of my practice time! I was introduced to the app by my Drumline instructor a couple years ago and have used it almost religiously in the years since! Definitely worth the price!.Version: 2.2.3

Well worth the money!Easy to use & easy to go as deep as you need. Everyone will benefit from using it..Version: 2.4

The best metronome appIt’s super easy to customize the metronome to what you need; there are a lot of varieties of sounds for the click and it’s really easy to program subdivisions! I love using it for teaching students to play to the metronome..Version: 2.4

Great for percussionistI really love tempo advance. Even when you turn off your iPad or go to another app it is still there. I give this a five star for a good reason.Version: 2.3.1

Excellent AppNot the usual metronome app but easy to use and very flexible..Version: 2.3.1

Great!Easily the best metronome you'll come across for $4.99. So many features and does not lag/speed up, like many other metronome apps. Definitely worth the purchase!.Version: 2.0.3

BIGGER PLAY/START BUTTONI use this app regularly for theatre shows. Über-reliable and easy to program but PLEASE make the play/start button larger. Hovering a finger over the small play button is not useful. Please make this layout change??.Version: 2.3

IPhone 5/iPod touch 5th GenerationPlease make it capable for iPhone 5/ iPod touch 5th generation!.Version: 1.4.1

Great app! But complicated...I use this app almost every day, would highly recommend it. I gave it 4 stars, and would have given it 5 if there was an easier way to hide the complexity. I only use the standard one click per beat metronome, but all the advanced features are right up front and I have to tip toe around them to make sure I don’t accidentally press a button the gets the app into a state that is hard to back out of. And I would add that I could use some of the advanced features for sure but they are hard to figure out, so I don’t bother..Version: 2.2.4

I wish these tools existed 35 years ago. This has helped immeasurably with getting a better feel for beat subdivisions like 16th note "triplets", 32nd notes, and beyond. The pendulum metronome was all I had years ago, and not being another Mozart, or Mangini, I really could have used a tool like this. It has helped my guitar practice like nothing else..Version: 2.2.2

Apple WatchThis is a great app and fully customisable, however i would love to feel the buzz on my Apple Watch for timing. Also would be nice to switch to another app and this tempo having run in the background. But the watch thing.... can you add this?.Version: 2.3.1

Good for what you needDon’t get me wrong, this is the best app for a metronome available…with that being said HOW IN THE WORLD DO YOU NOT HAVE SPLIT SCREEN AVAILABLE. Fix it. Gigging musicians need cheat sheets and guides for new or first time performances….why split screen is not built in yet is mind blowing to me. ESPECIALLY on the iPad version…...Version: 2.4

My favoriteI've explored a number of metronome apps. Tempo Advance is my all time favorite. It's so easy to add subdivisions of the beat with one swipe and it is very flexible. I love this metronome..Version: 2.2.2

Excellent timekeeperThis is my "go to" metronome app. It has a remarkably large feature set, but doesn't fail where it's most important – keeping time..Version: 2.0.3

StylishThis app is amazing. I was a big fan of the previous tempo app and this one does not disappoint! Powerful, in addition to a visually pleasing and well-organized interface, which is bundled with the ability to make your own themes..Version: 2.3.2

Excellent!!Excellent metronome.Version: 2.0.3

GreatI use it only in the simplest settings and the only thing I could wish for would be a feature where the metronome could be set to skip bars. I like to practice keeping a steady tempo and having the click lay out sometimes. That’s the ultimate test of your time I feel. But I haven’t found another app that does that. Oh and Siri integration would be great “hey Siri increase metronome speed by ten beats”. Anyway great app..Version: 2.3.1

Superb appThis is the best metronome app that I have tried. As a flamenco guitarist it is really useful as I can create a clock of 12 beats and set accents. Brilliant.Version: 1.2.1

Great 'Pro-spec' metronomeI've just moved on from Tempo1 to this Tempo2. A lot of my original review for T1 still holds true here - a great pro spec metronome to rival any hardware unit I've encountered. As an MD/Pianist working on various different theatre shows I've used the original app myself & have seen other guys using it for shows in the West End & on tour. The killer feature really being the setlist function - I see in this new app the enhanced options for auto advancing through the setlist etc which look great. Comparing this app with something like Yamahas clickstation, it really holds it's own; and at about a hundredth of the price! The one feature I'd like to see in an update would be the vibrate feature like on the Yamaha where you can grab/hold a button & feel the tempo rather than look at the screen. Other than that it's a huge thumbs up!.Version: 0

