✓ Simple & EffectiveI used this when I was in labour to track my contractions over 5 days. It is so simple, you can easily see summary and details without having to try and interpret charts and graphs like some other apps of this kind, which is not what you need when you're contracting every 5 minutes! ✓ Doula says Best app for tracking!I am a birth doula and this is the tracking app I suggest all my clients use! It’s simple, easy, you can adjust times if you miss a ctx or dont get to the button in time. I do not like the other apps that tell you to rush to the hospital once you get to 5-1-1 and it can be scary! This one doesn’t do that, and won’t alarm you! It just gives you the proper tools to track and accurately report your progress to your birth team! Hands down the best app!.Version: 3.7.1

✓ Best contraction timer app!This was the perfect app to time my contractions. Easy to use, even during labor. Captured everything needed- duration and intensity. I liked being able to see the contraction history and averages and shared this with my doula and midwife to communicate progress before going to the hospital. Made it easy to see when it was time to go to the hospital. Best contraction timer app! I am currently re-using the app to track my baby’s crying. She is two months and starting to have periods of fussiness. Wish I could find another version of this app where I could track duration and intensity of crying as well as baby’s feeding and diapers, and what I eat to help identify potential correlation between what I eat and her green diaper or fussiness. ✓ Amazing!Absolutely fantastic app. DO NOT PAY FOR THIS ELSEWHERE!! Simple in design yet extremely effective. Helped us give a full picture to the midwife when phoning through to the hospital and also allowed us to make an informed designed as to what stage the labour was at so as to hold off from going to the hospital too early. My partner was 7cm when we arrived which is exactly where the app indicated she would be. 90 mins later and our perfect little boy was with us. ✓ AmazingWhen I went into labour last week this app made life so much easier. At first I could track my contractions myself but when I started to progress really quickly it meant that my husband could carry on without panicking and forgetting the timings. The ability to see a summary of times, lengths & frequencies made it much easier to tell the midwife what was happening, and when my labour sped up considerably it allowed us to see that we needed to act. I would recommend this app to anyone looking for a simple way to monitor and record their contractions and would continue to recommend it even if it wasn't free. ✓ Proved she was in labour !Quickly downloaded this app when my friend said she was experiencing pains at 38wks pregnant. Tracked a few 'lots of pains' and soon proved to her she was in labour. The app clearly shows your average time between contractions and average duration or contractions. Very easy to use. You can delete the last contraction if you made a mistake and easily look at the 'quick reference' page to see approx what stage of labour you are in. We called the doctor when she was having contractions of 1min duration and 5 mins apart, they said to go to hospital and 3hrs later she gave birth..Version: 1.1

✓ Been using for years!I’m a veteran doula of 15 years. This is the app I direct all of my clients to, and the one I use at every labor I join. Love the ease of use and the metrics to see patterns. The only addition I would love to see (but I totally understand that it hasn’t been a feature) is to share data between people. When a client is timing contractions at home, they will send me screen shots or sometimes PDFs of the data. But being able to sync together to see the overall pattern would be fantastic..Version: 3.7.1

✓ Such an amazing appI tried other contractions apps and they seemed ok, but this one is simple and straight to the point and I’m a big fan. And it defaults to dark mode too! I was keeping track by writing down times before I found this, was able to edit in all the time and it worked beautifully. The timer itself shows the last contraction you’ve had, the average of the last hour, and the average of the last 6 hours. It even has an option to write notes if you water breaks such as amount, color, and time. Not only was the lite version very approachable and fully operational, with only a couple of ads, the full version is $.99 and so we were happy to pay for that just to support the further development of this app! The start/stop timer is incredibly easy to use, the ability to edit contraction times and even add contractions that I missed, plus all the other features really impressed us and if we have another child this will be the go-to app for contraction timing. ✓ Works well, but one fix would help!This worked great for timing my contractions when I went into labor. It’s easy to edit the start/end time if I missed hitting the button in time. ONE COMPLAINT that would be an easy fix: when my water broke, I hit the water button and made a note of the color. When I got to the hospital, I looked back to see what time my water had broken, and I realized the app did not save the time!! I see now there’s an “edit” button at the top to add a time, but this was not obvious to me mid-labor in the middle of the night. What would be better is if a time automatically populates when the user hits the water button—with the option to edit it she needs. But not having a default time is a bummer. Knowing the contraction pattern from before I went to the hospital helped make clear that the pattern seems in hospital (or lack of) was consistent with what happened at home. ✓ Very pleased with AppI'm so glad I got this app, not only was it easy to use but I loved the low light setting as I was using natalhypnotherapy techniques which included labouring in a relaxing low light, so it was great not to have to look at a bright screen when logging each contraction. I chose to turn off the intensity monitor, as a first timer I had nothing to compare it to but the contraction before. I was pleased to have this option. It was great to be able to hand my phone to my Husband & for him to relay the info on it to the midwife, so I could focus on my breathing. I would definitely use this app again. The only issue I found was that its too easy to hit the delete option when in pain & fumbling for phone to press the "start" button. Perhaps the delete button would be better placed in one of the menu options. I accidentally deleted several hours of logs. My Husband responded that it didn't matter & to just start again. It mattered a lot to me at the time & I was then constantly trying to be careful not to hit it again, hard to do when my contractions hit full intensity within 5 seconds of starting. ✓ Excellent app - helped me in labour - recommended!I chanced upon this app wanting one that would time contractions and was very happy with it. I especially like the simple, clear design. So often labour apps are fussy, ad-laden, and pink/pastel colours. It works very well and its ability to chart your contractions and display combined statistics is reassuring. I also really valued the handy reminder page that indicated which stage of labour was indicated by the regularity of the contractions - I checked this a number of times. The only thing I would have liked would be the possibility to time different sessions of contractions. I had several episodes with fairly regular early contractions (it was the same with my first baby who came pre-term) and so used the app on several occasions over a course of days, not just when I was in labour. The problem with this was that then the timings for the charts were all off kilter as it looked like my contractions had gone on for days. I didn't want to just wipe the previous readings as it was useful to keep them for comparison. However, this is a small gripe and probably wouldn't be a problem for most women. I have few suggestions for improvement though, you should give an option to manually delete one of the contraction entries as you only have the option to delete the latest entry. ✓ Best App for a FTMDuring my birthing classes it was recommended to find a contraction counter so started searching and, honestly, I must have gone through every app available and completely hated the majority. The kick counter available on this app was a great bonus but the contraction counter is definitely the best free one out there. During the first couple of hours of contractions when I wasn’t sure if I was going through “real labor” this made it very easy to track that my contractions were progressively closer together even tho it was a slower progression. Later, the large button to start the timer made it easy for me to hit the start and still accurately track my times even at the points when I didn’t want to look at my phone and break my focus. Also to be noted, the app is user friendly enough that I could hand my phone to either of my support persons who had never used it and they could easily understand how to read the information without me having to explain the app over and again. ✓ Labour monitoring made easy…As a first-time expectant mother I went into what I thought was the early stages of labour and realised that I had no idea how to monitor contractions most effectively to know when to go to the hospital. A quick search later and I came across this app. Thank goodness, as it was a lifesaver. It enabled me to not panic and keep track of the contractions from the get go and to notice when they became regular and close enough together to go to the hospital. The different visuals of the data are great to see the information in different ways to suit different people. In the UK there is a tendency for the hospitals to tell you to stay at home for as long as possible.
