✓ Really Love it!!!!...But there's always a "but"This app is so fun! If you are like me with all of the maverick and shoe the goose food apps you will love this and should totally get it!! But the biggest problem I have with this app is that over half of the decorations and icing tips are just letters and numbers!! And there aren't any sprinkles! I suggest that you add lots and lots of sprinkles, candy, snack pieces, HOLIDAY DECORATIONS!!! more flowers, animals, candles, and other creative decorations. Please add more cake flavors like strawberry, confetti, apple spice, marble, blueberry, chocolate chip, and cheesecake! Also add more icing tips and more purples, blues, silver, gold, and sparkly frosting colors. And add cupcakes with lots of pretty liners! It would also be nice if you could slice the cake and have an adjustable baking time and the cake would look accordingly. Also you should be able to squeeze the lemon and dye dropper, pour the vanilla, and I love the way the stirring is but maybe add a spoon and mixer option and add a lick the spoon option. Lastly, you should be able to light the candles and have a celebration option with holiday music, themed confetti, tables, plates, and backgrounds! The ability to tie a bow around the cake (kind of like the ones you see on wedding cakes) 2. Non-binary characters for the wedding toppers 3. Adding adding some lunar new year and LGBT pride terms to the holiday decorations section of the cake decor step 4. Adding at least 3-5 baby shower related cake toppers 5. Adding a bride in an Asian style wedding dress, Hawaiian style wedding dress, and middle eastern style wedding dress. Most nights when i get home from work the first thing she wants is to get my iPhone and make a cake for me or my wife... then we all eat it together. Well done! ✓ It's awesome!Cake doodle is like one of my favorite apps! I go on it almost every day! It's so good, you can choose from a bunch of different cake flavors! You can go from vanilla - pineapple, then you can make it! It's all the work but no mess, but it's not even work its fun! Once you are done making the batter you choose from around 20 different cake pan shapes, it cooks in the oven for about ten seconds and then it's done. Now you can frost the cake, you choose from many different colors - even if the color isn't there you can make your own in the bottom corner of the frosting tab. You have five different tips to make the cake personalized, now you can choose from wedding toppers to rainbow sprinkles! All you have to do is tap on the eat cake button then tap to eat, it's great! ✓ Great update!Thank you for another great update! I love that you can now sift flour, pour vanilla, add food colouring etc.(love the pinch action!) It's great that you can now frost tiers seperately. (it used to bug me when the colours ran together) my 5yr old said "wow it looks like a real cake now!" i love the new recipe too! When I was decorating it I found myself wishing for some pretty candies or sprinkles to put on. (like those little silver balls,confetti or star or heart shaped sprinkles etc) Without adding anything this is still the best cake app in the app store, no contest. We especially like the "feely" parts of this app such as the salt shaker and the banana squashing and lots of groovy colours to frost your delictable creation. If I could make a coule of humble suggestions, I would love to be able to do a 3D rotate of the cake and decorate it on all sides, maybe have the option of using beaters to mix the cake and a knife to cut slices of the finished product. The recipes work in real life as well once we'd worked out how much a stick of butter weighed. I, too, would like to be able to decorate all sides of the cake and more decoration options would be good. The writing option needs a bit more of a 3D effect, it looks very flat on the cake and it would be good if the font was a little smaller. There are many different types of cake batters to make, which include interactive steps like cracking eggs, sifting flour, pouring oil or milk, mashing fruit, squeezing food coloring bottles, and finally mixing it all together. Next, there are many diverse shapes to bake the cake in, rounds, squares, hearts, and many different tier combos. Decorate is twice as fun as baking a real cake. With many different frosting colors that span out to color the rain bow, a cool cake is easy to make. There are also frosting tips, like flowers, seashells, polkadots, and letters. There are decorations for every holiday and season, and their are toppers like bride and groom pieces, little animals, and letters. You can save photos of your cake, and you can eat it, too. ✓ My 2 year olds love thisThis app has been a huge hit with my 2 year old twins - so much so that it has even enticed them into making real cakes. They love all the various steps inolved: cracking the eggs, pouring in various liquids, mashing the fruit, mixing it until the colour is even, baking, decorating and eating. It does crash a bit (please fix) but that doesn't seem to bother them. The kids also end up selecting a cake shape by accident most the time as are still going with the mixing from the previous screen. I like how you made the cake making more interactive, like to were you can squeeze the red dye and sift the flower, it's even more fun now. I thought it would be cool if you could do a confetti cake recipe were you sprinkle in your own sprinkles. A marble cake recipe would be cool too. ✓ One of the best games I haveAs my title states, this is one of the best games I have. My friend and I were stuck someplace and were just making cakes for each other and passing them back and forth. Another time I was visiting a friend of mine and he played this until like 2 AM. You can do so much with it, the design possibilities are endless, and the fun is endless. One tiny thing that bothers me though is that you can't tell what flavor the cake is once you frost it, as you can't see the inside when you bite into it, but that's not really a big deal. For the baking soda I think you should be able to hit the side of your iPhone, and it would go into the bowl. For the pumpkin, I think you should get a knife, and you can scoop the pumpkin out. ✓ Really Works!!!I've never written a review before, but this one needs one. I decided the kids (who love the game) and I would try a recipe for real. We made the chocolate cake. Worked perfect except a little thin. Added a small amount of extra flour until the consistency was right. Filled 12 muffin papers and a 9" square cake pan, each 1/2 full. Baked at 350F for 22 minutes (cupcakes) and approx 35 minutes (cake). A little Duncan frosting and WOW... they are delicious, and used no prefab mix!!! Thumbs up!!! Making the Lemon cake next. ✓ Pros and ConsI absolutely adore this app. All of my friends play it nonstop when they get ahold of my iPod. I love the sounds and the colors and details and decorations. But I would like to suggest just a few things that would make the app just a tad better than it already is. I would like some more color options. I think it would be great to be allowed the opportunity to mix colors to create your own. Also, SPARKLES! I've seen alot if reviews and suggestions on adding sparky sprinkles and icings. And I couldn't agree more!!! It would definitely add more fun and creativity to the app. Also, I think the decorations should come to life. The cannons should shoot confetti; you should be able to light the candles, and so on. I also liked a comment that suggested backgrounds an decorations. I like that idea as well. ✓ Strangely MesmerizingI was not sure that my kids would really like the cake/cookie/candy doodle apps, but they can spend a long time "making" their creations. It's a very gentle, fun app. I also agree that one great thing about it is that after you pay the .99 purchase price, there are no in-app purchases. That is very important to me. I would rather pay a dollar and not have to worry about my kids clicking through on an ad or purchasing something unwittingly. Have heard too many horror stories of hundred-dollar iTunes Store bills because of kids innocently playing a game..Version: 1.06