An Excellent AppHaving used Frozen Ape's Tempo app for some time, I was excited to see the release of the Advanced version. The app is functional, intuitive, and full of useful features. For those with more advanced uses for a metronome, this really is something worth checking out..Version: 2.0.1

Speed up featureLove this metronome! The speed up feature really is practical and great for learning music slowly then gradually speeding up. 👍🏽.Version: 2.4

MetronomeI’m clad I chose this app because it is just wot I was looking for .its very easy to learn by experimenting with the settings and Wow I found just wot I was looking for ,the intro on my song was difficult using a normal click trak . The way I set this up I can be sure to be spot on now with that of beat sense playing my intro on the guitar it was always difficult using a click trak . This is amazing app it’s worth paying double for it if I can lol . Love it.Version: 2.3.1

Perfect if added a RANDOMIZERIf there was a setting where u can choose what percentage of a change u want from your current beat and/or tempo, that would make this app complete 👽🛸mutate percentage randomizer function pls💚💚💚.Version: 2.4

Great, only one flaw...I've had this app for over a year. I'm a professional Musician and teach and play drums and guitar. I use this app everyday teaching and on gigs. It has everything, however my only complaint (and I really hope someone reads this and remedies the problem) is that the area you touch for changing the tempo is so small that it makes it difficult to quickly change the tempo. Often while trying to bump the tempo up a few beats the app thinks I'm tapping a new tempo or opens the numeric pad. After a year of using the app it's still annoying. Why is the area for tapping to change the click sounds so big? There should be an option to swap these touch areas and have the larger area adjusting tempo..Version: 1.4.1

The best. This is the best metronome I have ever used. It is incredibly easy to maneuver tempos, subdivisions and accent patterns. As a musician, I prefer this over any metronome - even a DB-90..Version: 1.4.1

Love itI'm a professional (gigs and teaching) and I've used this app for a few years. I love the customizability of sounds, time signatures, beat patterns, etc. it's my go-to app!.Version: 2.2.2

ExcellentExtremely versatile. Superb, thank you..Version: 0

PerfectGets any job done..Version: 2.2.3

Highly RecommendedHighly recommend for musicians of all levels.Version: 2.2.2

Perfection👍🏻Gotta say you guys have honed this to perfection with the polyrhythm's feature. Keep goin with it boys! Maybe add the ability to increase/decrease/constant tempo with decimals. Sometimes I feel like the difference between 214 and 215 is too great. Decimal numbers would create a smaller increment to walk one up nicely to the whole numbers.Version: 2.4

Incredible app especially for drummersIf you want to get into playing polyrhythms, start using this app. it helps you visualise and hear them and makes it a much less frustrating experience.Version: 2.3.2

EssentialI use this all the time. It is very intuitive and nicely customisable. Essential for all committed musicians....Version: 2.1

Excellent.Just what the doctor ordered, well for me anyway. I Use it on an iPad for on stage count-ins. I'm a drummer and find this app absolutely great. Use the stop after x beats and then auto move onto next song ready for next count-in Have all the band set lists stored and as you can change the sets around by drag and drop it's very useful when playing different venues where sets have to be tailored to suit. Only down side at the moment is the graphics when using in full screen mode as they're not crystal clear. Nice though as I need glasses to read the app on my iPhone. I believe an upgrade is in progress now so should be even better. Still use this for all my gigs. Can't be without it now. Great..Version: 1.2.3

Rhythm Knowledge loves this appThis app offered me several things that I wanted in a practicing app including the bar/timing counter that I find absent on most metronomes. This allows you to keep track of how long or how many bars of a particular exercise you have done without a separate app or timer. In addition the polyrhythm mode is sick for listening to almost any polyrhythm and playing along with it at any tempo and you can also set up any subdivision you want from 1-19 and time signature from 1-19. Overall I like it a lot!.Version: 2.0.1

AwesomeMike Mangini recommended this app, especially if you are into Independence exercises and want to get into playing complex time signatures is the reason why I got it!!! OMG this is pro :).Version: 1.4

Look No FurtherI never leave home for a gig without this App. Easily the best tempo App available. I've trusted it for years now, and it has never let me down..Version: 2.0.3

GreatI’ve used this for years now. Great metronome only wish that it had the feature to airdrop to my iPad set list..Version: 2.4

