✓ Not that greatNice idea, but still requires quite a bit of work. Map app is a bit rubbish, will keep a separate google map which is great. Sharing from news app to Facebook sends you to Safari and then freezes the app while asks you to log into Facebook again. Can't copy and paste links from news app. Would make a better app if allowed interaction within the app and made it a bit smoother..Version: 3.1.0

✓ Have now replaced this with creditI couldn't really get this to work for me. Just wanted a way of linking to google reader and found all the gmail etc stuff a distraction. Couldn't work out how to access existing reader content and it really messed up my gmail - suddenly had 100s more unread messages than i had before. ✓ How is this good?I just must not understand this app very well, considering every time I've tried using it there's a huge ad telling me to upgrade to remove ads, which I would have done already if I wanted the ads gone (really, they don't bother me that much and pestering me about them just gets your app that I'm using to simplify my experience deleted) So far all I've used on this is gmail, which is good, and Facebook, which besides having to constantly tap back to the newsfeed if you look at ANY line of comments works pretty well. I'm not using anything else, and truthfully I'm never going to use this app again till they remove the nag screen. ✓ Better than some but still needs workThis app puts everything Google in one place. but there are plenty of glitches. using Drive is really slow to open and when editing, the scroll feature is really laggy and the cursor is never in the right place. it floats "above" where you want to type and there's no easy way to navigate in the document when editing. seems like this wasn't actually made for touch devices. also, when opening app, password protect doesn't always show up or even work. multiple times when password request had been set, the password screen would appear, but no keyboard! then if you just close the program and reopen, you can bypass the password lock automatically. so as for security, this is not up to any sort of standard. all in all, it does the job, but really only barely. as far as mobile apps go, this is sadly probably the best around. perhaps one day app developers will truly make mobile computing a priority instead of an after thought. UPDATE: down from 3/5 Stars to 1/5 now the app is slower than ever! stupid ads every time you open the app and the push notification NEVER works properly anymore. doesn't notify when there's mail and if it arbitrarily does, won't get rid of the badge after I've read it. obviously the developers have abandoned this app. junk! better off using actual gmail app even though you have to have a separate app for Drive & Google+. this app is not worth the stress..Version: 3.3.0

✓ Does the job, but Facebook interface undependableEmail, browser, and most of the other apps work all right. No email signatures or other bells and whistles. Facebook is very limited as to what it will allow you to do. No way to manage subscriptions to people's feeds or block annoying apps and people. No uploading photos directly, you have to email them to some weird randomly-generated address to post them (mine includes an iffy word that makes me think a spam filter would block it by default). But the worst - messages and posts often get cut off - in several different ways. Sometimes it will only put up half of my post or comment and totally omit the rest. Sometimes if I try to use cut and paste to edit before posting, it will crash the program and when I reopen it, I'm back on newsfeed and my message (however long it may have been) is gone. If I'm writing anything of substance, I have to draft it in my email or Evernote or somewhere else and drop it in ready to go or risk losing some or all of it. I think of it as just a lightweight way to check in on news but not to get anything important done..Version: 2.5
✓ Recent bug with email draftsThe past month, when you compose or reply to an email, it doesn’t delete the saved drafts when you send, leaving you with several (up to dozens) of drafts in the thread — which you can only delete one by one laboriously. Hilariously the feedback function stopped working as well. Prior to that I loved this app as it was superior to the Apple and Gmail apps for ease of use and breadth of functions. If they don’t fix this I’ll have to revert to the Apple Mail app which is poorly conceived..Version: 4.0.2

✓ Installed, tested for 10 min, deletedI don't particularly care for this app. I already have Google Earth, Chrome, Gmail and a calendar app that auto syncs with GCal. I was hoping this would put them all in one place, but it really doesn't, they're kind of scattered around here. I entered my government account info, went back later and I had to log in all over again. The Gmail app remembers my account information for two different accounts just fine. Seems like this is a hodgepodge of google stuff, most of which I don't use and doesn't do any of it as well as the individual apps that I use. This seems to me more of Google trying to track everything I do with my phone so they can sell my info to others, which is where I suspect they make most of their money. ✓ Good Intentions, but Bad DeliveryI was glad there was finally an app that brings together several elements of Google, and then some, but I find that G-Whizz attempts to gather too many features without perfecting any of them. For the most part, the layout makes sense, but I find that the app struggles with some basic functions. Do not use if you are in a hurry. You are better off with opening the separate app dedicated to what u r trying to do (Gmail, Calendar, Facebook). Here are some issues, to name a few: - the icon shows a number on my homescreen, but the number doesn't necessarily correspond with the number of unread emails in my Gmail, so I'm not sure what it is idicating. I can't figure out if it is counting something else, or if it's simply incorrect - clicking a link in an email takes you to another screen, but the app isn't meant for web browsing. There is an option to open the link in Safari, which helps, but I find that it is a slow process and takes too much time. I'd rather just view it on my computer than to have to wait for the app to close, open Safari, etc. - the Calendar isn't perfect. The default month view requires you to pull down the screen in order to see the last week of the calendar, so it doesn't give an easy month view as good as the GooCal app. Overall, I have neutral feelings about this app. It needs some improvements to make it more functional..Version: 2.5
✓ Glitches Kill an Almost Perfect AppI have used this app for Google Docs, but the glitchy design of the G-Whizz Docs interface makes me want to find new ways to pulverise my iPod. I do not understand how difficult it would be to simply have the keyboard pop up when I click on a word or a space, like a normal iPod interface, instead of constantly popping up when I try to scroll down the page. It's so frustrating to find something that's almost perfect for my documents only to find bad coding throws a monkey wrench into the whole thing and derails the gravy train. If you look further into the reviews you will find that others are also experiencing the glitching problem, so it may be beneficial to take a look into it to help refine your product..Version: 2.5

