T3 Magazine for iPad & iPhone for Positive User Reviews

T3 in iPadIn my opinion nothing can replace the feeing of holding a book or magazine in your hands and turning the pages. However I must admit the iPad edition of T3 that I wait impatiently each month almost fulfills that craving. It is an excellent app. Congratulations. M.H. Emiroglu.Version: 10.0.26

Great read... But...Great reading and interactive too, with videos. All with the advertisements... Some products have a 360 degree view. But it is the UK version, even though I purchased this on the Australian website, no mention it was the UK version!.Version: 1.3

Great appReally good content and design.Version: 14.9.4

Love it! 4.99 Stars! One request....include pound to US dollars...I know...and include more US/Canadian items...example...Autel Robotics Xstar Premium Drone...@ $699 during Christmas...4K camera and all the features of the DJI Phantom 4...not on your list...Ouch! This is a must read...love it!.Version: 14.9.4

Awesome!I love this magazine.Version: 14.2.9

Great mag, better app!Having been a longtime reader of T3, this was a much welcomed app when it first appeared. Great interactivity, with reviews & tests backed up with links. However, a recent update has caused it to crash and delete all my issues (I've purchased every issue since the app launched) and now I have to pay $6 if I want to read last month's magazine again. I've tried restoring my purchases, but am faced with an error message that reads: This is not a test user account. Please create a new account in the sandbox environment. [Environment: sandbox] I have no idea what this means, but if it doesn't get fixed soon I shan't be buying another issue, which would be a shame..Version: 10.1.37

Great magazineAlways thought this is a great magazine and always lots of new info.Version: 1.5

Great app. AmazingLove it! Great for not wasting paper but doing in in a functional way by adding loads interactivity from scrolling to opening the internet and way cooler things in the future. My ONLY complaint, hence the one star off, is the lack of landscape mode but I can see that may be a problem because of the scrolling but is still annoying to an iPad Pro and keyboard user. Great app, thanks..Version: 14.9.4

Great mag. Great app. Slow downloads from Aus.Have enjoyed reading the iPad version all year. This is a great magazine. I'm sure that's also why it's popular and the download servers are slammed... A bit more capacity is needed. It can take a long time to DL a copy, but it's always worth the wait. Would like the ability to keep covers in the library while stripping the 400mb magazine itself, once read..Version: 2.1a

I'll never go back!!After reading my first T3 on my iPad I can say that I will never go back to old print. It's has so much more depth and content! After all, who can say that they got a 360 degree view of a product in a printed magazine, along with video, interaction and excellent opinions and reviews. The loading time of the magazine is quite long and the auto resume doesn't always work!!! The prices are also high and I Would also like to see bookmarks! But I say it's worth every cent!! Excellent!!.Version: 1.1

Just awesomeFascinating read. Can't wait for the next edition!!.Version: 13.8.301

Great magGood articles and interactive.Version: 1.4

Customer serviceWith apps (well, anything really) great customer service is often hard to come by. However, T3 has been impeccable. I admit that I had a problem at first with the app not recognizing my subscription number, but I sent an email and was responded to within minutes! Needless to say, I was up and running with an AMAZING magazine and graphics within 30 minutes. Thank you to Paddy for the great service!.Version: 2.2.1

Amusing interface on top of great content.Sometimes challenging UI but ever amusing and colorful to match the top notch (and oft snarky) content..Version: 10.0.26

It's good , it's good...Navigation a bit tricky, but will learn quickly. Awesome info!!.Version: 10.0.26

AwesomeFantastic app/magazine. Unlike other magazines that are just glorified PDFs. T3 takes it to the next level with interactivity. If you liked how the Wired app/magazine interacts then you will love T3. My only negative comment is the price ouch! Common T3 there's no trees, ink or postage happening here. So drop the price.Version: 0

Love it....The iPad version of T3 is AMAZING!! Good work guys!.Version: 1.5

T3Love this magazine. Blows all others away!!.Version: 10.0.26

Very Good but for a couple of thingsI really think T3 is showing the way for iPad based magazines. As such I have purchased several of the back issues and do not intend to purchase the paper copy again. However there are a couple of things. New subscription option, the prices only show on my iPad if I am in landscape mode, not sure if that is just me or not. Unlike IGizmo many of the videos need an internet connection which means when I am on the train I am stuffed as 3g access is sporadic at best. I know it would increase the file size but embedded videos would better. Also why is the 3 issue option the most cost effective. If you buy 4 x 3 issue subscriptions you save a whole 4p over buying an annual :-) trivial maybe but worth pointing out, surely this should not be the case. Anyway good mag and another reason for me to love my IPad some more..Version: 1.3