Would be nice to have a sort function...Love this app, and use it regularly, but...I have a Master setlist that has all the songs we play at church. I pull songs for a weekend service into a separate setlist from my Master setlist. Having a sort function on my Master list would make it so much easier to find songs, and eliminate duplicates. Still, all-in-all, a great app!.Version: 2.3.1

PerfectI purchased this app so I could put together a set list of timings for tracks for the various bands i play in and it has turned out to be just right. There are a few things I might change but once you get to known where all the various options are it's a breeze. Great app....one happy, in time drummer ;).Version: 1.2.2

Feature-rich but docs are weak and support non-existentI've encountered two functions that are not documented. I used their web site contact form but no response after a few days. It may not be a completely finished app, but is a good start..Version: 2.2.2

GreatI use this on the ipad when practicing drums. Like it because you can play the tracks and the click at the same time. Having difficulty with the tap function, but that could just be me. Would like to be able to type the speed in. But overall the best metronome I have tried. I have now deleted all my other metromome aps..Version: 1.1.4

Time ToolIn all honesty didn’t want to buy one have an old Boss, but old being old, and having some more convenience in programming different accents for grooves as well as having a good tool to break down polyrhythms, was a great selling feature. Getting back into music as a kit drummer, a metronome is priceless, and this delivers..Version: 2.3.1

Well doneGood app, works as expected, great for setlists.Version: 2.0.4

User interfaceWhy is the start/stop button so close to where the swipe up motion is initiated?.Version: 2.4

GreatLove the polyrhythms and how easy it is to use!.Version: 2.0.1

Good for gigTakes some getting used to, but now that I know how to use it it's perfect..Version: 2.0.1

Great app but occasional glitchesAgree with everything everyone says about this being an awesome tempo app. Very occasional freezes where it is jut stuck on beat 1 with no sound and I have to restart the phone for it to work again. Glitches like that, while very rare, make it a little sketchy for use in live music settings..Version: 1.1.4

IPad ProPlease update for iPad Pro! Other than that, great metronome. I recommend it to all of my students.Version: 2.3.2

Fantastic! This is a brilliant app for drummers. I read a review in Drummer mag about a year ago and decided to buy - I wouldn't be without it now. The sequencing is easy to see in my iPhone even in darker stage lighting. I don't know what the other reviewers are on about when they say they can't program time signatures, it's easy! if you want 7/4 then you change top number to 7 and bottom number to 4, I don't understand their issue. Set lists easy to put together, change around. No more paper set lists for me!! :-) Anyway, really great app and super value for money. My only recommend for improvement would be to have a 3rd view of a standard metronome ticker like some of the free apps. Overall - best metronome app around for drummers..Version: 1.4

Fantastic! Much better than the free metronomes. Why pay 2$ when you can get a metronome for free? Because this metronome is so much better. Read the help! It only takes 3 minutes and once you figure out the unconventional interface, it's actually really easy to use. Things I love about this metronome: *Steady tempo - even when your phone is checking mail or downloading apps *Great interface - takes a minute to learn, but then it's super quick to change tempos *Auto tempo increases - practise for a set number of bars and then try it again faster. *Accent notes - place them anywhere in the beat. A great app. Ten years ago I paid $20 for a digital metronome that didn't have half these features..Version: 1.1.4

A very versatile, powerful metronome.Highly recommended!.Version: 2.0.2

Tempo AdvThis app is brilliant and very easy to use. The polyrhythmic function is excellent. Definitely a must have for any musician..Version: 2.1

Solid easy to use metronome with great featuresSome of the more advanced stuff like programming multimeter sections or accelerando passages are tedious and the polyrhythm feature doesn’t land on 1 together but the core metronome is excellent and very easy to use.Version: 2.4

Out of dateA little tricky to get used to the editing but a very good tool and one of a kind in terms of tempo alignment with set lists..Version: 2.3.1

Almost perfectI love this app but I wish there was a way to enlarge the start and stop button for easier control for live use. Would be great if I didn’t have to aim my finger at the button and could just easily integrate the click into live playing. Other than that, best click app I’ve ever used..Version: 2.3.1

Everything you need.Great for creating set lists Taping tempo Subdividing No complaints at all.Version: 2.3.1

EverythingHas just about everything you need in a metronome. Great to practice with.Version: 2.4

Fantastic metronomeOdd division Tuplets? Sure! Super slow/fast tempo? Duh. Road map & save a set list? Easily. This is the best metronome I've ever bought and will likely be the best you will have bought, too..Version: 2.2.2
