✓ SudokuWorked well until I installed the update. Now it's stuck on the high scores page. Won't respond to any input. The update claim was to fix minor bugs. I hadn't detected any, but I got sick of the red flag on my app store icon so I installed the update. Oh well, I'll save a lot of time now, from not doing 'insane' sudoku. Which is the only level which is worth calling a puzzle. I dunno why do sudoku anyway. It's not hard, just time consuming. It's not like you learn anything, except how to solve sudoku. ✓ MehI’ve had this app for over a year & the more updates they do, the worse it seems to get. The ads are now pausing the game & making you watch their videos now. It even opens up the App Store for me to download it when I didn’t even select anything. It’ll open up safari too. Rather annoying. ✓ Terrible ads!!!I used to love this app. It plays music that I really enjoy and has nice graphics. I have two MAJOR ISSUES with this app which COMPLETELY RUIN IT!! First the ads now constantly interrupt you WHILE YOURE PLAYING!! They literally pop up and take over the screen in the middle of trying to play and you have to wait and click out of it. THEY SPAM YOU!! It literally just had 6 IN A ROW! And as I click out of the ads another one just keeps popping up!! I finally just had to close the app and look for a new one!!It’s worse than a pirate website!! UNBELIEVABLE. Secondly it doesn’t reset anything when you restart or replay a game, it keeps the time and errors from previous games. That’s completely stupid. If you restart a game it should restart the stats! ✓ Great and crappy all at once.This would be a great app and it is better than the others but it needs a design overhaul. Since it's fairly monochrome, it's often difficult to see what square is selected and that causes mistakes which blows your score to pieces. Also due to the size you tap on something and either it doesn't chose the square you want and you have to hit it again if you notice or you end up getting a fault. The number pad is small too so unless you have tiny fingers you often to hit the wrong numbers and are faulted. My recommendation to make it a 5 star game would be to make the square selector a very dark and different colour and make key numbers larger. Otherwise it's a good game but needs to be more user friendly and great..BoothacusVersion: 1.65

✓ Paid for ads- basically garbage.The game itself used to be great. I’ve purchased many of the packs, but now all of a sudden there are ads popping up all over the place, which is distracting and ridiculous. If I wanted to see ads I’d play free games. Tonight I had ten minutes to play, but before I could even get to the game I had to sit through an ad that forces you to interact with the ad and complete the steps to get to the end the advertisement, THEN the tab to close out the game was so small it took me to the App Store every time I tried to exit. ✓ RidiculousEven on easy this was hard, I'm not a sudoku sort of person but I decided to give it a go anyway, it was pretty much impossible. I spent ages trying to get past the first level on easy and I still cannot do it. It may be the game or myself but the set numbers are not right! I know the first three (down) are correct because you can't do it any other way but when I try the others, there is no way to do it unless I change the first three which I can't! ✓ ProblemsThe game of sudoku itself is very addictive, however the application has it's problems: it freezes and kicks you out of the game, sometimes when you hit the back button it changes the whole game, with numbers already entered (and incorrectly too I might add), and sometimes when you pause a game and exit to do something else on the phone, when you reload it, it finishes it as if u have completed the game and gives you a 0:00 minute time score, without you actually finishing the game, and sometimes when you do actually finish a game it doesn't recognise that you have and it doesn't take you to the score menu to continue on to the next game. ✓ Excellent app BUT crashes every time you play the higher levelsI love this, but have had it on two devices and it crashes every time when you go to the expert or insane levels, losing everything you've done, often not allowing you to finish the game. When you put numbers in, in several games I played the only possible square left for a number was one which it could not go in because the same number was in that row or column. ✓ NotesOne of the more difficult ones to play on. Let me write my own notes but automatically delete a number from the column/row/9x9 section when I make the number so. I don't see why the only option is to either write all your notes for you or do nothing at all. Taking out the number is just tedious, not hard or anything. I've found that little bit of assist really nice in sudoku apps. Too bad this one doesn't have it. And now with some update you can’t even choose your difficulty level. ✓ Good gameplay ruined by intrusive adsI’ve been playing this game for some time and enjoy the controls and the puzzles. I have bought several packs of puzzles at different difficulty levels and until recently enjoyed them very much. The problem is the ads, which have always displayed above the puzzle board (even after I’ve paid for puzzle packs, which is disappointing). In the last few weeks, those banners seem to be flashy enough to be distracting while I play; unfortunately that isn’t the worst problem. The ads I now have to wait for a close button to appear on them every time I open the app aren’t the worst problem either, though they are mighty annoying indeed. The most appalling are the ads that interrupt gameplay mid-game, full-screen, and make you close them before continuing to play. This, in an app I’m paying to play? That’s galling. It’s behavior I might expect from a free app of much lesser quality. Bottom line: this is a good game made unplayable by intrusive ads that ruin gameplay. ✓ Let me tell you what I hate about this appIf you start a puzzle, the timer starts. If you abandon the puzzle, or start over, the timer doesn’t reset. Ever, if you move to another puzzle, the timer doesn’t restart for the previous puzzle - it bothers to remember that for every single puzzle. The only way to reset. The timer is to complete the puzzle so if you share this app with your kid, and they take 45 minutes before they abandon the puzzle when you try the puzzle completely reset the timer starts at 45 minutes. This is highly suspicious and could be phishing for data from apps like password managers.