T3Having my mind blown by what is possible in a digital edition of this awesome magazine. The animated gifs and sound effects make this more than just a magazine. We might have to call this something other than a magazine..Version: 10.0.26

Exciting techLove the mag. Full of interesting reviews and very tempting kit 😊..Version: 15.2.3

The mag is great and informativeAs they have nothing to gain with their reviews, they will call it as it is and write the love it or hate it it bits and some of these reviews have helped me in making my decision on a purchase, so very helpful..Version: 10.0.26

Pioneers. A very long long time ago.Best iPad / iPhone mag on Newsstand in 2012..Version: 6.4

Great stuffTop app. Love the info and pics. No need for aussie version, the UK T3 is a trillion times better with a stack more products reviewed.Version: 1.3

It's a pretty good reader for T3The built in browser is a bit wonky, but overall pretty intuitive interactive features. As for the content itself, T3 gets 5 stars from me..Version: 14.9.4

Surprisingly goodHave downloaded many of the early "mag" apps but have to say this is the first one to make me want to read my magazines in this may rather than paper. Perhaps it's because it's finally a magazine that I am familiar with but it is also down to it's execution and easy to follow format. Would have given it 5 stars but just disappointed that it doesn't have a discounted subscription offer, so as a subscriber of the print version I either need to keep paying my subs for that or cancel and buy the more expensive £3.99 iPad version. I think as much as I like this app, for cost reasons I'll stick with the print subscription. Come on Stuff Magazine, T3 has left you behind but you could beat them with a good iPad subscription plan! I want to give one of you my regular money!.Version: 0

Monthly issue seems a bit pricey...However, i really liked it on iPad! works great!!!.Version: 1.1

No problemsApp works fine, from opening a mag to the end..Version: 6.0.6

Simply the BESTStarted with the paper issue....from UK and ME...now only a digital reader....and love it more... Keep up the good work guys....Version: 14.2.1

Good AppI’m not tech savvy, but find the app easy to use. I don’t find the lack of a landscape mode a problem. You read a printed magazine page in portrait after all. Quality is good..Version: 15.2.3

Great Magazine But One Big ProblemThe magazine is great good articles interesting if you like tech, however, one major problem and I have had the same problem on my 2018 ipad pro 12.9 inch display and my new 2021 Ipad pro 12.9 inch display the magazines when open fill the centre of the screen. There is a gap of at least 2 inches all round. It is truly annoying. It used to fill the entire screen and was excellent as all magazines do, but not T3, more annoying as they are a tech magazine. I have written to T3 and no joy, I am guessing their developers are either lazy or I am missing something. I have tried everything but no joy. So come on T3 it is 2021 sort this problem out or let me know what I am doing wrong. Or am I better looking at T3 on an Ipad mini?.Version: 6.0.6

Great appI have been eager to see T3 make a magazine app for a while and when I found out about it on T3's website I was delighted. this is a great app at which it is a great electronic version of the magazine, but is it possible that you release the Australian version of the magazine. And fix the crashing problems apart from that it is a great app.Version: 0

FantasticNever had a problem downloading any issue. Good price, (although could be more competitively priced like Wired). Good interactivity, informative articles. If you like shiny gadgets thus mag is for you. Price drop would earn it 5 stars!.Version: 0

Awesome, except where is the "down under version"?Love this app for ipad, certainly saved me the heartache of fighting with the BF about him trying to throw out all my old hard copy's of T3, who knows when I might have wanted to refer back to an article I read a few months back? it's much better this way. The only issue I have with this is the same as the other reviewers, PLEASE hurry with the Australian version. Keep up the great work guys, also I'm not a "environmentalist" to an extreme but this is sooooo much better for the environment and my pocket ;-).Version: 1.5

Not as good as I rememberHaven’t bought a copy for a while and this month’s was released during lockdown so must have been difficult to do. However, there really wasn’t very much in it for the price and several of the articles had images that weren’t relating to the product under review. The app worked OK though..Version: 15.6.2

Some glitches but good when workingI've had some issues with the app forgetting who I am, losing downloaded mags for some reason, but when it is working correctly it is good, and obviously saves space on piles of back issues..Version: 14.9.4

Really Nice AppWould be a five but crases occasionaly. Lots of good extras including video review interactive ads and a lot of the stuff you get in the magazine just represented so much nicer.Version: 0

The Best Digital Magazine yetA fun app, obviously a lot of work has gone into getting so much detail here -- it's very interactive, rich and glossy and almost game like trying to find all the little hidden treats. Embedded video, hidden graphics and lots of panels to pan around in. It took a while to download ... I had to keep poking around the LIbrary while it was loading to stop my ipad going into AutoLock, but well worth it once it was finished installing. There is a nifty 360 degree camera view that you can pan around in too. Nice to see T3 have applied as much attention to the digital edition as they do to the print one. It's a bit mind boggling that they've got many of the pages in two layouts for portrait and landscape..Version: 0