✓ Google apparently don't care about apps.That's my conclusion after downloading this one and not downloading the Gdocs one because of overwhelmingly negative reviews. This app keeps giving error messages saying I have not logged in properly, even though it's happy to show my email account. Which brings me to the main problem: my existing legitimate emails are not visible, but dozens of spam emails have now been delivered. When using the proper desktop version I've never received any unsolicited mail. What a shame Google aren't supporting app development..Version: 1.4

✓ Super annoying ads in free versionThe free version has super annoying ads, and the dialog boxes, to turn them off, do not work properly. If you choose to turn them off for 24 hours, they stay right where they were...i.e. they do NOT turn off at all. And, every time you open the app, you get an annoying full screen video. Also, it would be nice if there were a single sign on for all of the google apps...as it is, you have to log in to each one separately. However, each app does remembers your ID and password, between sessions. Overall, it is a pretty nice app, without the very annoying ads...but the ads are so annoying that it almost makes you not want to reward them by buying the app..Version: 2.4

✓ Poor quality web browserI purchased the app because it said buying the extras would get you extra apps and extra pocket change rewards. In the paid version you can no longer earn pocket change, I don't understand why. Surely you should earn more for paying! Also the extra apps have poor compatablity . This app is just a web browser which is slow and clunky and doesn't respond accurately. Half the "apps" cannot utilise the back button making them useless to navigate. The push notifications don't work. The entire thing is a mess. I thought I would save space by combining my apps into one. ✓ Some good, some badI got this solely for the Calendar, since I needed a Google cal app to keep my family up to date on appts and events. The cal app is good, although it doesn't allow you to set reminders and has no "all day" option for events you enter; you are also stuck selecting times on the hour and half hour instead of being able to manually input event times. As for the rest, it's nice to have the news, translate, and search functions and maps all in one place, but do we really need Facebook and Twitter on here, too? Plus it's a little off. It keeps showing that I have 13 notifications and I've checked Gmail, Google+, FB, and no notifications show up anywhere! Quite annoying. Summary: a good start but needs a lot of fine tuning. ✓ Great app, but needs updating and more user friendly interface.The idea behind this app is really good. I like how all my Google apps were put into one place - it was a great idea by the designers! However the functionality and appearance of the apps is not very good. The Gmail app is your old classic version and the Google plus app takes you straight to the Google search page which is something I do not like. You will use this if you are more concerned about time management and accessing all your apps in one place. If you like an app to look good and you want to be able to use the apps to their full potential, don't use this app. If Google would come out with something similar to this I would definitely download it, but I am more focused on the appearance of my apps rather than saving five seconds of my day, which I would be doing anyway. So download this app if you want all your Google apps in one place, but if you like really nice looking Google apps that have full functionality, then don't download it. ✓ Well, what can I say...I will change my review if it gets better but right now, it's not working well for me. I tried using Google Calendar, adding events, etc. and displayed some weird graphics where you really can't add a specific time to an event. I then switched from mobile view to desktop view to see if there was any change. I got a message that said basically this may not look right or have every feature. I clicked "okay", then kept getting the same message over and over. I was locked in a loop and had to power off. Glad I haven't bought the $2.99 version. Like I said, I try a few more things but this won't work for me if it remains the same. ✓ Not the bestFacebook is ok.. Most features work but the experience is not as smooth as using regular FB. Gmail is the same as checking through your phone however is you have two accounts this app makes that process easier. Twitter same, google search same. The major complaint I have is similar to my Facebook complaint which is overall the interface is not smooth and seem less pages get stuck you can't always go back to previous ones and I'd comparing this app to just using all its tools in a normal way ie through your mail box or your FB app or twitter your not getting much more , besides connivence. ✓ I keep getting logged off but other that, it works!I tried Vtok to use google talk n it just stopped working right away no matter how many reinstalls or what I did to fix it. I downloaded this app so I could use google talk and it seems to work. I just use it for that although it has a lot of neat features. My only complaint is that it waits a while to log u back in automatically after a reception issue occurs that causes u to be "logged out" so in chats I don't receive all my messages. I haven't found the settings where I can request automatic right away log ins. Also, sometimes my contacts don't show. ✓ Can't add events to calendar from emailI find the most annoying thing about this app is that it does not allow you to add calendar events sent via email into my google calendar. My husband is constantly sending me events to add to our social calendar (he uses Outlook) and this app does not allow me to easily add them to my google calendar. I have to go to my computer and add them via my gmail, which is not always convenient. The iPad email app can't do it either for some reason, which is why I was hopeful that this app could update my google calendar. I will probably delete this app if a solution is not provided in the next update. I have the free version and I would definitely NOT pay for this when something as simple as a calendar event can't be added to my calendar..Version: 2.5

✓ Why am I getting sex ads?!?I've been using this app for a year, for the calendar, email and document functions. While the ads have always been intrusive, I've lived with it since it's free and has met my needs. However, in the last week, all the ads are for "girls who always say yes" and "naughty girls" with images of women dancing suggestively and starting to slip off their underwear.
