✓ UselessThis is with out a doubt the worse app I have ever used. There are apps designed by children that work better than this useless waste of my phones storage space. Fails to open, constant crashing, unable to log in, PocketMags inability to link my Premier subscription from Singletrack Magazine to the app despite the passing all correct information to them. An utterly useless piece of software that doesn't deserve to pass the supposedly stringent App Store requirements. Sort it out or Singletrack Magazine will be losing my subscription at renewal time..Version: 4.2.5
✓ Odd formatChanged recently to a new format which reads more like a word processing document than a paper magazine. Large margins, articles in large font that scroll down and swipe side to side in a dizzying arrangement. As always, great photos and interesting articles on the UK biking scene but the format is frustrating and unlike any other ipad magazine. Suggest taking a lead on format from the US Bike mags which seem to manage the paper to ipad format a lot better.Version: 4.9.10
✓ Great content, app fundamentally broken.Firstly, I love the magazine, no complaints there. Unfortunately the app won't let me sign in any more. Every time I try, I get a message claiming I've entered an incorrect email/password. Using the same login details on the pocketmags site works fine, and it's not just me being an idiot spelling my email wrong. Hope this gets fixed soon so I can get back to reading the great content!.Version: 4.9.89
✓ Great content / buggy appPhotos look gorgeous on the iPad. Magazine content is great. However, the app crashes pretty regularly. There's also very limited free content available. There's enough web and back catalogue content to mix and match with magazine subscriptions and purchases. I'd also like to be to download the high res photos. Ive already bought the magazine and e version. Again, this could be free and funded by sponsor links. Something like the guardian eyewitness app would be great.Version: 0

✓ Legibility issueI was really looking forward to this. Navigation seemed quite slick at first, although panning around has a strangely exaggerated movement. The big problem is with the text. It's either a problem with the anti alias or just too low res. The latter really, each page is a jpeg I think. When you zoom in to a PDF, the text is crisp (even if the res of the images suffer) - this is more like a bitmap, the text has soft, blurry edges and is very unpleasant to read. 4 or 5 stars if it was more PDF like and easy to read. Like this (as mags are for reading), 2 stars. Content and pics are great ofcourse, as with the printed version..Version: 0
✓ Still???1 star cos have to give a star otherwise would be 0! Spent months with crashing issues but persevered as a huge fan. Now I can't even open the app without it crashing!!! Own 10's of mags which work flawlessly. Singletrack / Pocketmags, my subscription will NOT be renewed and ill never by another Pocketmags mags again. Goodbye!.Version: 4.2.5

✓ SingletrackGreat mag, crap app. Unstable, keeps crashing, a total waste of pixels. Deleted my whole catalogue and re installed with the hope of improving the stability. Unfortunately it has made it even worse. The irony here is the other mtb mag apps work great but their content isn't anywhere near as good..Version: 4.1.8
✓ App doesn't workHave just bought my first paper copy of SingleTrack and I'd love to subscribe, but the app simply doesn't work. I get the splash screen then it crashes out. Works fine on my iPhone but not the iPad. I've tried all the usual - reboot, reinstall but nothing helps..Version: 4.9.94

✓ Does not workJust loaded the latest release to find it does not work. Previous version at least allowed me to read on the go. This latest release won't even load. ✓ Best bike mag, awful appIt is a real shame that the best MTB magazine is let down by an awful app! I find the 'page turn' animation dreadful. It really seems to strain my eyes and can even make me feel sick. The app also has a tendency to crash often too. On a plus note, back to content, the magazine offers everything that a UK mtber could ask for. Please, please update the app with the option to turn off animations. Until then, I will be buying the paper copy!.Version: 3.1.2
✓ Great Mag. AWFUL App.Really wish I'd read the reviews before paying for an issue. Every other mag I've tried works perfectly. Somehow pocket mags/singletrack manage to make a complete dogs breakfast of what should be a very simple process. Avoid..Version: 4.9.40
✓ Nice idea but sadly Very unreliableThe idea is great. Shame this particular app doesn't work. The iPad app was disappointingly unreliable previously, with numerous failed starts and then crashes once loaded. In particular, it didn't seem to like rotating the iPad once the app was running. Since upgrading the iPad os the app doesn't work at all. If you've bought copies of the magazine then you're stuffed. However, the format can work...Bicycle Buyer is the same sort of iPad magazine and (so far) works fine. ---------- Spoke to Support. They were quick to get back to me... Their solution was to remove app and all content, hard reset iPad and reinstall. Did this. Still doesn't work..Version: 0
✓ Good Idea...I love the magazine, and was excited to see an app, but... As has already been stated, the scrolling and zooming functions are very odd, and out of character for an iOS app. Also, the text is very awkward to read, due to a kind of blurry effect. Won't load properly, when it does manage to load, the library is empty. Issues that are apparently in the library have blank pages where the content should be. Freezing menu. ✓ Great Magazine TERRIBLE APPThe Positive: I really enjoy the content in Singletrack. It is a great read. The Magazine is a FIVE star read The Negative: However this app is now un useable. I have emailed pocketmags to ask when a fix will be forthcoming. Until then it is quite simply impossible to get to my magazines.... Looks like it is not compatible with ios6 which is just criminal. I have installed reinstalled, reset iPad etc etc - no joy The app is a ZERO star app PLEASE PLEASE fix this and update your website to make it clear and to acknowledge that there is a problem.Version: 4.2.5
✓ Still awfulAvoid. The latest version as of September 2013 still has no pinch and zoom. And the fonts are a pixelated blurry embarrassment on an iPad. I thought it might be just me but my son's reaction was also "Yeurgh, that's hard to read!". It also has failed for the last 2 nights to let me download the latest version with server errors despite numerous reinstalls and hard resets. My advice to the (excellent) magazine editor is this: sack the app company - this has been rubbish for way too long now. Then employ the MBR app team to write you something which will do the magazine justice. Their app is a model of how it should be done. This app is a frustrating hang-prone unreadable waste of time..Version: 4.9.26