Perfect :)If you like technology and gadgets this is the perfect magazine..Version: 10.0.26

Great magWell I downloaded the magazine with some trepidation and felt my worst fears were justified when I was left with 14 blurred pages and some portions missing completely. I contacted customer support and expected nothing back given it was Christmas but found them fantastic. David got back to me quickly after every message and explained that problems seem to exist when the I pad goes into sleep mode, indeed mine had done this. I deleted the copy and then downloaded again making sure to keep tapping the screen. This is the key and after doing this it's perfect. Took about 10 minutes with the latest version of the app and 5.0.1 on my I pad 2. The magazine itself is even better than the print version with video and some digital extras and it looks fantastic. A bargain at less than £2 an issue. Thanks David.Version: 2.2.1

Nice app designNice app design to make this famous magazine more interesting..Version: 10.1.51

BrilliantThe iPad edition of T3 is simply brilliant, making use of the format very effectively. The embedded videos are a nice touch. At about $5 cheaper than the airfreighted hard copy version it's much much better value. The way a tech mag should be!.Version: 0

Technical Support ExcellenceInteresting reading some of the technical issues with T3 I-pad version. As a new user i found downloading new editions for the I-pad version as opposed to the print version confusing. I contacted the Tech support and was contacted by Paddy. I work in the service industry and this guy went out of his way to find a solution for me. As a new user to T3 it was a great service experience . His advise on how to sort out the down load in case anyone out there is as slow as me.... 1 As an IPAD SUBSCRIBER (you paid for the subscription to T3 through iTunes on your iPad) you do NOT need to tap the SIGN IN button. 2 To see your IPAD subscriber editions, they arrive in the LIBRARY, and all you need to do is tap the download arrow on the greyed-out cover. 3 If the app asks you to Log-in, you need to use your APPLE ID and password. 4 If the download arrow is not there, you must ensure your iPad is connected to Wi-Fi, as it won't allow you to download over 3G due to the size of the content (500MB). 5 Please check that you are signed in to your Apple ID in SETTINGS on the iPAD, using the ID that you purchased the iPAD Subscription with. To top it the electronic version of T3 is excellent. thanks Paddy, made my day!.Version: 2.2

A fantastic iMagPlease hurry up with an Australian version please!.Version: 1.5

Latest release does not workAs a print subscriber I have used this app for some time. The latest release promised great things but it wiped out my downloads and didn't allow me to login (I can on the website) or register. I called up the help line, but they are print focused and although very helpful had to point me to an e-mail address. The e-mail address gives and out of office which Isn't a great start. After a day things kicked into action and a very helpful guy called Paddy walks you through the process (the app uses a user name not your e-mail to login in). Once in the app is great fun with lots of interactivity, it's imaginative and brings a new dimension to the magazine. The complexity of getting in (it could be easier) and some of the manoeuvring keep this at 4 rather than 5 stars..Version: 10.0.1

Fantastic AppLove the App, don't buy print anymore..Version: 10.0.26

Great techThis mag is great has all info you need.Version: 10.0.26

New app. Better app.Installed the latest app. Library contents required re-downloading, but as I remove them once read (I can download again if I want) what does it matter. Then I couldn't re-register because the app reported unknown registration information. What did I do, did I review the app with one star and complain no, I contacted future publishing support by email got a response within 24hours, problem sorted, loaded the app downloaded the mags I wanted to read and started reading. The app is as good as always, like the new washing line view, and really like the favourites. Thanks again to paddy on tech support, your prompt help is much appreciated. I wasn't sure the app could be improved, but I was pleasantly surprised. I rarely give five 5 stars for anything, and as I have only read one issue on the new app, but wanted to give some well deserved positive feedback I think 4 stars is fair..Version: 10.0.1

Good stuffKeeps getting better!.Version: 10.0.26

Highly interactiveI don't understand all the negative comments. This is definitely one of the better, more interactive magazines available. Yes, there are some issues with downloading the issues - you can't close newsstand or let your iPad go to sleep. Very annoying, considering the size of the download. But once you have it, it's a great read. I'm Australian and I preferred the UK version over the terrible Oz version..Version: 3.0

Worth $1.99Great magazine for $2! Should give a $40 annual subscription deal as in Zinio.Version: 1.1

Great ServiceThe magazine looks great. I had a problem with down loading latest issue. Emailed T3 support and they responded quickly The issue was resolved! Great Service! Well done!.Version: 2.2.1

Amazing!!!By far the best magazine on newsstand in terms of interactivity...all other magazines should learn a thing or two from this magazine when making/updating their magazines! Keep up the good work! =D.Version: 3.0
