✓ Very soothing ...... Especially the music. The only downside is that the "active" square isn't that easy to see & you think you've got it in the right place but end up putting the right number in the wrong square - very frustrating to be marked down for an error that wasn't really one. This happens quite often, particularly when you think you've moved the square but then it turns out you haven't, & you put the wrong number in a square where you'd already put the right one but it still deducts points. Also, once you've solved all the puzzles, it will let you redo them but without any scores or timings..Version: 1.45

Seemed ok after that so was going to improve star rating but now it's playing up again, refusing to accept a correctly completed puzzle. It's keeping 1* until it's more reliable. UPDATE 2 Although it is beautifully designed and laid out, the lack of reliability is keeping it at 1* for me. It still regularly refuses to accept correctly completed grids. ✓ Why the heavy ads and trials and competitions?Version 1.40 said buy any pack and it will get rid of the ads -not that there were many. I did that and now have more ads than I ever had before. And that's after disconnecting the app from the internet... or so I thought until I got frozen on an ad and had to restart my phone because I wouldn't click on it. Why do you need to know if I'm the owner of this phone if I don't want to 'win an iPhone'? Great game, but the ads and pop ups every time I turn it on ruined it... sorry.Version: 1.51

✓ Sudoku gameThis game is a nice challenge, and yet simple enough to share and teach my eight year old. It features the ability to note and eliminate possible solutions in each square. I like that I am able to turn off the sounds and enjoy the game silently, and also to challenge my own best time. However, only the first 100 boards are free. They give you three levels of difficulty on the free boards, and they are satisfyingly challenging; but there are two higher difficulty levels on the paid boards that I’m not going to pay to get. Also, ads seemed to suddenly get much worse after the last iPhone update, including one that keeps interrupting my game and superimposing itself repeatedly over my board. I can’t figure out if this app is the issue, or the update, but I suspect it’s the update..Version: 1.60
